The food and atmosphere were great. Nice, friendly staff!
This cool casual place is a perfect spot to have some enjoyable beer and a wonderful dinner. The menu is unique and the food delicious. The carrot hummus was very interesting and good, the thai mushrooms excellent. We also had the spaghetti squash that was perfect and surprisingly filling, the roasted chicken, and the burger. A little of something for every palette.
I’ve been to Wye Hill a handful of times and it’s quickly becoming a favorite. The service, food, location, and ambience have consistently been a recipe for success.
The food was delicious! We really enjoyed our visit. The staff was so nice! We will definitely be back!
It's a cool space with a great patio we will visit when the weather is warmer. We went for brunch and the food was very nicely blended and seasoned. That is something I rarely find and so appreciate.
Excellent food and cocktails. Great place to get a bunch of plates for sharing!
Excellent food, nice brews and spectacular views of downtown Raleigh
Arrived close to opening, food and overall experience was great. Good brew, done right.
This location has always been a Raleigh staple , it was sad to see the decline of its previous tenant but never did I imagine it would come back as an even better establishment. The owners , chef , staff ,service and ambiance finally matches the iconic Raleigh cityscape views.
Hi Bekah - thank you so much for joining us! We are so glad to hear you had a great experience, and we appreciate your kind words. Looking forward to seeing you next time! Cheers, Chris & Sara
This place is all about the view, but we were pleasantly surprised by the food as well!
Hello! Thanks so much for your review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your experience, and we hope you'll come back again soon! Thanks, Chris & Sara
The view on a clear night is the main reason to go. It's a bit expensive.
Loved everything!! Mushrooms were especially amazing.
Great vegan options that are "outside the box" which is really appreciated. Some chefs are lazy when it comes to offering plant-based options, but Wye Hill has several creative dishes. (Ask for the separate vegan menu). Our favorite was the Thai mushroom dish and the arugula tempeh salad (although the squash on the salad was a little hard).
Thank you so much for joining us. We are so glad to hear you found a friendly home here, it was definitely an intentional move on our part to design a menu that was more inclusive of herbivores. Thank you for letting us know about the squash - we will look into that element in more detail. We hope you'll join us again soon! Cheers, Chris & Sara
I don't think I'd recommend for dinner however, it seems like it would be an awesome place for after work drinks and nibbles - We were there for dinner and our food was lukewarm (at best) - burgers were overcooked - and service was slow (although she was very friendly) - so would not recommend for a meal.
Hi there, Thank you for letting us know about your experience, and we are so sorry to hear that it wasn't exceptional. Great food / service / ambience - would definitely come back. We had wings burger steak and poutine - all were delicious. Great view of downtown froM outside seating
Try the Korean fried chicken wings and fried green tomatoes, thay are FABULOUS!! Also we got to try a new offering for fall, apple spice mimosa. Yum!
Our server was great but the food was Meh....a let down. We went there for brunch my husband got the burger which sounded great and the server recommended but it was horrible. His fries were so cold and the burger was impossible to pick up. The bun fell apart. He said the burger was not fresh it was premade patty. Very disappointing because we were looking forward to trying this place. I had the pork belly Benedict which was also a disappointment. It was a regular eggs Benedict with a few bacon like pieces of pork belly scattered around the plate. Definitely NOT what I was expected from the description on the menu. My son had the shrimp and grits, he said it was good. His girlfriend had the Huevos Rancheros which she said was ok not great.
The best outdoor, deck view in Raleigh, but food is more upscale now than before. Some of food was undercooked. Then they overcooked it to fix it and it ruined it. But I think when they brought out the dish with raw egg that they should have comped us since one of us was finished before the other began and meal was ruined when reheated. This location so rked better with simpler, casual beer pub style food. Severs were very nice and tried hard, but the cooks are trying too hard to be fru fru when they should go back to brew brew.
Great beer and the food was good. Best view in Raleigh!!
We had a wonderful Girl's Night dinner at Wye Hill! The food was great, and so was our server Donny (sp?). I recommend the herb roasted chicken and cauliflower steak. Thru only serve one dessert (panna cotta) and they do it wonderfully! Im not a beer drinker, but tried the Dry Rose Cider which was excellent! We sat outside, with a lovely view of the city! This would be a great place for a large dinner outing. My only complaint was being startled (the first time) by the train, and having to drive around a while to find parking. Other than that- add Wye to your list, and I promise it will be a new fave!
Gorgeous location with fantastic ambiance and great service. Nice drink selection (especially for a brewery - lots of cocktails and wine for non-beer people). Food was tasty and inventive - a bit overpriced imo but fresh and would go again for the “whole package.”
Beautiful views
It was our first time at Wye Hill Kitchen and Brewing. We love the location and the atmosphere at Wye Hill it is beautiful especially their outdoor patio. We received excellent service during our time there. Our drinks where good especially the beer. For food we ordered the deviled eggs, the smoked oysters aguachile, the Wye Fries and the NY Strip. All I found to be disappointing. The deviled eggs needed more seasoning. The oysters where lukewarm and the sauce I did not feel enhanced the oyster. Fries where ok. The NY Strip was the best part but know the Brussel sprouts have a strong flavor if you are iffy I would order them on the side. We finished with the panna cotta which was also not to our taste the smokey finish did not work for us. All that being said I feel we might not have ordered the right things and will return and give it a second go as the place is beautiful and the service was great.
All was good except the beer menu is limited to only what they brew and have available at the time. So you may go and they don’t have one you like which happened to us. This might deter us from going back very often if we can’t enjoy a beer with our food.
Such a great restaurant with a wonderful ambience! Perfect for a family or friends gathering (big groups) or even a cute date night! I came with a big group (plus our dog) and they were so accommodating and gave exceptional service! The food was wonderful. Fresh ingredients, innovative menu along with their delicious takes on some classic dishes.
This NY girl will definitely be back on my next trip to NC!
