Second time there recently. Food very good on both occasions. Last visit packed because of Christmas had a 20 min wait for reserved table. Staff overwhelmed poor table side service had to ask for refills more than once! First time impeccable service
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. We take pride in providing impeccable and consistent service, however, we missed opportunity to do so during your recent visit. I assure you that we take this seriously and will make corrections to alleviate this from happening in the future. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you back at the Wrigley Mansion.
The menu is expensive and the food is very average. I had the rack of lamb ($48) which was flavorful but would have been nicer if weren't served like a rack of ribs. Roasted cauliflower was a petite portion and was mixed with broccoli and tasted like boiled vegetables. We skipped dessert.
With so many great restaurants to choose from in Phoenix don't spend $200 for dinner for two at Geordies.
It is most discouraging to hear that your experience was unsatisfactory. Our culinary team takes a great pride in presenting best flavors and ingredients to curate exceptional experience for our guests. I am sorry that your experience was less than that. If time permits, would you please contact me directly to discuss your experience in detail? Thank you (GM)
This place is one of Phoenix's gems. It is a masterpiece. Panoramic views of Phoenix from the hilltop vantage point. Food was excellent. Meal was beautifully presented.
Beautiful house overlooking Phoenix, wonderful food menu for lunch. Wife had the Cuban sandwich, which was perfect down to the chips in the Spam container.
Great lunch, preceded by the tour of the Mansion. Great afternoon!
We booked the tour and lunch following. Everything was wonderful. Such a beautiful property and amazing views. Staff very attentive and friendly.
We choose this site for our 45th anniversary dinner. We were seated on a bank of west windows as the sun went down. It was spectacular and set the tone for the dinner. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. We finished with the chef's tower dessert. I appreciated knowing about the valet parking as the walk down the stairs on this steep hill in the dark would have been a challenge for me. This was a memorable place and meal.
We arrived in time to watch the magnificent sunset while enjoying a glass of wine. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and wines and quite attentive throughout our meal. Three of us had a pasta special and one the mushroom pasta which was best of all. We also order the roasted cauliflower. For dessert we ordered the souffle and it was somewhat disappointing compared to many decadent ones we all had experienced elsewhere.
You simply cannot replicate the ambiance, history, views and elegance at WM. I am a social member and live two hours away and always look forward to dining there during every season of the year.
It is always incredible at Wrigley Mansion, I highly recommend scallops and a glass of wine.
Thanksgiving dinner was excellent!
This was the perfect place for celebrating Thanksgiving Day with our dear family members. We had family coming in from out of state for the holiday. They were elated to experience the Wrigley—from its beautiful view and ambiance at 5:00 pm to its delectable cuisine! In fact, one family member remarked, “This is the best buffet I have EVER had!” We all agreed. With the variety of personal tastes and dietary concerns, the Wrigley accommodated our family perfectly. Bravo to the chefs, the staff waiting on our every need, and the hospitality shown during our impromptu tour. We will definitely return for another family holiday gathering. Additionally, there may be a wedding in our family in the near future, and the bride is considering Wrigley for her ceremony and reception!! Thank you!
Amazing attention to detail. Very special night!
If you would like to experience fine dining with insurmountable service and views that will take your breath away this is the right spot!
The Sunday brunch is a deal you cannot beat for the quality and the price!
The food was great, the atmosphere was a wonderful experience. Staff was on point.
I invited 3 of my clients to tour Wrigley Mansion and eat lunch afterwards. They loved the tour and the information, and their lunch. They stayed much longer afterwards enjoying the patio and the weather!
Excellent meal and a lovely dining experience. Thank you
always a beautiful setting, we ate outside and it was perfect. The food still seems to be less than before the renovations, but that may just be me. The brunch was very good and service is always top notch!
As you drive through the gates and ascend the the narrow walled road you begin to get that old world feeling that defines Wrigley Mansion. We arrived early so we waited in the bar and slipped into that European pace where the experience is more important than being hustled through the place.
When we were seated about 10 minutes before sunset our corner window table gave us nearly a 270 deg view. The sunset was gorgeous especially against the mountain silhouettes and when the city lights came up it was a spectacular back drop for sharing the chef's special lentil salad. Our main course was the house made pasta with a delightful chunk crab sauce and when paired with our Loire Valley Vouvray set us up perfectly for dessert. Not being chocolate lovers we ordered hot and cold chocolate and the fsmbourmbour
Wonderful place friendly staff the view was amazing
my open table reservation was for 11:00 a.m. the restaurant was not ready and they made me wait 20 minutes for my table. would have preferred sitting down with a glass of wine.
This was our first visit to Geordies. We went for Sunday brunch. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed perfect weather and lovely view. We enjoyed bottomless mimosas and a buffet with traditional breakfast items(waffle and omelette should stations) as well as lamb, prime rib, pasta dishes, crab legs, and desserts.
Overall a wonderful experience and walkable (although up hill) from the Arizona Biltmore Hotel.
Geordie's has always had the best ambiance in town, and a few years ago they upped their game on wine to nationally recognized heights, but Chef Christopher has added the finishing touch, bringing world class cuisine with fresh innovations every time we come -- which will be as often as we can! But don't tell anyone, or we'll have trouble getting our table...
Stunning view of sunset from this comfortable and romantic dining room with exquisite food and good service. Cocktails and wine list were perfect. Uber drivers needs you to cal to direct them to the valet parking site
Lovely restaurant overlooking Phoenix. Good food! Good service!
Jessi the bar captain was great. Stellar service, great history of the mansion, and amazing drinks! 10/10 recommend.
A delight and hidden treasure for friends who have never been.
Absolutely lovely experience. Went for sunday brunch and it was amazing. My family was in town visiting and loved this- probably their favorite part of this trip. So much delicious food, can’t beat the view, fantastic ambiance and service was outstanding. A great spot for a special brunch experience, worth the $80. Can’t wait to go back!
We celebrated our anniversary at Geordie's. It was intimate and quiet. The food and drinks were amazing. The view was breath taking.
We are already making plans for brunch soon.
I asked for a window with a view and was given a beautiful table with a view. Service was great, food was amazing. It was my husband birthday and the staff made it very special.
The ambiance and view were outstanding! The menu was very limited. The smoked salmon appetizer was very good. My wife enjoyed her pasta dish. The hanger steak was very fatty on did not taste as good as a filet or ribeye. The bread crust was very hard (for our taste). The special birthday dessert for my wife was delicious. It's a wonderful building with an amazing history but just not the menu one expects at a high-end restaurant.
Very unique place with excellent food and ambiance. The staff made certain that we ate at the same special table that we do every year when we celebrate our anniversary. The service was superb; all of our requests were granted and more. We even received a special complimentary birthday glass of champagne as well as a special chocolate dessert.
We were surprised that the server was wearing soiled/worn vest.
We were Among the first to be seated for lunch, and there were still bread crumbs on the window sill from the previous evening service.
My dining companion had the house made pasta, which was excellent. There were no gluten-free substitutions so I was a little disappointed.
We are glad to hear that you loved the house made pasta. I am disappointed that our server wasn't in clean and crisp uniform, which is our standard. This is certainly not acceptable and we will address this with the team members. We will also explore gluten free substitutions with our culinary team. Thank you for the valuable feedback.
Had a lovely anniversary dinner! There was a handwritten card signed by the staff, and we also received a free dessert. The food was delicious, and we couldn’t have asked for better service.
Congratulations on your anniversary. Thank you for allowing us an opportunity to celebrate your anniversary with us.
Why the food was outstanding it could have been a little warmer.
Thank you for the feedback. We will be sure to share your comment with the culinary team.
Beautiful view, great food, wonderful wait staff!
Great place to take a date, great view, good food. Service was ok but not what I would consider exceptional.
All was great except the beet pasta dish was not warn enough for the two guests that ordered it.
Last night was our Wedding Anniversary and I wanted to give my wife a special dinner. We decided to eat the Turbot for two. My wife is not a great fish fan, but we agreed that this was one of the best sea food dishes we have ever had. Also, our waiter, Mark, did a very good job explaining the menu and making suggestions.
Geordie's was exceptional! Great follow up to tour (put in perspective). Food was outstanding. Service was very good. I would highly recommend it. Price was steep, BUT worth it - this is not a drive through - in line with most other high end places we eat.
I'm dinging stars a little bit because we were seated (Party of 3, 1:00pm Sunday Brunch) 25 minutes late. I'm not sure why, either. There was only two parties in front of us and when we WERE seated, plenty of open tables. Just as I was about to inquire in an annoyed way, we were seated. The foot itself tasted wonderful, and the waiter himself entirely attentive. There should probably be more hot dishes to choose from for the pricetag, though. I'm not an omelette person, so it's hard to justify the price for a waffle and a short rib, essentially. But again, all that WAS offered tasted great, was fresh, and had quality.
