Wren is a new cocktail bar & restaurant at The Watermark Hotel, part of the exciting Capital One Center! Enjoy culinary delights from Executive Chef Yo Matsuzaki and a curated cocktail menu and wine list. Chef encourages patrons to share menu selections in our cool vibe lounge.

Our garage entrance is on Capital One Drive North – across from Capital One Headquarters. Drive through gate, up ramp, and park your Lambo on 4th or 5th floor. Proceed to guest elevators and press 11-Lobby/Wren on the digital elevator panel. A friendly reminder to bring in parking ticket to be validated at Guest Services.

    The food was first rate across the board, expecially the Tokyo chicken. Only concern with the food is that the portion of black cod was on the small side. BUT, the noise level in the dinning room was uncomfortably loud....some mix of people chatter at a high level and background music accelerating the pain. Only thing that saved the night was the ability to dine on the outdoor terrace, and that was almost messed up by a rock band pounding away on the adjacent patio. Fortunately, after about 20 minutes of banging away the band quieted down.

    The bar had run out of multiple spirits that I requested. I ordered wagyu and when it arrived, the hot stone turned cold quickly. The manager came after 15 minutes of waiting and said he will refill our half cooked meat with fresh ones and a new stone and free dessert. A new stone arrived but no new meat, that stone turned cold after 5 minutes again and no new meat came. At this point it had been over 30 minutes of waiting around and we told the server that we just want the bill as we were over waiting and had lost our appetite. I was charged for the full amount of the wagyu that I never received technically as the half cooked meat from the original order was taken away from us and never refilled. when the bill came with the manager ignoring us and walking the other direction. This was not the server’s problem at all as all tables were booked but there were 2-3 servers only. Very disappointed to be treated this way by the manager and ignored afterwards. Never going back.

    Great venue and location. Fun place next to the beer garden and Perch. Food is very expensive and just okay. Burger was over cooked but the manager insisted it was cooked correctly.

    While I enjoyed the evening and thought the food was quite good, I doubt that I will return to Wren. Main reason is that the place is too noisy. When 4 people at a table have trouble hearing each other, the place is not for me, particularly at the prices charged.

    Wren is a classy place. Good food. Excellent beverage program. Jamie and Jose are excellent behind the bar. The only ding I would have is that it can get pretty crowded and pretty loud… 😊 Great drinks and food? Yes. Quiet dinner? No.

    Great food and terrific service. Only challenge is finding it. Park in Wegmans lot and go to your left past Perch. It's right there before the corner but you have to take elevator. Once you get there it's easy and up in the sky.

    I really enjoyed the ambience Wren had to offer and all of the food was absolutely delish! Loved the wagyu burger and snagged bites of my dates’ Jidori chicken - so amazing! Def recommend and will be back!!

    I really wanted to like Wren. I've heard lots about it and was happy to see an open rez at a good time. Noise level is high. Open floor of a hotel lobby and cement decor make an echo chamber. Service was slow. "All our tap water is warm. Can I upsell you on bottle?" Appetizers were FANTASTIC delish across the board. Mains were okay. Tokyo Chicken was good. Fish was delicious but super small, like 3oz maybe. Other chicken dish had an undercooked wing. Brought to attention and they replaced the wing with a, you guessed it, super cooked wing and that's all. Desserts were disappointing. Mousse tasted like and had consistency of Pilsbury frosting in a cup. While that can be good, you don't expect that of a restaurant serving mousse.

    It's excellent Asian fusion cuisine. The burger is the best I've had in years. Try the Korean chicken and the bao buns. The only disappointment was the wagyu tartare. It was too chunky and just lacked flavor. Other than that I've never been disappointed there. And when you're finished with dinner you can go to the Perch, just outside, and play putt-putt golf and listen to Live music.

    Lovely dinning experience. The food waa a delight, and beverages were exquisite. Service was royalty like and atmosphere was a reproduction of a 18th century feist. We shall return.

    Food was good, not exceptional. New server who did not know how to serve most of the dishes- leaving tops on when he should have removed them, leaving sauce for us to pour. Not a big deal but it should be fixed with better training. Drinks were excellent. Cool vibe. Not sure I’d return tbh. Just not that memorable.

    Portion sizes are small but adequate: you won't leave feeling stuffed. Food for the eye as well as the palate. The manager and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Some dishes, e.g. the donut-like dessert, take longer to arrive, but are worth the wait. Bring a credit card with plenty left on it. For those taking metro, use the escalators to the buses, not the bridge to the park and ride. It will leave you closer to the hotel.

    Bit of a rough start, we didn’t get drinks on the table until nearly an hour into our seating and after our food began to arrive but the server and manager were quick to make up for the day as service was flawless thereafter and the food was absolutely divine. We couldn’t decide which dish tasted best and the sake recommendation from the server was spot on. Highly recommend!

    I don’t usually write many reviews, but this time really called for one. First off, I’ve dined at the Wren multiple times in the past and the ambience and food quality kept me coming back. This time around my experience was extremely different. First off, they sat our party of 5 at the corner of a high top table meant for 10+ people despite making a reservation a week in advance. We asked if we could be seated at a smaller table (which many were visibly available) but they said all the tables were reserved. Mind you we were there for almost 3 hours and those very reserved tables were never occupied during those hours. That wasn’t even the worst part of our experience. Our sever “Felipe” was extremely unprofessional and inattentive. When he came by to take our food orders he took 2 out of our 5 orders and later disappeared. We flagged him down to ask him why he didn’t take the rest of the orders; he simply said because “you were having a conversation”. The night gets better as our food orders came out at random times: 2 burgers ordered at the same temperature came out 30 minutes apart while the wagyu steak came out in minutes. Ultimately we weren’t able to enjoy our meals together. To add to that, our plates were empty for almost an hour before the server came back to clear them ( after flagging him down again this is) while we had to personally needed to ask him for the desert menu. The cherry on top was that they charged us a auto 20% gratuity for a party of 5 for this horrendous service. This place has definitely gone downhill for an establishment that prides itself in quality and service and will definitely not earn my business again.
