First visit and was surprised by the restaurant being mammoth and so large. For some reason I thought the restaurant was more intimate. Upon being seated our server was nice and didn’t push us to quickly order. We ordered cocktails (dirty martini was outstanding). Our guests ordered a bottle of wine. Our server should be trained on how to serve a bottle of wine. He reached directly across the face of my guest who literally had to lean back. He dribbled wine in the table when pouring both glasses. The Brussels sprouts were unusual and outstanding. The short ribs were a little bit too dry but ok. The scallops were delicious and presented beautifully. Finally, when the bill came we asked it to be split. Not sure why that was confusing to our server but he rang it up wrong as it was over $50 off. Now I have 2 bills on my card and hopefully the credit for the erroneous one will disappear soon. The Wren is on track to be a nice restaurant however it has kinks to work out (not the kitchen)!

Entree portion size for the cost is not great. More like small plates with big plate costs. Like the ambience thoughz

Great experience in Wren, as usual. Excellent food, excellent service, and the ambience is always great, with some additional tweaks this time around.

We had drinks and food before a show at Capital One Hall. This is a really beautiful space and the drinks and service and food were all excellent. Definitely a hidden gem.

Why did I wait so long to try this place? Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Creative takes on Japanese cuisine with a fairly priced wine and sake list to complement the food.

Really disappointed with our meal at Wren. This was our second time at Wren. The first time was a lot better (food & service). This time the food fell flat.

The food is ok, I think is overpriced. Also , the manager asked to move to another table while we were waiting for our dessert. We had a table closed to the window, and wear there from 6 to 8:30 pm. he said there was another reservation coming up, and wanted the window sit. We told him we were waiting for my birthday dessert, but he insisted us to move. I think it is unacceptable for an expensive restaurant like this . He really ruin my birthday.
