   This is our "go to" place for lunch when visiting Beaufort from Charleston. WB is consistently good. The service staff is friendly and efficient. The chicken salad is their signature lunch special - salad or sandwich. Keep up the good work. WB is where we tell our friends to go for lunch when tying up in Beaufort.

   Wren has never failed to make and serve a great meal. The Parking in the area is sometimes a bit hard to find, I drive with Handicap license and the walk is sometimes long. I drive 45 minutes to go to this restaurant and I will continue to drive it for the lovely and nutricious meal. We will be back.

   Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Wren. The atmosphere is welcoming and under stayed. I had a party of 3 and we enjoyed the fried green tomato app to share; it was so well presented! The tomatoes formed a bed for some cheese, bacon, and balsamic to top and decorate. Delicious and inviting. My sister and I both had tacos. I had the fish which was crispy and flavorful. She had the veggie tacos: Colorful and bright. My brother in law enjoyed the reuben: classic and generous in portion. Cocktails were made quickly and cold, nicely presented. We enjoyed every minute and are looking forward to our next visit.

   I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes as my entree and they were incredibly DELICIOUS! The BEST I’ve ever eaten. There were enough on the plate so that I was completely stuffed!!!!! I’m so glad I didn’t order anything else. My husband ordered the Sams Pasta w/shrimp and he really enjoyed it. There were supposed to be scallops in the pasta but he didn’t think they were in there. Nevertheless, he enjoyed his dish. He also had a house bourbon. Waitress was excellent.

   We both really enjoyed our meals and drinks. The food was served quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. I had the meatloaf—it was exceptionally tender and full of flavor. My wife ordered the pasta dish and was very pleased.

   Good local restaurant, casual style, good food and courteous staff. First time in Beaufort and we’ll eat at Wrens on our next visit.

    Food was expensive but excellent. Service was a rush job. Bordered on annoying. Never asked us if we wanted another drink or even dessert. Just the check. Seemed like a table turn night.
