Woven & Bound
Had a business breakfast, and it just was not a great experience. We had a reservation and that worked smoothly. One meal was incomplete, others arrived later. Needed ask for refills. Some meals were good others were not.
Good location, easy access to McCormick and Wintrust Arena.
Great food, great service!
For $1500 plus tip for 8 people, the price was excessive. Steaks were good but not outstanding like I have had elsewhere. Service was excellent!
Convenient as it's in the hotel but limited dinner choices.
Breakfast was just OK--limited options, pricey buffet with standard fare. Lunch was very good. The short rib sandwich was messy but tasty, and my colleagues enjoyed their sandwiches as well. If you are staying at the Marriott or attending an event at the convention center, the restaurant is convenient.
Before sporting event.
Quite surprised had Duck and Rabbit! Chacuterie was so-so need more variety. Desserts also very tasty.!
Good food & attentive service
Great Christmas Day dinner! Food was very good and our waiter was Excellent’
Different type of food offered but was very good!!
The food was great. From the appetizers to entrees, sides, desserts, everything was delisted. Service was a bit slow, but everyone was very accommodating. A perfect addition!
EXCELLENT CHOICE WHEN AT MCCORMICK PLACE!
Food was great - started with the stuffed figs - YUM! Soup was hearty and the rabbit pasta was wonderful. Excellent wine list too.
Service was personable and efficient- Kudos to Ignacio!
Terrible service —some got their food, others waited 20 minutes after others were served. Very poor
Business lunch during a large convention, so everywhere was busy. Great option with good food and connected to the convention. Would recommend, especially if attending event at convention Center.
In general very good. They say us down on
Clean efficient friendly and convenient location. Excellent service and good food.
Inside the Marriott Marquis, this restaurant serves the convention crowd. I think you have to enjoy that vibe to appreciate the restaurant. The food is good. I had lake trout that was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The menu, however, is a bit narrow, especially if you don’t eat bacon or kale.
Went for cocktails at the bar and then for breakfast. Slow service at the bar but my mixed drink although not cheap was amazing, so glad we waited. Be aware that for breakfast they do not offer the buffet when the hotel isn't full enough, and they don't let you know that in advance. But we both ordered off the menu and the food was very good. We would go back.
It was a pleasant atmosphere and the food was really really good.
Breakfast while staying at the hotel. Also had drinks in bar the night before.
Love the espresso bar
Limited brunch menu. Dishes were not memorable. Service took very long even if there were only a few people.
Great breakfast menu! Service was very good especially at peak breakfast time. Great location near McCormick Place.
Even with a reservation it took over 10min to be seated, another 20min before a waitress stopped by our table to bring water, we ordered quickly and the food took over 30min to be delivered. Really disappointing and disruptive as we were on a tight schedule.
Too many tables and not enough servers. Such a shame that professionalism eludes this beautiful space.
I used Woven & Bound for a business breakfast. Our group of nine was seated promptly and the table setting was really nice with several pitchers of coffee and lovely ceramic place settings. Our waitress came by promptly with water and juice and kept the refills flowing throughout. I was impressed by the service, the buffet options, and the interior decor.
It's a ubiquitous hotel lobby restaurant, and we came for breakfast during a busy conference, which is why just about anyone would be here (the hotel is next to McCormick Place). There was a very long line that seemed to take forever to get through, and we sat down 10 minutes late despite having a reservation. But even once we sat down, we barely saw a server -- nobody came by to take our order after 15 minutes, and we ended up just needing to go to the breakfast buffet because we'd have been waiting through lunch before someone took the order. This was all despite there being many open tables.
Everything just went very slowly and seemed disorganized, as if they were completely unprepared. But this is what they should be expecting every day.
Unfortunately my experience was horrible
Staff is so incompetent, short and argumentative.
Food was poorly prepared my food was overlooked and my husband vine was sitting out fir too long and was awful
Not recommending ever !!!!
Great service. Eggs Benedict and willingness of staff to alter ingredients was fantastic
Lunch service was slow. Brought water, but never asked us for drinks. Brought 5 of 6 meals & the 6th person waiting another 10 minutes for hers. No one came by to see if we needed anything after that. Salad was fine, burgers ok, fries good, mushroom sandwich was soggy & not really as described. Went back for evening appetizers & drinks (was staying at hotel and location is convenient). Much better service and the flatbread was very good. Our drinks were good.
Nice quiet place for business lunch during conference at McCormick Place
Ignacio was our server and he was amazing. Kudos to him! Food was good and I got to take a soda to go which was an added touch.
Nice looking open area seating, but worse food EVER!!! Nothing was good in my opinion They should just try to keep it simple... The smoke chicken noodle- - broth and noodles was good but the chicken was not. The caesar salad was not good, order the whole fish (I think it was trout) not sure how you could go wrong but they did and the sides, lentil beans and califlower was horrible. The only thing good were the drinks and you had to drink more just to swallow the food. May go back for drinks but never again for the food.
For a hotel lobby restaurant, this was exceptional. Our server was excellent, the extra appetizer compliments of the chef was tasty, the recommendations given proved accurate, and the pricing was really reasonable. We will be back.
Two sandwiches, one salad, two soups, two chicken entrees plus a couple beers and two cocktails = $248! Before tip too. Very over priced and the service was ehh..
I made a reservation here for a business breakfast. I requested a quiet location and they sat us right next to the server staging area...not a quiet location. We requested a more quiet area prior to the rest of party arriving and they were very dismissive and not even very friendly. The servers did not inform us that there was no option to order from a menu. It is buffet only. The food was good.
The server and atmosphere was great however I guess a pipe burst in the kitchen and they are only doing buffet food. The buffet was just average.
Not your typical hotel restaurant and bar! There's a variety of seating, from tables with sofas to high tops with low-back bar stools. Decor is modern and fresh. Not too loud for conversation. Menu puts a creative spin on some traditional dishes. Mostly "shareable" appetizers or full entrees on the dinner menu, but there's also a burger and some salads. Service was a little spotty - forgot to bring a glass of wine and one of our entrees came out 5 minutes after the others - and about 6 different employees visited our table at some point, felt like they were scrambling a bit to take care of everyone. That said, the pace was nice and relaxed (not too slow), and the food was delicious. It's too far to be a regular spot, but it's a great option if you're going to McCormick Place or the Wintrust Arena.
Server was not attentive at all. Food was slow and some were in error.
