Incredible food, unbelievable atmosphere - probably one of my top 5 restaurants we’ve eaten at in the whole world. And we travel a lot!
AMAZING FOOD AS USUAL , GREAT SERVIE , PATIO IS AMAZING THANK YOU WORKSHOP
We loved it. Our only disappointment, if you could call it that, was that it was our last night in Palm Springs and we couldn't eat there again this trip.
It was a loud space, I couldn't hear any of my friends all night plus the tables felt sticky. My shaved brussel sprout salad had tasteless strawberries and no dressing. For a place that states it uses in season produce , the produce was tasteless and bland.
Not cheap but fantastic food. Our waiter, Jeff was fun and attentive. More expensive then we usually go but we’ll worth it.
Creative seasonal American inspired dishes. Loved mixing and matching small and large plates. Terrific cocktails.
We had a 7:30 reservation for 3. Waited an hour till they finally sat us outside in the courtyard. A group of very drunk bachelorette girls were hovering around our table, we presumed waiting for a table. The prices are way to high for the bar atmosphere. Finally they left obviously never waiting for a table, just hanging out. The bathroom looks like a state park bathroom, really with such thought put into the restaurant, you crinch when walking into the bathroom, and it was filthy, paper towels everywhere, cigarettes on counter, literally disgusting.
And our dinner was $300.00 for 3 people, with only 1 drinking( 2 glasses of wine)
Not worth the $. This place would never exist in Chicago!
Wonderful visit during a getaway. Definitely book a table here in advance . It was our best meal while visiting!
The setting is lovely and the food is fabulous. This is not an inexpensive place to dine, but if you are looking for a special experience, this is it
Sadly, I was disappointed in the food. The dishes were bland and lacked any sort of creative flavor. The only notable item we ordered was the romanesco. Luckily, the cocktails were great, so we enjoyed those. The atmosphere was fun, but also very loud. We sat at the large center communal table, and I had to speak uncomfortably loud to reach my friend across the table from me. Definitely not the place to visit if you'd like to have an intimate conversation over excellent food.
Fabulous . Great food and ambience. Our waiter was awesome. Had a great evening.
Delicious dinner in a trendy restaurant, service was good but be prepared to wait a bit. Great bar scene. Nice architecture.
Very, very good!
Super nice ambiance and cool 1927!building
Wonderful meal. Great ambiance’s
Came here since highly rated for Palm Springs. Find it to be over rated. Pork chops were dry. They do not serve any Coke or Pepsi products but had only Mexican style soft drinks so not great if not alcohol drinkers.
Loved Workshop! We sat at the bar and had an awesome meal. Loved the atmosphere, very lively. It was fun watching the bartenders make craft cocktails. Food was superb!! Will be back!!!
Our server was very friendly. The service however was slow. It wasn't that it was bad, it was just that I had better experiences elsewhere. It was also on the expensive side for what it was.
The space is beautiful. We sat inside but I would also love to eat outside sometime. I might go back back not for a while. One person's opinion though. You may think it's great!
The lobster pizza was so good!
I have gone to the restaurant since its opening and it continues to be one of the best restaurants I have eaten in. This visit was not exception. If you're going, ask for Diego. He proved to be one of the best waiters we have encountered in many, many year. Great service, great smile and very knowledgeable!! You won't be disappointed with this restaurant or Diego.
Delicious food, great service and a community table with fun people to get to know. This was a very special night out in Palm Springs.
The food was tasty, but seriously - the portion size wouldn't have satisfied a humming bird (and no, this review isn't coming from some guy who lives at a buffet). If you are going to drop $$ at this place, do yourself a favor and go have dinner before arriving at Workshop. As an example, the two scoops of ice cream for dessert were obtained with a tiny melon ball scooper. I get the "We are foodies, blah, blah, blah..." - but holy crap, I left there needing....dinner.
Came here for Sunday brunch. Service wasn’t over the top but friendly enough. Food was delicious. We ate outside in the courtyard. Cute spot for a girly date or a romantic brunch for 2.
The server was just way too informative. It was overwhelming to have someone recite the entire menu without even having a drink on the table yet. If a menu is presented, how about just let the customer go over it and ask questions as needed.
The ambiance and food quality was very good. Great service, we were seated at the commune table, nobody was seating right next to us so we didn’t feel squeezed in by other people. So far, one of our favourite restaurants in PS, we’ll come back for sure.
Very cool looking restaurant. Food was good. Enjoyable evening.
Amazing space. Great food and fantastic wine! Michael was a fantastic host.
Place is too noisy ...even in a booth. Brussels sprout salad was too vinegary. Gagged on it. Bun could not support our burger. Fell apart. Had better experience x2 before.
Food seemed expensive for what you got. Cocktails were interesting and delicious, small plates were creative and great value, entrees fell short...just not enough of what was described on the menu made it onto the plate.
Loved the cauliflower /cheese. Fell short on the chicken.
Great food and service ❤️
Pros: Nice courtyard, friendly waitress, interesting menu, great location in DTPS, pet friendly
Cons: Only 2 umbrellas in courtyard, so it’s hot; They won’t move tables around to be in/out of sun; Stressed out, unaccommodating , and rather rude hostess; no substitutions on menu (Like adding tomatoes to an omelet...really?)
The overall experience was awesome! The server did give a lot of attitude regarding my dairy allergy, but at the end of dinner he was friendly and took care of us well. The space is really beautiful and the Duck Fat Fries are out of this world!
Great spot to check out in Palm Springs. Good food and great vibe.
Amazing all the way around!!!
A little pricey but worth it!
The food was mixed the steak was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The sliced brussel sprout salad was also extremely good however the roasted brussel sprouts were not so good. The pudding was OK. The wines by the glass were again mixed with good choices and less good options. Overall lacked consistency.
Did not have a good table. Communal table near door. Octopus was a bit tasteless. Sea bass was good .
Would rate our dinner good, but not great. A bit overrated for the price.
Decor and ambience were the star of the evening.
Fish was cold. Mistakes happen. It did get taken off the bill, but we sat there for 5 min waiting for the waiter to go “check with the kitchen” before the “Im so sorry, I can take care of that for you. Would you like to try something different”. Happy with the outcome, but should have happened instantly at Applebee’s much less a place like this.
small portions, the food came out at different times, some of our plates came out 5 min later than others, 2 plates were missing the potatoes, the guy that delivered the food was less than friendly, our sever was great. we waited for 30 min for our reservation. i heard really good things about this restaurant but will never go back.
