Amazing food. Best meal that I have had in a long time. Everything was perfect: cocktails, wine, starters, entree, and dessert. Best caesar salad I have ever had. Pork cheek fries were spicy and amazing. Duck Confit was to die for and the pork chop was moist and flavorful. I am not a fruit dessert person, but the apple tart was recommended by our server. I was unsure of not ordering a chocolate item, however, I did not miss it. The service was impeccable as well. The chef and owner even came to our table and checked on us. The patio was beautiful and they made sure that the temperature was kept just right with the heat lamps. This night was absolutely perfect. It was not an inexpensive meal, but it was worth every penny. I would go back again in a heartbeat.
Delicious meal at an exceptionally nice space (indoor and patio).
Also, an exceptionally attentive and skilled server.
Modern space and menu. Enjoyed!
Frosty reception when we showed up 10 minutes early-even though our booth was empty and available. There are ways to be welcoming even if you don’t want to seat us yet (even though you did a week before when the same thing happened-sorry on NYC time.) We weren’t shown to the bar etc just told to “leave and come back in 10 minutes.” After that the experience was excellent as usual with wonderful drinks and inventive food. Waiter recommendations were spot on.
The service was professional and friendly, the food (both the small and large plates) were delicious and the bartender knowledgeable.
Love the architecture and design!
Had delicious celery root soup; perfectly prepared black bass and a tasty almond cake. Others in the group had the steak, the scallops and the oxtail ragout with risotto and were all very satisfied with their choices. Our server, Divinity, was the perfect mix of helpful, friendly, and attentive without being obtrusive. We had a great time and would definitely return.
Logan, our server was great! Food was wonderful, cocktails and wine, excellent. We'll be back. Only negative is that they brought out the birthday dessert w/candle to my date while I was in the restroom.
Food was good, interesting well presented. Service was excellent, wine prices were absurd for a California restaurant!
Good meal.....especially mussels and grilled bread as well as scallop plate. Only the Ceasar salad was poorly prepared and expensive. The salad was drenched in dressing and contained no croutons nor any hint of garlic. The apple tart consisted of flavorful apples but the crust was a little tough. Overall prices were slightly high despite some creative and inspiring elements.
Beautiful decor, elegant menu and attentive service. This is a must-do for any visit to Palm Springs. We'll be back.
Superb service. Creative menu, lovely presentation, and delicious food.
The server was great...sorry don’t recall his name but he had a white beard...
The food on the whole was great... the duck fries were good but I was hoping for more- not sure what that was but I bet there was something that was even better on the menu.
We had the duck and the pork chop!
And if you can’t get in ..,go to truss and twine! Owned by the same folks and the best tartar every!!!
This was our first visit and the restaurant did not disappoint from a food & drink perspective; it was excellent! The only minor hiccups were no mention of our Anniversary (indicated on Open Table when I made the reservation) and forgotten coffee with our dessert. These won’t stop us from returning
We came in for dinner on a Sunday when we were in town, the Host was incredibly accommodating because I had to change my reservation around a couple times. The food was incredibly creative and unique. We couldn't decide what to eat because every option sounded amazing.
Alot of thought was put into the bar program, every cocktail we tried was great, great detail in the craft coctails. The seasonal Bees Knees is great! The winelist was a little overpriced even considering restaurant mark up. I noticed alot of other guests bringing in their own bottles.
Our server (Jeff I think) was very hospitable and funny. He easily upsold us without making it seem so. He was very passionate about the food and restaurant. He was knowledgable on the menu and restaurant history
Great vibe and energy even on a Sunday.
Having recently moved from NYC, we especially appreciate a good find like this in the desert. It was a fantastic experience overall. The food was creative and delicious. The atmosphere was sophisticated and lively.
Grammar vibe loved the service and the food
We had another wonderful dinner at Workshop Kitchen. Natalie was our server and her knowledge of the menu is always helpful and her enthusiasm for the ingredients adds fun
to choosing our meals! The food, the service and the ambiance are the reasons that Workshop
is one of our favorite PS restaurants! Thank you for all of the dedication and devotion to creating such positive dining experiences for your guests!
Beautiful meal, very well-paced. The service was attentive, but not intrusive, and the food was fantastic!
Fantastic dinner for 4. Easily one of the best dinners we have experienced on our USA road trip. Great food + service + setting.
Noise level over the top. Expensive
While the food was top notch and the ambiance inviting and exciting, the level of service was less than I would have hoped. I would describe it as “haughty.” Here’s an example or two. We were instructed upon arrival by the hostess to wait at the bar for our table and to make sure we paid our bar tab before moving to our table. When our table was ready, the hostess asked us, “You haven’t paid your tab yet?” What one would expect is that the restaurant staff would arrange for the bar bill to be transferred rather than encumbering the guest with a job. When seated, I asked for a wine to be suggested in the $50-$75 range. The waiter replied that the “cheaper wines” weren’t as good. Enough said.
Not impressed at all. We had a bad experience a while ago and thought we would try it one more time. Probably will no go back.
We took our two kids and wanted to have a hip, fun dinner. Ambiance is fantastic and service was good, (maybe even too attentive). Food was pretty good but very overpriced for what you get. Cocktails were great.
My favorite restaurant in the Coachella valley . Best pork chop ever . Fun original atmosphere. Definitely a restaurant for foodies . Chef trained in France and you can taste it . Fabulous authentic tarte Tatin. Love this place !
Work on veggie menu and creativity
Great food and great service. Pork chop and scallops were wonderful.
Interesting and beautiful space. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.
Voyage à Palm Springs
Logan our server was awesome! Service was great. Food is always so insanely delicious.
This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in years.
For $200 per person, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have a certain expectation of personal attention and the highest quality of food and drinks. We’ve paid much less for far better service all across the country.
The food was horrible. Most of the food had a terrible odor to it. Could not think of a worse way to end a New Years vacation.
Overall, this was the worst dining experience we’ve had in years.
The service was non-existent. The “open bar” would have been nice if it didn’t take 30 minutes for each round of drinks. I even mentioned how bad the food was and the waiter chose to ignore my comment. (When we got our ticket, we saw they itemized the prefix menu and valued the Champagne toast at $40. The staff was chugging the Champagne before midnight, this was incredibly unprofessional.)
This establishment should be embarrassed by what they delivered.
Overall the pre fix was delicious. The dessert course lacked imagination in both presentation and substance for a holiday meal.
My experience with the Palm Springs food scene is very limited but it seems the most interesting places are ones like Workshop which are smaller but really focused on being creative with their menus. Seating is tight but the cuisine is worth it.
I ordered scallops and my husband ordered the risotto. Both were fantastic.
Not super impressed by the food or the service.
Our second date here was just as lovely. The ambiance seems to always have a festive vibe so it was a perfect place for Xmas dinner. The new heating lamps worked really well and the flames put off a cozy glow. Service was generous and friendly. The food was delicious and many dietary accommodations were patiently made. Oh and my special request for a hot toddy was met and it was perfect. ❤️
Christmas dinner was magical! Special was perfect!!
Beautiful space, amazing service, and great cocktails. Food was a bit more inconsistent. Had to return a dish and it came back no better and the re-order wasn't placed at the front of the line so it took 30 minutes. Disappointing for sure from that perspective, felt like a big miss on a $38 dish. Highly recommend for a cocktail and small plate - bar is really cool. Skip for dinner though, there are better places in Palm Springs for that part of the evening.
Fabulous meal, great service! Thanks to Diego!
Uneven food. Excellent Cesar salad and hanger steak. Good pizza, risotto over cooked. Weak dessert.
Perfect special evening for our family of 7. The setup at the community table was apart from the others so we dined privately. We had the whole fish special and yummy cocktails.
