Great spot to check out in Palm Springs. Good food and great vibe.
Amazing all the way around!!!
A little pricey but worth it!
The food was mixed the steak was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The sliced brussel sprout salad was also extremely good however the roasted brussel sprouts were not so good. The pudding was OK. The wines by the glass were again mixed with good choices and less good options. Overall lacked consistency.
Did not have a good table. Communal table near door. Octopus was a bit tasteless. Sea bass was good .
Would rate our dinner good, but not great. A bit overrated for the price.
Decor and ambience were the star of the evening.
Fish was cold. Mistakes happen. It did get taken off the bill, but we sat there for 5 min waiting for the waiter to go “check with the kitchen” before the “Im so sorry, I can take care of that for you. Would you like to try something different”. Happy with the outcome, but should have happened instantly at Applebee’s much less a place like this.
small portions, the food came out at different times, some of our plates came out 5 min later than others, 2 plates were missing the potatoes, the guy that delivered the food was less than friendly, our sever was great. we waited for 30 min for our reservation. i heard really good things about this restaurant but will never go back.
Sunday Brunch was amazing... Great menu... Would recommend.
Food was excellent. Very fresh, well seasoned, and creatively assembled. Waiter was friendly and kept glasses filled.
Workshop has a super fun vibe and is very trendy. Kinda felt like an L.A. crowd which I didn't realize, obviously, since I showed up in my clingy cotton dress and flip flops w my daughter. The place was packed - there's a really cool patio dining area with heaters and fairy lights. Inside is very rustic modern (and loud). The wines by the glass seemed less interesting than I would have expected of a restaurant of this caliber. Food was good- scallops were lovely (but had better at the Rowan Hotel the night before). I'd like to go back with my husband and heels, it would probably be a totally different experience.
This place is LOUD and very busy. We waited 15 minutes to be seated with reservations and I felt like I was in the way the entire time. Once seated we waited 10 minutes for someone to come to our table. Once the servers assistance took our order we received our drinks and appetizer very quickly. Our server was very pleasant and added to our experience. The food was good. We had the octopus for appetizer. For entrees we dined on fresh sea bass, pork chop, and the burger. The sea bass was fantastic. The pork chop was a bit tough but okay. The burger was pretty good as well. For dessert we had dulce de leche ice cream and the lavender cake with berries both were 3/5.
Overall our experience was good. We were visiting PS for business but would not return on our next trip.
Good food, but loud and waited 20 min longer than our scheduled reservation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Workshopbut it wasn’t amazing. I think I’ll remember the interior/design more than the food. Our neighbors at the communal table got the ribeye to share and that was huge and looked amazing. Brussel sprout salad was good but nothing show stopper about it. The octopus calamari was well cooked (sou veed) but was too acidic in preparation and needed some olive oil perhaps to even it out. The duck study #2 was yummy (I love a good pate). The entrees and dessert was all good don’t get me wrong but nothing that we were blown away from. All in all worth while but would not go back again.
Shared ribeye was top notch.
Can go wrong with any pairing. Everything on the menu blends and is hi quality and complex.
Get the bread with truffle spread.
Greatest waiter, worst hostesses, pretty dang good food
I love this place. Decor is perfection as is the food . Wish I could have tried everything on the menu.
I’m not sure why people have given this restaurant 5 stars. The cod was fishy. The scallops were chewy. Everything were small portions, ala carte and expensive. The $27 burger is good but its not with the price. And that’s just a burger. The community table is awkward. I removed this from my list of places to eat in Palm Springs. Tropicale is 10 times better
Outstanding destination. Loved the food, atmosphere, service, all of it. Had the cauliflower appetizer and bread service. Later was served with truffle butter on the night we visited. For entrees I had the scallops with polenta and pork jowl. The jowl had a wonderful porky flavor to the dish. My wife had the black cod which was also very flavorful and perfectly cooked. Getting hungry just typing this. Nice wine list with some interesting choices. We had the xarel.lo. This is the grape that Cava is made from and is relatively rare to find as a still wine. Think a poor man's white burgundy, albeit at $80 per bottle. Overall a great experience and would definitely go back.
Great food. If you eat inside, reserve a booth
One of if not the best restaurant in Palm Springs. It’ll cost you but it’s worth it. Hand crafted cocktails, amazing food, stellar service and beautiful atmosphere.
