View Private Dining DetailsHost seated us promptly; waitstaff was quick, attentive and friendly; food was creative and delicious.
Service is always good and staff is cheerful. However this time the server didn't know what we had the last time. We've experienced this before, the server came to our table noting what we had the last time and if we wanted the same thing, it was very impressive and I was expecting that this time. Workshop should make this a practice with their returning customers. Like I stated it was a lovely time.
Just 'ok' last Friday night. Food is consistent. Service? not so much.
Such a cool trendy restaurant in the heart of Palm Springs. Definitely recommend. Love the ambiance. If you want to sit in a booth, call in advance
So loud that conversation was impossible. Good food and service but truly the loudest restaurant I have ever eaten at. I would try the patio if I return.
Delicious as always!!!!
Good food. Good service. Overpriced. For example, vegetable plate was $34. I shop at the farmers market and I could not have possibly spent more than $8-10 for the same ingredients. There was nothing special about the selection or preparation to warrant $34.
Had the braised pork amazing, and spicy and loved it
Wine complemented perfect {gerner} with the spicy pork dish
I will definitely be back great vibe casual staff who are knowledgeable and friendly
Thank you for a great dining experience
Best meal in Palm Springs! The cocktails are also outstanding
Absolutely incredible in every way! Our server is the best server we’ve ever experienced and every bite of food was delicious!
We love dining at Workshop whenever we're in Palm Springs-never had a bad meal.
Stick to dinners! After trying to cancel and learning about their cancellation policy I rounded up the sleepy troops and there we went. Place had plenty of available tables but service was not great nor was the food. We’ve had duplicate orders and it was so strange to have to ask them to make sure all that was supposed to be on the plate made it (missing the cinnamon whip in one of the pancake orders and then the tomato on of the bacon’s). Also the waffles were soggy but the fried chicken was delicious. t’s a pity since we’ve had multiple dinners there and we’ve always had a pleasant time.
Our server was amazing and really knowledgeable! Have already recommended to all my friends. Thank you for a great evening!
Not a bad bite or sip. It started with tasty craft cocktails (Bees Knees was wonderful with the perfect balance of fresh tartness) and continued through to the last dessert bite. A flawless meal. Even though the weather was perfect for outdoor seating for dinner, we chose a booth on the inside. Great ambiance and appreciated the architectural details. Good lighting, professional and attentive staff.
Seating outside on a lovely desert evening great, waitstaff professional and engaging, food presentation mediocre in execution Scallop was good although the sear was poor the flavor was there, risotto average, poor presentation. Duck fat fries soggy, limp. Burger meh......the cocktails were awesome although priced at $14-15 a little high in combination with a mediocre meal. We all three had two cocktails each-well balanced and nuanced. The interior restaurant has communal tables and a few booths. This is a contemporary stark design....seen in LA, Barcelona, and Germany which I found aesthetically pleasing although we opted for outdoor dining . I wished the food lived up to the design. The waitstaff excellent.
I had been looking forward to eating at this place since the last coachella and it did NOT disappoint! The menu is on point and the atmosphere is perfection. We got great service and delicious food and drink.
Our sever was awesome + made our experience even better - everything from the vibe to food to hospitality was on point!
Our experience at Workshop was spectacular again! An amazing meal, it’s never a bad decision. Love this place in al ways.
Of all the many restaurants we've eaten at in Palm Springs we have finally found one that really stands out. The food we had was creative, flavorful and beautifully presented. We sat at the long communal table and our neighbors were friendly and open about their food, which they raved about. The decor of the restaurant is striking. The booths are private dining spaces. The communal table is great for people dining casually who want the feel of others enjoying food & wine. The outdoor dining is in a lovely setting, too. The bar is great - interesting cocktails and a good wine list. This was an outstanding experience in every way, including the service, which was attentive and professional. We will keep looking but so far, this is the only restaurant in Palm Springs I would recommend to 'foodies'.
The food was good, but the portions were miniscule. I don't have a huge appetite, and I appreciate quality over quantity, but I spent $64 on food alone (no drinks) and left hungry.
I feel the need to let the management know what an utter disappointment it is to be greeted at your host stand with sustain. Your hostess on 4/9/18 was absolutely offensive in her greeting, reservation requesting and seating us. I find it to be an honor and a privilege to live in Palm Springs and as a guest in any establishment am respectful of every service industry person I come across. I too am in the service industry and was appalled that my wonderful server had to make up for the host’s terrible behavior. Nothing can ruin a potentially wonderful meal like being treated poorly by someone whose job it is to make you feel welcome.
Excellent food, excellent service, cannot wait to go back!
We had a great booth as promised. One in our group had the frittata which was dry. I had the crab Benedict. The crab was good, but the Hollandaise sauce was practically non existent and had little flavor. There was little evidence of the grilled escarole. The potatoes that came with entrees were tasteless and uninteresting.
Service was poor. She never ch caked back to see if we needed anything. We had to ask for more water and coffee. The waitress said she couldn’t find the coffee pot so she took our cups away and refilled them. .
Superb! Great food in a fabulous setting. Would most definitely go back. Thoroughly recommend.
Cool atmosphere and fabulous food. The veggie dishes were outstanding. My steak was a bit tough for the $90 price tag. Scallops amazing and cocktails delicious. Would definitely go back again
Despite having received a call from the restaurant to confirm the reservation, when we arrived they seemed to have no record of it. However, they were very accommodating and gave us a booth inside as the woman who called me had promised.
Absolutely fabulous restaurant with great location, top notch serve and very good farm to table food.
Diego our server was awesome
We love Workshop especially....small plates....great wine and cocktails.....super for us agin romantics. Wait staff attentive.....especially Nina.
Was excited to try but the entrance was very difficult to find, Wine was mediocre and the food was very heavily salted. Waitress was fantastic but overall seems very overpriced for the food and experience.
Outdoor is lovely and quite. Inside is very loud and they have communal tables. Specify outdoor when you reserve.
The service great. Modern vibe with concrete and bare bulbs. Cocktail excellent-a Hemmingway. My date had Soft tacos good not great. Duck fries so-so. My crab Benedict was good but almost no Hollandaise-why?
Went for Easter since they are only open on Sunday's for brunch. It was our first time and we loved it. The interior is awesome. We did ask for a booth when making reservations and got it. Food was unique and yummy. We will definitely go back for dinner now. I had the lobster burrito, my husband had the fried chicken and waffles, and my mom had the burger. We were all VERY happy. Duck fat fried fries were awesome too. Can't wait to go back!
Delicious food, cocktails and fun ambiance! Reservations are a must as it gets busy!
As anticipated. A wonderful evening with fine service and delicious tastings from libations to entrees.
Fabulous dining experience @ Workshop. The food was outstanding and I really liked the industrial vibe inside.
Portion sizes as aspected for 4 dollar sign restaurant. (Note: This is not a "gastro-pub"). Food was prepared well, and presentation was good. Signature cocktails were very good. Delicious steak and risotto. We have had much better mussels though. The ambiance was interesting. Rustic Minimalism. Outside Court yard was more inviting in my mind then inside booths. The long, farm-house cement table would be good for large parties and gatherings, not a date. Yes, depending on the circumstance, I would recommend this place but be prepared to spend a bundle.
Originally we stumbled across kitchen bar & workshop for breakfast after not getting a table at a a popular establishment down the street. We were delighted at what we found (better than said establishment!).
The brunch was delicious, the tiny potatoes were a favourite and the waffles were yummy, fab decor and service. We returned for a evening meal in the same week and we're not disappointed.
Very contemporary decor and nice booths with room for 4 people. The outdoor patio area looked nice too!
Gorgeous patio setting but our table was in more of an alley with uncomfortable metal chairs. Cocktails excellent, well made. Duck fries were good but half the $10 order was literally little leftover bits and pieces. Food was good, inventive but a stretch for the price and portion size. Service was ok, knowledgeable but why do they always recommend the three most expensive entrees as everyone’s favorite ‘must haves’? Sort of shallow, obvious. Wanted to like it more. Stick to their bar next door- Truss & Twine is my advice.
The food was so flavorful and the wine selection was vibrant. From start to finish we were stoked
