Great food and ambiance. Enjoyed our dinner!
The waitress was nice but disconnected and was not quick in checking us for water etc
They were nearly empty when we arrived. Drinks were pretty timely but our food took forever. Pretty sure the fried green tomatoes were frozen and the mashed potatoes were boxed. Meatloaf was edible, but the sauce it was swimming in was not pleasant and there was far too much of it. Prices were reasonable, but the quality of food was very lacking. I won't be back.
Front desk was slow and a little lacking in customer service.
Food cheap and average.
Bill was low, so that was good - not sure if I'll be back, but nice enough.
Great spot in Nashville for a proper sit-down meal with quality food and atmosphere. The history of the building was also fascinating. I wish the video displayed on the way matched the music they played throughout the restaurant. I think it would've added to the ambiance. Their salad portion was wildly huge. I couldn't finish. Great Southern food and the hot chicken is a classic option!
I ordered the salmon. It was bland and the broccolini was bitter. Very disappointed in the food. Will not go back!
I loved the clips playing on the screen. The food was great. The hosts were pleasant. Awesome experience!!
I took my Aunt out for dinner and TPAC performance. The food was amazing!
Fabulous place for a group to meet and enjoy a good meal in a setting with historical significance.
Really enjoyed the dining experience. Recommend the shrimp and grits!
Super nice server and really good food.
Very well done. Nice menu of updated classics, nice service and great vibe. Little noisy but not a detriment to having a great meal. Perfect for picky eaters and foodies to come together.
Great food with an atmosphere rich with history. My short rib pot roast was amazing....would definitely visit again!
The historic importance of this place makes it an amazing place to see, and the food is wonderful.
We have been to Woolworths twice lately and had a good overall experience. The classics are the best options and are consistent. I had the gumbo this visit and it was good, but at $8.99 a little steep for the quantity with no bread or crackers offered. The burgers are good and a good value. It is a great place to go before TPAC.
We enjoyed a very appetizing meal in a reminiscent atmosphere before walking over to the nearby performing art center for an evening concert.
Food was creative, extremely fresh. Decor was open and historic. Service was friendly and accommodating. Going back! Loved it even more than I thought I would. Woolworth salad, gumbo and avocado toast were exceptional.
Second time at Woolworth on Fifth in last month or so and this time with my family. Any place where everyone can get what they want and a toddler can feel comfortable and hip at the same time is a great spot!
Family meal after show at TPAC. Fine experience. Little slow, and little subdued.
Great atmosphere and service. Good was fresh and quality. Highly recommend.
Food was fantastic and so were the drinks. Topped off with excellent service and I’ll be coming back.
This place really surprised me. The food was good and the service was great. I will definitely come back.
The meat loaf and the pot roast were awesome! Love the history and it’s close to everything! Go!
We enjoyed our meal so much!! I can not wait to go back.
Food was below average. Nice atmosphere though
I would have given the service 5 stars but I had to wait 20 min for a black cup of joe I wanted to have w my dessert so- there’s that... but overall super cool spot!
Valentine’s Day went perfect
We enjoyed the 3 course Valentine's Day dinner. It was a good amount of food and we enjoyed every bite.
They brought us water and my glass was dirty, they brought me another water and a bug was in it. The bartender never apologized or told management. The place was empty and the counter was very sticky. I kept thinking how dirty this place was.
We had boozy drinks and split a Reuben with sweet potato fries. Both were good.
Glad I went, probably won’t return.
Poor food and poor service not wanting to do anything to rectify the poor food
This is a wonderful place to visit in general. The food was amazing! The service was awesome. The history in the building is just plain neat to see. A must visit! Both days heard amazing music being performed live!
It was awsome.
I loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. The historical setting is very cool and interesting. My inexpensive burger was meh but the skinny fries were good. I’d go back. But I think they would do well to kick the food up a notch.
Rob, our server is the best! Very friendly and professional.
They have a great menu and every item we have tried has been outstanding. Service is always good. And they usually have a live performer or duo to entertain. Woolworths is our go to place downtown!
Service was great. Not a huge menu, but good variety. Reasonably priced too! And great bloody marys!
Had a great evening with relatives from Austin, TX, love the history here and it was not crowded at all.
Unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience. Even after making a reservation, we had to wait for a table, and were then seated at the worst table in the place. They had a live musician, who was WAY too loud, so we couldn’t even carry on a conversation.
The service was lacking and the steaks were very rare.
One ordered medium and the other medium rare.
