   Went on Mother’s Day . Lovely Sunday lunch and friendly attentive staff . Will definitely go again .

   We waited a long time to order , when the food came the sweet chilli sauce was thrown all over my wifes brand new dress and the onion rings starter was all over the floor,the kids meals that we asked to come with the starter had been finished before the main meal came so we had to purchase more chips for them , there was no chicken and the beef was so tough it must have been cooked the day before , the dog had more meat than we did,we are local but will not be using the woolpack again .

   Not the dining experience we were hoping for the Saturday before Christmas. When entering the pub, which was busy and also due to host a live band, we were shocked that there was only one table set for 4 diners. We expected it to be busy with diners. We did stay for the meal, which was good but it was rather embarrassing being the only diners in a pub full of people enjoying a drink waiting for the band to start! The gentleman who served us was run off his feet as he was waiter, bartender and glass collector! We were contacted earlier that day for our menu choices and this would have been a good time for them to tell us that they didn’t have any other diners booked in and given us the opportunity to cancel.

   We had a reservation made well ahead of time, unfortunately at 08:43am on Sunday morning an email was sent to me on the day of our reservation rescheduling our original booking for an hour earlier. I was also told we couldn’t have Sunday dinner as we originally wanted and just had the option of the standard menu. Unfortunately, I did see this email until around 12:30pm, when I spoke to Tom he was not apologetic, nor did he really care at the inconvenience this had caused up. I explained my oldest child has autism, and she was travelling back from Newcastle with my dad who were both joining me and my youngest child. That the now 3:30pm reservation they wouldn’t make. We had originally booked to have dinner and watch the tractor event that was taking place later that evening. It was an absolute shambles ! We didn’t end up eating we didn’t stay for the tractor event. To be honest I don’t think the staff couldn’t care less, we live locally and have eating in this pub many a times before but definitely wouldn’t return after this experience. The older lady who approached us nearly an hour after us arriving asking if we were ordering food, when we explained no and why she couldn’t have been more unhelpful! No complementary drink or money of a next visit due to their mess up. But as customers if we didn’t turn up for a table or messed around we’d be expected to pay half the bill etc. Luckily at short notice another local pub accommodated up and the service and food were amazing .

   When we got there we were told to sit anywhere despite having booked a table and requesting one with a place to put our pram. The starters took over 30 minutes to arrive but they were really nice. 45 minutes after we ordered I was told they didn’t have any gravy for the sausage and mash so I had to order something else. That came within 15 minutes however I had a steak and wasn’t provided a steak knife, there was only one person serving behind the bar so I couldn’t ask either, so it was really tough to cut. Although the 2 courses for £12.99 deal is good and the food was tasty, I wouldn’t return there for food again.

   Arrived after booking a table to be told they would not be serving food that day. This is the second time this has happened in the two visits to this pub, this will definitely not be happening for a third time, as there won't be a third time. Thank you Woolpack for wasting my time.

   Arrived and notice on door that no food served today. Then told they did have a chef. Then told no Sunday lunch. Staff didn’t seem bothered so left and ate somewhere else. No text no email prior to arriving management total shambles!

   Our favourite pub in the area. Food was excellent tbh for the price we paid, it's really comfortable in there and they have sports on in the background. Customer service is always really good - we've been there a few times since we moved to Yeadon and it's great overall. If we have guests coming to stay with us we'll usually take them there for a pint or two.

    What s lovely pub, great staff, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. The menu was great, lots to chose from and prices were good to. Great deselection for fruity gins. Would definitely recommend.
