Established in 1981 by Rick Small and Darcey Fugman-Small, the winery produces cellar-worthy varietals including merlot, cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. Woodward Canyon has its tasting room situated in a charming restored 1870s farmhouse. Under its roof, you can sample a wide selection of wine. Tasting hours run daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Classic tasting sessions occur all through the week, while reserve tasting falls between Thursdays and Sundays.Located in Lowden, Woodward Canyon Winery is closed during major holidays including Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day. The winery also closes earlier on the days preceding Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve.
