We went for brunch and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! We also ordered bottomless mimosas, which was totally worth it. Their outdoor dining was heated and perfect for the winter. Would highly recommend for brunch (=

This was the first David Burke experience, for me, that was sub-par. Generally the DB restaurants are incredible experiences, and I want to leave an honest review. I am, however, cautious of leaving a poor review because: 1. This is in the height of a pandemic, in NYC; 2. The wait staff was VERY understaffed; 3. We were seated outside in a makeshift dining area (which was actually very neat/comfortable!). The food selections, I can say, we’re not nearly as clever or appealing as Burke’s other spots, and thus that is likely the only legitimate critique I have about Woodpecker that is not due to the pandemic. Try his other spots first!
