Great lunch - amazing server.
We went for brunch and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! We also ordered bottomless mimosas, which was totally worth it. Their outdoor dining was heated and perfect for the winter. Would highly recommend for brunch (=
Amazing food and drinks outdoors! We loved our waitress Mallory!!
Woodpecker was excellent! The bacon line was the best but all the food was great.
I had a great time at brunch with my roommate. Always love the food and service at woodpecker, it’s so great!!
Food was delicious. Went for lunch and really enjoyed what we ordered. Our server was very friendly. Will return again.
Lovely time, good food, nice sized portions and an upbeat atmosphere for brunch!
Excellent service! Fun night. Would recommend the bacon clothesline and ice cream cone dessert.
We were amongst the first people to sit down for dinner on a Friday night. By the end of our meal the whole outdoor patio was packed with people. The pizzas are very good and the wait staff was very friendly.
Very nice for a date night. Waitress didn't know much about the menu though. Food was excellent.
Pasta special was VERY dry.
Nice outdoor set up.
Waitress was very good and attentive
Had a great dining experience. Food was delicious and service was great.
Fab pizza!!! Small but delicious Branzino. Fab tuna appetizer. Great beer choice; don’t drink wine. Noisy on the street. Slightly unfortunate location
Staff were great - some ingredients missing, but hey, it’s COVID times. They comp’d us coffee in the end.
Social distancing was excellent.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! Although, they were out of certain items due to delivery issues, which quite frankly wasn’t their fault, they did accommodate a special order on a particular pizza which was prosciutto and pineapple. The pizza was expertly prepared, the dough was absolutely delicious, and you could taste the Fresh wood burned flavor. A nice surprise also, was that the pineapple was diced which created a fantastic accompaniment to the prosciutto. I look forward to returning and sampling more of the menu when we are in a post Covid environment
10/10 This place has some amazing food and incredible atmosphere. We came here with some friends on a pulsd deal and were really surprised by the high quality. The prosciutto honey pizza has to be one of the best pizzas I've ever had, we almost ordered a second one. It instantly became a hit between the four of us will most likely be a go to spot in the future. If you're dining here, make sure you order a prosciutto honey pizza (or two).
Husband brought me here for a birthday dinner. Outdoor seating was comfortable under a canopy, but on the road in a fenced off area. Waiter was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Husband ordered the special pizza, which he loved, and I had the Bianca, which was amazing. I also had the purple raven gimlet, delicious! I received a complementary birthday dessert that was just the right amount of chocolate and fruit; a wonderful surprise 😊. Overall had a great experience and we look forward to returning!
The restaurant is right in front of my office and I come here often for the awesome pizza. The spicy Hawaiian is the best I've tasted. The tables outside is great seat and the service is always excellent. Highly recommend for casual or business dining.
Their new outdoor patio is set up nicely and the food & service was excellent !!
food was good but the street its on is not very nice looking
Great spot with amazing service
Love the bacon washing line and the fantastic burgers. The service was excellent and attentive.
Pizza was fantastic!
Slightly off-beat neighborhood and the restaurant was very quiet when we visited. May be why a puls'd voucher was available, to make people aware of this spot. Food was excellent (tuna poke, scallops, wood-fired mushrooms & spinach, fettucine with shrimp all very tasty). Table service was fine, but we were disappointed that many menu items were not available, and they were also out of prosecco.
Love David Burke restaurants but food here was very disappointing. Pizza was not good. Steak was mediocre.
Lovely time. Nice place.
Average at best.
the service was impeccable. polite, attentive, just right. The food was delicious well repaired and presented and super creative without going overboard
Me and my wife went to this restaurant the day after Valentines day. At first glance it seemed like a great restaurant and to an extent it did not disappoint. The service was superb, the waiters and staff were on top of things and refilled out water and drinks without having to ask. They provided recommendations and food and drinks came out promptly. My main concern was with the food, we ordered the wings and rings appetizer, the chicken seemed to have been cooked hours ago and had that "not fresh" texture, aside from that, most of it was under cooked and pink on the inside. The rings were OK. I ordered the burger on an English muffin, which had a fine taste, but not good enough for the price. Wife had a pasta with shrimp and wasn't blown away. I probably wouldn't be coming back to this restaurant and honestly its a one and done unless the food quality improves. Either that or just drop the prices to better reflect whats being consumed.
I went on Valentine's Day w/ my gf, They offered a prix fix menu, which meant a departure from the normal full menu options :(
3 courses (app + entree + dessert) w/ glass of champagne for $75/person. Felt like an OK value. Both apps we ordered were very good, the tuna crudo was a stand out for the generous portion of tuna and it was delicious. The entrees proved to be a hit and miss experience. My gf ordered the halibut was very good, however, I ordered the pork chop w/ clams casino, def a unique combination of items. I was expecting a thick cut bone-in pork chop, but to my disappointment, it was a very thin piece of pork and not a very generous cut. It was prepared and cooked in an Italian sausage & peppers style prep which surprised me as well. Buyer's remorse and wish I had ordered the filet mignon :(
Lastly, the dessert was also a hit and miss. Their famous chocolate cheesecake popsicles came w/ only 3 in the order which was disappointing. I order the macarons which were very good and plentiful quantity.
So, all in all, w/ only having 2 drinks each, given it cost $260 total for dinner for both of us, just an OK experience and value.
Took my fiancé for a Anniversary/Valentines day dinner. It was a $75.00 pre-fix meal with a glass of champagne.
My finance had the Tuna Crudo (That was ok) and I had the steamed angry lobster dumplings (That was ok). For the Mains, she had the Lobster Ravoli (That was ok) and I had the WOODFIRE ROASTED PORK CHOP (awful)... The pork chop was small and thin. A ton of cabbage, watercress and who puts calms casino on a pork chop! Obviously, David Burke.... We also had two sides ROASTED MARBLE POTATOES and the Brussel Sprouts (That was ok).
Desert was ok, we had the RASPBERRY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE and the CHOCOLATE DIPPED CHEESECAKE POPS.
Plus two cocktails.
Our waitress was great and very attentive.
The bill came and it was totally not worth the $250.00 dollar price tag. To be honest, it left a bad taste in my mouth because I expected a lot more from a David Burke restaurant.
Don’t waste your time!
Food was excellent. Service was slow but our waitress was over seated. No complaints.
Highly recommended and absolutely loved it
The service was great. I loved the interior of the space. I had high expectations for the steak and while it was a quality cut of meat, prepared at the right temperature (medium) the seasoning/crust/flavor was not there. The sauce that it was plated on did not have a good flavor. The bread starter was really tasty. Enjoyed the fries. The cauliflower was my favorite part of the meal.
It was really good meal. We got the tuna crisp to start (amazing) and I had the special which was cod wrapped in bacon with Parmesan polenta. No complaints about the meal and would go back!
Good brunch with thoughtful staff. WE went early on a Saturday so the noise level was great and they played good music.
Staff was a little green, but friendly and able to get answers (it was restaurant weekend so the menu had some specialty items/deals). Food was delicious and portions were strong - typical David Burke if you have been to any of his other restaurants. Definitely get the crispy chicken!
We had a Monday evening meal at the bar. Great service, nice ambiance, super nice manager. We will be back. Place has space for private events. Food is yummy.
Dull environment recently ‘renovated’ but actually appeared that DB was simply removing some interesting items of value (signed pizza paddles, for example).
Originally shown to a table in a dark and quirky side room where no one was seated. Politely asked for a table in the main dining room and was accommodated.
The burgers were average at best. The Hippy Fries were inedible as they were likely sitting under a heat lamp far too long.
Our waiter was pleasant and attentive.
I would not return as there is nothing remotely remarkable about the restaurant or the food.
The meal and service were very average. Overall, despite a few of our diners having a good appetizer and enjoying the pizza, most felt the quality of the food was sub par. Overall, the quality was inconsistent for non-pizza entrees and the consensus was not to return.
My fault for waiting too long to make a reservation, but Woodpecker was close and available at the time we needed.
The menu looked very solid.
The execution of all of the dishes were terrible.
The octopus was slimy and awful.
The lamb meat balls and pasta were cold and flavorless.
Would not go back.
There’s a reason they had open tables while everyone else was slammed.
