Woodlands American Grill Ratings and Reviews
I would like to give this restaurant a better review. However, this is my third visit to Woodlands and I will probably not go back. It's not the bad quality; my salad was good. It's just lack of substance in the salad. I had the smoked trout salad for the second time. The problem with the salad is that the smoked trout was MIA. There was hardly any trout on the salad and what was there was in shredded pieces. The salad had avocados, also MIA, with small insignificant diced bits. I really expect an $18 salad to have significant portions of the named ingredients.
Service was very attentive. Menu selection was terrific. Both my wife and I ordered a fish dinner. While both were good they were unfortunately delivered lukewarm.. The presentation and accompaniments were good, but both seemed to miss the mark a bit on flavor. We will return but will try something else next go around.
Excellent all the way around. Food is prepared exactly as requested and service is impeccable. (Ask for Iris! She’s quick, friendly and fun and doesn’t miss anything.) The Brie is appetizer is the best in the area. We order two for a table of 5, and there are no leftovers. Great dining experience.
