Woodlands American Grill
Flowers at the table and a wonderful dessert made for a memorial birthday🎉 thanks!
Excellent food and excellent service with Iris.
It was a great Valentine’s Day.
It is a nice place but almost every dish has maple glazing or mushrooms and I hate both and I hate being picky and asking to modify dishes. It was really tuff for my wife and I to order. The big thing wasn't the ordering either for us, it was the atmosphere, we were the only ones outside of workers in there under 65-70+. I get everyone's got to eat but market it that way if that is what it is.
Perfect Valentine’s Day experience!
Iris is wonderful and the Chef made sure all items were gluten free for me. On such a busy night, we really appreciated the attention to detail.
Can’t heard yourself think!!!!!!!! Otherwise 5 star
Good food and service in a modern decor. Reservations advised for Sunday brunch. Parking close limited.
most everything was very good as usual but did have an issue with one food order...lady attendant ask if my mate wanted the blueberries mixed in the pancakes and she said yes but also wanted an extra side of blueberries and they came without blueberries in the pancakes but they were remade in short order.......this stuff happens but shouldn't so just wanted you to know,.....look forward to visiting again soon.....
We love Woodlands! Great food all the time and great service! The manager, John is just amazing and runs a great place that we all love and always come back to. Just can't go wrong here! Everything perfect!
It seemed to take a look time to get our food
We ordered a variety of appetizers to share and all were good. Pretty good place to have a business luncheon. For lunch it’s a good idea to make a reservation as it gets quite crowded.
Delicious as always - love the ahi tuna nachos! A great place to meet a friend because we can hear each other!
One of my favs! Love the food. I have had cancer and eating is difficult for me, and the chef is so accommodating! Makes food I can eat! Blessings!
Excellent! We were a party of 5 who all ordered different items and everyone was very happy with their dish. Appetizers also delicious! We don't live in Dallas, but next time we are there weI will return!
Lunch with a friend who is soft spoken. Wrong choice of location, as the restaurant is very noisy. The sever was pleasant and efficient but almost too efficient. She appeared to whisk away our plates and leave the check as we were still chewing out last bites.
The food here is always good!
I wife and I went to Woodlands on a recent Wednesday evening when they have half-price wines by the glass for some of their selections. We were promptly seated at a table and the overall service was very good. I selected a chicken Cordon Bleu and it was very good. My wife had a salmon plank salad and it was also very good. We save room for a dessert to share and selected the mixed berry cobbler which was served with ice cream and it was a nice end to a very nice meal. It was pretty crowded giving the half price wine promotion so I suggest you get a reservation before arriving.
I never had anything I didn't like at Woodlands. Michael is a gem and we try to get his section every time we go.
Service was terrible. Over one hour to get dinner. Service person didn’t bring water till 6:15
She came back 25 minutes after after we asked for her. She was busy serving drinks to a party larger than our two
Wish we felt like this was a neighborhood gem, but it’s just never lived up to that. I’ve visited several times, lunch & dinner, & I’ve never had a memorable meal or experience here. It’s always ‘fine,’ but there are too many good choices in Dallas to have settle for ‘fine.’
One of the regrettable and I believe risky experiences is when you have to send an entree back. Still sometimes you just have to do it. This happened on Friday. My wife and I both ordered the special which was a gorgonzola encrusted filet. We ordered medium rare+. I first pressed on mine and then did a single cut and on its best day it was blue rare. I mean the center was not even warm. What sets this apart is the way that the staff handled it. While my issue was clear (And somewhat blue), they were sincerely apologetic and we soon got correctly cooked steaks. What could have been a mess actually resulted in a very good experience. The steaks were actually outstanding. I would put them again any that I have even eaten and I have been fortunate enough to enjoy some great experiences. Plus to the Woodlands.
I’ve been here many times and will return.sracy was an excellent server and gave us. I hassle when we decided to share a sandwich. She even split our meal. Love the chocolate that comes with the bill.
Always perfection. Dru and Archer (and servers) are flawless.
Excellent service and food
Service and food were excellent!
Woodlands is always a winner.
We ate here Sunday night. Very pretty surroundings. Mom had the tortilla soup and said it was good, she was glad she'd gotten the bread service. I had the French Dip sandwich. SO much food! The sandwich was huge and came with lemon-rosemary fries, but those flavors were absent. Still the fries were hot and crispy. I am not a fan of horseradish, so the aioli did nothing for me it was SO heavily flavored with horseradish. The beef jus was delicious. I took home half my sandwich and the jus and had it for lunch the next day.
The food was okay. The wine list for glasses is not very good.
The waiter could have been friendlier. Seemed in a bad mood and impatient.
After several visits we stopped going due to poor service and food quality. We tried again nearly six months later and this will be the last visit. The service was horrible for a party of 2. We were sat at the bar and it took nearly 10 minutes to get a drink order in. 20 minutes later the waiter came back and asked if we wanted appetizers. The waiter was sweating and poorly kept. He looked overworked. The bread was hot, very little flavor. The cream of mushroom soup was flat and dull. The conversations around us were loud and vulgar. The prices of the menu are definitely not worth the experience.
We had a lovely lunch. Service was great as was food. Had Aubergine stew....yum! Nice atmosphere.
The food is always good but a bit pricey compared to other restaurants with similar dishes
Nice wine list
The service is usually very good
Good food. Prices a touch high
Great service and ambiance. The chicken on my salad was dry. I've had the same before but had forgotten and ordered the same thing. Will try something different next time.
We try to sit in Stacy's station. She's been there a long time, knows her customers' preferences and is the absolute best!
Great for drinks only on 1/2 price wendsday
Eat before you go
This is a very nice neighborhood restaurant. Lots of good choices, including healthy options.
Food took 26 minutes after our soup course. Long for lunch
