In light of the latest advice released by the Government today we have unfortunately had to take the difficult decision to close our doors from Tuesday 17th March for the duration of the current Coronavirus pandemic.

Whilst we understand this may be disappointing or inconvenient, we believe we have a responsibility to our staff and customers to help prevent the spread of this virus.

We are not currently able to give a definitive date for re-opening but will keep our loyal customers updated.

All bookings will be contacted directly by the venue management to arrange any refunds due.

We look forward to welcoming back our customers when circumstances allow.

    Best Sunday roast I have Ahmad anywhere in Edinburgh. Fantastic atmosphere. Really quirky and interesting. Love the wee beer garden. Will definitely be back :)

    I have the loveliest time. The food was delicious (the beef short rib was one of the best roasts I've eaten in Edinburgh) Every team member we encountered was warm, friendly and beyond helpful and it was a most welcoming spot for lunch when you have 2 toddlers in tow!

    Unfortunately we found the food to be quite disappointing- in particular the flatbread which was luke warm and the burger was overcooked. I’ve been here before when it’s been less busy and the food was great but unfortunately it was very busy and this impacted on the quality of the food

    We went for all you can eat mac and cheese Mondays and it was amazing! The staff were lovely. Menu was great otherwise and good selection of drinks.

    Food was excellent, portions were generous enough that we could not even finish everything! The staff were friendly welcoming and engaging. Pleasant experience all round, we will be back.

    Met up with friends for an Easter lunch. The roast dinners were beautiful - both meat and vegan versions. The staff are really friendly and accommodating and the pub itself is a really lovely space.

    Our second visit for the Sunday roast. Really delicious. Throughly enjoyed by all six of us. Very friendly staff. Very nice touch that the chef comes out to ask if we are happy with everything. Great cocktails too.
