Who would have thought there would be such good food at a Holiday Inn? The Mrs. and I were very pleasantly surprised. Filet and grilled Salmon were perfect! The restaurant wasn't busy, which made it really pleasant. The young lady that served us was quite lovely. Frankly, it was a very pleasant surprise and if you're coming to Asheville and just don't want to struggle to find a good, quiet place to eat and have to drive to (if you're staying at the Hotel), this is the place!!

Our service was excellent. Our server was multitasking like crazy. Waiting tables, clearing tables and trending bar. She checked back with us frequently. The food was amazing. Best Fila.

Very poor experience, made reservations 3 hours in advance and they didn’t acknowledge my reservation once I got to the restaurant. Waitress stated she didn’t know how online reservations worked and turned us away. I would not recommend this restaurant, very unprofessional.

This "restaurant" is in a hotel lobby. It seemed silly to make a reservation at a Holiday Inn, but we were pleasantly surprised! The room was very cozy and the service was great. The food was way better than I expected based on location. We were very happy.

We loved this place….. clean, stylish! Don’t know how this hidden gem is not packed?! One had the filet which was cooked perfectly and another had the salmon—delicious! The wood grill flavor was not too strong… just right!

The location was hard to find if one is not familiar with Asheville. There should be a sign visible from Rte 70. Food was good but several menu items and wine selections were not available. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and offered good, responsive service. The food was also very good.

Based on previous good reviews, I was anticipating a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is great even though the restaurant is in a hotel. Very quiet and easy to carry on a conversation. The food was good but nothing spectacular! Our server was not very attentive- in fact my Husband had to chase her down in the dining room on her way back to the kitchen for a refill- even though she had clearly saw we needed refills when she brought our food and acknowledged she would bring us some. We waited at least 10 or 15 minutes- she actually left the restaurant came back and never looked our way. It was not a busy time either. The other server was the opposite and was ver attentive to her tables. If we had gotten her as our server it would have been a much nicer experience! With so many other options available- I will probably not be returning to this restaurant.

The ambiance was very nice, it was quiet since not a lot of people were at the restaurant. With that being said, service was slow with the waitress only checking on us twice. The food was pretty good, though it compares to chain restaurant like TGIFriday's or Chile's. I would only recommend this place if you can't get in somewhere else.

We were visiting from out of town & I found this restaurant online as it was close to our hotel and they served lamb chops so I was excited to go there. We drove past it a couple times because it was actually inside of the Holiday Inn AND they did NOT have lamb chops! Ended up eating overpriced salmon. Will not return

They just changed ownership. This may be why our very poor review is not like all the others who gave excellent reviews. We tried it out for restaurant week. Service was pleasant. Food was so bad, we wish we could give them 1/2 or zero stars. - Chicken wings were over done. - Salad greens had freezer burn. - Steak was 1/3 fat. Plus the "medium well" was only on the outside. Looks like they precook the steak and just burn the outside to the level you want. What meat was between all the fat was red! - The fish was overcooked. - We had early reservations and they were already out of their #1 dessert. The other dessert was bland. Hope they rise to the level of the other good reviews. However, we will not give them another try to find out.

The food was really good, however, we ordered filets and the waitress put my husband's order in for Medium Well, when he asked for well done, and I sat and ate my dinner practically separate from my husband by time his steak got back to the table on New Years Eve.

A tad hard to find (only because I didn't look super close) as it is part and parcel with a hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised with the service, food and quality - they definitely hold up against other WoodFires that we have dined at. We were able to eat Christmas dinner there (thank you!) and the special (which we both had) was great (taste, portions, components and value). We will be back!

The hotel that the restaurant is in was very nicely decorated for Christmas. That is the best I can say. I ordered a NY strip steak and it was pretty thin and I would rate it fair at best. My wife ordered a salad and it was good in her words. All in all, I wouldn't go back. Your eating in the hotel bar and the food and ambiance is not worth it. FYI, we were not staying in the hotel. If we did stay in the hotel, I'd leave to eat somewhere else.

This is a hidden gem. Tucked away at the Holiday Inn, this quiet yet unassuming restaurant serves food better than any 5 star restaurant I’ve visited. The service was excellent. The food was exemplary. I had the Atlantic Salmon and it was cooked to perfection. My side item was a summer mix of squash, zucchini and grilled onions. Our server was very attentive and continued to thank us for coming in and told us that the restaurant was one of Asheville’s best kept secret. I concur. We will definitely return upon our next visit!

Had a hard time finding the restaurant. Extremely glad I did, experience was awesome. Not normally a NY Strip person so I was a little skeptical about ordering it but as the waitress mentioned it was wonderful. Researched places in Asheville to eat and this one definitely lived up to previous reviews. Absolutely would go back!

It's a Steakhouse that isn't a Steakhouse at all... The menu that is given to customers at the restaurant is vastly different than their online menu. No steaks, no ribs, no salmon, no shrimp and pasta. Just a burger, chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. If they have a "Limited menu", they need to update their website. I went here with my wife for an Anniversary dinner and was very disappointed.

Okay....This place is in a Holiday Inn! We made a reservation not knowing this and when I pulled up to it, I was almost going to pass. Then I noticed all the locals going in there and I thought...Hmmmmm, maybe this place is good. We hauled are starving and exhausted butts into this place, and low and behold, it was pretty darn good. We opted for some salads, burgers, BLT and my buddy got the ribs. All of our food was excellent, hot and fresh. The libations were good also. Lesson learned....

I’m only giving a 4 star because the chocolate martini was good. Ambiance and food very misleading. Come on it’s a restaurant at the Holiday Inn Express. Would go back for another chocolate martini but that’s it. Bar food is stretching it.

My sister has one of these in the Columbus, Ohio area and recommended trying it while we were in the area. Food was good and the service was very good. We don’t have any in Texas yet but if they come to Texas we will be back.
