Excellent Mother’s Day Brunch. Wide assortment of food and it was all very tasty. Very engaging and attentive staff. We will be back!
Woodbury's just gets it. Great food, atmosphere, and service. It's Art Decco decore and music make it a very period experience. It really feels like a special occasion when you are there. Tops in the area without a doubt.
Great experience the ambiance was really nice. Looking forward to seeing you next weekend!
Riley blew us away! His general service, recommendations and interaction were superb!! The good was very delicious also, along with the drinks, but Riley really made the experience. Would have liked to have an option for our 4 year old to eat. We called to make sure it was kid friendly and were disappointed in that area.
Two of our four dinners were sent back because they were undercooked.
The steak needed seasoning. The pork chop was over cooked tough and dry. Over priced for what you get. $40 meat and salad. The waitress Haley was phenomenal.
Our food was delicious. Service was slow but very friendly. Based on cost, this will be a special occasion choice for us.
Wonderful ambiance in the restaurant. Server was attentive and very nice. Excellent food. Would go again for another special occassion.
Good food but the value wasn't there. Expensive in my opinion and lacked some flavor. Some food was late to arrive. For example, got our bread way after our appetizer and in the middle of our salad dish. And no olive oil which I saw other tables receive. Also told we could sub our salad for any other side and then were upcharged $5 to $10 on the bill. That is frustrating when the entrees are already quite expensive. Also from getting there to leaving took 2.5 hours even with a reservation.
Super amazing meal AND staff! Kudos to Jennifer (mngr on duty).
Nice ambiance, awesome green beans and carrots, mashed potatoes good, steaks good but slightly under seasoned. Salad fresh but a little underdressed. Overall a nice dinner out in a beautiful setting!
Great food. Quiet atmosphere. Definitely a place to come regularly!
Short staffed. We were there for 2 hours and no entree. Late for the show we had tickets for....service was good but the wait was terrible. Staff better please. It was a Friday night and not busy. Will try again in the future but not soon.
It was the first time my kids (17 & 18) have joined me at, what would be considered a nicer restaurant here in town. As the director for Dowtown Partners, they humor me consistently by coming to the latest and greatest thing we’ve got going on. So when they loved the food, the company and the epic awesomeness of the place, it was a mom-win🙌
The food was good-happy to see the new menu. We were sat along the wall of booths and it was very dark and difficult because every server walked by your back. There were many table open we should have asked to be moved otherwise great meal.
Beautiful space and very clean! Hostess and waiter were sweet.
Inattentive bar staff, not greeted once seated at the bar, difficult to pay our bar tab.
Once seated at our table, our server did a nice job of communicating. He handled himself well as he was the only server and one wait staff!!!
Hard bread was brought to our table with flavorless olive oil and no appetizer plates. Appetizer brought out...again no plates.
Had to check with bar staff for additional drinks. Wine selection less than mediocre. I expect higher quality wines and appetizer selections for the price. Waiter and server did keep our waters full.
Main entree mediocre. Brussels sprouts were good and I’m pretty sure the garlic mashed potatoes were of the instant variety and watered down. For the price per entree, we expected a lot more and better quality.
Desserts were very good. We had the chocolate lava cakes and creme brûlée.
Overall, very disappointed with quality of food, food options, wine selections, overall prices, and inattentive bar staff.
Happy with the ambiance, our waiter and the desserts were delicious.
It’s obvious the steakhouse is wanting a certain clientele to dine at Woodbury’s, however several improvements need to be made for said clientele to return. Thank you.
Exquisite food with fantastic service! The ambiance was just amazing!! Beautiful hotel!
Lovely! First week with new menu/ala carte so a little bumpy. Overall great. Servers learning- give them a break. Halibut excellent. The Twin Bing mousse is highly recommended and I HATE twin bings but the server made me try and it was outstanding. I will order again. The view from the future rooftop bar is really amazing. I felt like I was in a much more metro setting and that is hard to do in Siouxland. Give it a try!
Great new venue in Sioux City for a great meal in a wonderful restored hotel downtown. Great food with alot of variety on the menu. Good customer service. They make you feel special.
Great place! Service & food excellent!! A little spendy BUT it was a great choice to go on a special occasion.
Delicious Brunch! Attentive staff! Beautiful venue!! So happy to have The Warrior and Woodbury’s as an option in our community!
Food was excellent but it was too loud to hold a conversation.
Food and service were excellent. I encourage anyone in Siouxland to check it out.
Most disgusting food. Sauces and chorizo taste like it’s out of a can and wine selection is terrible.
Everything was fabulous from start to finish! Our server was new but she was very kind and knowledgeable. She was there at the right times, but not too much. She will be a great asset to the team. Food was phenomenal! I had the mussels, Caesar salad, scallops, and the creme brûlée. Fiancé had tuna, Caesar salad, walleye, and creme brûlée. I don’t think you could’ve improved on any dishes. We were both very impressed with the walleye. We figured it would be good but we were blown away by it! Thanks for the wonderful dinner! I should also mention the manager stopped by and chatted for a bit. We enjoyed the conversation! He was great!
