About Wolf's Ridge Brewing

Wolf's Ridge Brewing is a family owned and operated craft brewery and restaurant, created as a result of our long and deepening love for both craft beer and food. Wolf's Ridge Brewing was born through the deep desire of the owners to create a gathering space for other craft beer and food lovers in the downtown Columbus community. Our goal is to build a microbrewery and restaurant that becomes a proud member of the community, where we provide our patrons with a wonderful dining and drinking experience.

The concept is centered on the idea that by focusing on craft and locally sourced products as much as possible, we are staying true to our primary goal of supporting and emulating the community in which we reside.

Had a little post-holiday dinner with friends. We all decided to do the winter tasting menu & had not one regret. Beautiful presentation, informational description of each course & very delicious food pairings.

An informed staff that were very approachable and helpful as we navigated GF friendly options and there were many. Dinner was fantastic, can't say about the curry chicken. Pre-dinner cocktails showcased their amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail using old school liquors with modern flare. Again, we asked questions about things that were new to us and they kindly educated us without a hint of arrogance.

Food was fantastic. Service was ok, not what I would expect for the price. Not a quiet romantic place to go with your significant other. Great to go with friends.

We loved our experience at Wolfs Ridge. We made a reservation for New Yesrs eve and the food though a bit on the expensive side was phenomenal! Our waitress was excellent and not one time did we feel rushed our entire evening. We spent 2 hours in the restraunt area and about 2 hours in the Tap Room just hanging out enjoying ourselves. We recommend it to everyone we know, and have visited the tap room several times over the last year. This was our first visit into the dining room, and we have already planned our next trip back!

We had a reservation for 5pm and received a reminder phone call since it was a holiday. We arrived a few minutes early and all of the employees were in the back of the restaurant. I think we stood at the front door for an uncomfortable 10 minutes and they just stood there and looked at us from the back of the restaurant. Then a woman came to the front and I thought we would get seated. Nope. She just pulled a couple tables apart and organized some more and attended to us less. Finally after 15 minutes we were seated. They had three options per course since it was a holiday. The portion size was small for the first course. I have no idea what it was but it tasted like I was eating grass freshly cut in your backyard. Then came the Risotto. It was a little better but I wasn't "wowed" with the taste. The desert was "smores" and it was richer than Donald Trump. I think I needed a shot of insulin just to eat half of it. Then was the bill: $140 for the two of us. I thought the sub zero weather would kill us that night but the bill came pretty close. After paying the bill we got up to leave and there were two women dressed at the door. After forking out $140 for the meal on a busy night do you think they'd say "goodnight" or "thank you, have a good evening". Nope. They just stood and looked at us.

This was by-far the most disappointing eating experience I've had in Columbus. They had lots of opportunities to be welcoming and have a good eating experience but just like Cleveland Browns 0-16 season, it was disappointing in the end.

I ordered pig cheeks for my husband. It was very good. We had a 7:00pm reservation and the halibut was sold out. We wanted a red Italian wine. (We have all been to Italy). The server told us that all the reps liked a specific one. I ordered it. Yuk. $105 for vinegar. It was not worth $10. Plus my croquet was just ok. Nothing special. The Manhattan was ok. I wasn't really impressed with the food or the wine but the service and the ambiance was nice.

If you are looking for a quiet dinner I would not recommend this place only because I do not believe it is set up for it. It’s a definite for a group or for louder occasions. The tables are too close together to have a private conversation or to not hear your neighbors’ life stories.
The food was amazing and craft beers are dynamic. Service was good and the interior decor has a pleasant rustic vibe.

Ordered 2 beers flights. Best beers in my opinion were the coffee vanilla cream ale and the porter. Both had nice hints of coffee. Very good beers. The food was also very good. The menus are seasonal and we ordered off of their winter 2017 menu. The cheddar potato soup is fantastic! The pork cheeks were very tender and flavorful with the garnishes. The bratwurst was a little dry but still very flavorful. The sage gnocchi was interesting with powerful flavors and very good. I ordered the halibut covered with pumpkin seeds and butternut squash puree. Delicious! My wife ordered the mushroom risotto. It had a very prominent me mushroom flavor. My wife didn't care for it. I liked it. It is a vegetarian dish, so good for non-meat eaters. They have a variety of vegetarian dishes. The dishes were a little pricey, but overall we would go back.

I made reservations for 2 and the staff was very understanding when calling ahead to tell them we were running late because of the poor weather and driving conditions.
The restaurant was not crowded because of those conditions.

The food was amazing with my partner getting the duck and I chose the halibut. Everything was prepared and arrived at our table at the perfect time. I had been to the taproom a couple of times and was excited to eat the entrees and try some of the cocktails. Overall a great experience. Would recommend to anyone

Food is amazing, service was fantastic, but the noise level was much higher than expected. Assuming the noise level was somewhat unique to the timing, Wolf's Ridge now rules this price point in my opinion.

Beer was great, food was even better. The best thing I ate was definitely the gnocchi with smoked beet puree. Service was good despite being very busy. It's very loud and crowded inside, not uncomfortably so, but they could definitely use more room. The prices were a little bit steep, but the food was very high quality so I can't complain.

Enjoyed the beer (Hefeweisen). Had the pork shank and loved it. My wife asked for her Tomahawk pork chop to be medium well which was a mistake on her part. Will definitely go back.

Walked in and whisked right to our table. The wait staff knows the menu and gave great advice. Busy night and they knew how to cover for each other. Shared the confit duck leg. Nice and crispy. Cinnamon on the toast! Liked that the extra plates arrived without asking. Best halibut ever. Cold parsnip puree was a surprise, but it worked. Scallops also a great dish. If you want meat, go for the pork chop. There were four next to us. Huge. Dessert was so-so. Pretty, but not tasty.

This was my 1st visit and our server was outstanding and the beer selection was fantastic! However, I do believe that their food is extremely over priced for the quality. Started with the cheese plate and that was disappointing...don't get me wrong, I LOVE Brie, but that's all you get...2 tiny triangles with a tiny bowl of nuts and little crispy breads. It was delicious, just a huge letdown. I had the jambalaya for my main course and I figured it is a good dish that isn't too complex. It was very dry and overdone, huge disappointment there too. (Great spiciness to it though, loved the flavor!) I just would recommend going for the beer and eat somewhere else before you go. Overall I would NOT recommend for dining, just go for the great beer!

We loved the atmosphere and of course the beer selection. Food was delicious - I ordered the duck and I think it was probably one of the best meals I've had out in months. Service was eh - food came out quickly, which was great cause we had somewhere to be after, but our server could have cared less about us. Never came to check on us, never asked how our food was, refills of water were from someone else. Menu is definitely on the pricey side - for 2 beers, our food and tip was over $100 for two of us - for that price, I'd like someone to ask how our food is - and maybe act like you care that we're there.

The meal was excellent, as always. Our server Lila was very attentive - kudos to her.
Though I've been to Wolf's Ridge many times and will continue to return for dinners or brunch, I find the sound level is way too loud for me to consider using the restaurant for business meals with clients.

This was our first visit after hearing it was a great place to eat. The food was excellent and the beer of course. Our server was just ok. Thankfully there were others that took care of filling our drinks etc. But at times we were waiting on an ordered cocktail or water to be refilled. Aside from the server issues the meal and ambiance were fantastic.

Awesome experience! I celebrated my birthday here with friends this past weekend. The service was phenomenal considering we had a large group. Everyone was very nice. I always love their brunch and this time I tried the Cuban Benedict, which was excellent. Even though it’s a brewery, the wine selection is great too. I love the plant wall too!

I'd eaten brunch at Wolf's Ridge over a year ago and enjoyed it enough that we decided to give it a try for dinner while back in Columbus. Their beers are very good, and the food was delicious.

We ate in the dining room, which has a trendy, fairly casual atmosphere. Service was decent but could have been better.
