Wolf's Ridge Brewing is a family owned and operated craft brewery and restaurant, created as a result of our long and deepening love for both craft beer and food. Wolf's Ridge Brewing was born through the deep desire of the owners to create a gathering space for other craft beer and food lovers in the downtown Columbus community. Our goal is to build a microbrewery and restaurant that becomes a proud member of the community, where we provide our patrons with a wonderful dining and drinking experience.

The concept is centered on the idea that, by focusing on craft and locally sourced products as much as possible, we are staying true to our primary goal of supporting and emulating the community in which we reside.     Wolf-s Ridge, a block away from MadLab Theatre, was a great Open Table find for us. I loved the dining room menu and friendly fast service so much I came back the next week with different friends. I plan on trying the downstairs pub the next time I'm in Columbus.

    Overall, my hubby and I enjoyed having brunch there. The service was good and the food was not bad. I enjoyed Shakshouka more than my hubby did his Korean chicken sandwich. I enjoyed the flavor of my dish but I would have enjoyed it more if there were more pita bread. Their brunch menu offers some familiar and some exotic dishes which sounded very interesting. After eating, we went down to the taproom and my hubby had a beer since the restaurant does not off as many varieties of beer on tap as the taproom does. The taproom had relaxing atmosphere. For sure, we will go back for brunch soon again!

    Breakfast pierogis were excellent. Great idea. Inexpensive beers. Good cocktails. Burnt ends hash with black bean purée was a miss unfortunately. Good thought just poorly executed.

    It was a nice meal, the server was excellent. The food was okay, but many superior options nearby. The beer was alright but equal to any of the numerous competitors nearby. Service was great. Won’t be going back.

    We had not been thrilled with the food on our last few visits but our friends suggested it so we went along. The food was very bland and there were not many good options on the menu. The chef appears to be afraid of spices. We will never go again unless it is for drinks only!

    Our servers were GREAT! Food took a little longer but we do understand the individual nature of the preparation of each dish. Pad Thai and Duck Breast were phenomenal.

    Food was great and Joel did a great job as our server. We had the smelt which was a nice fried appetizer. For entrees we had the walleye and the pork cheeks - portion sizes were good and we both enjoyed our meals. The beer is obviously always solid - really liked the lemon and ginger cream ale.

    The service was impeccable, as were the cocktails and starters. (The big winner was the fried smelt, I will definitely come back just for that.) Unfortunately both of our main entrees lacked flavor and seasoning. The walleye was cooked correctly but lacked any semblance of salt. I’ve never had pork cheeks so bland. So, overall, good service, good drinks, good appetizers. I will come back for a snack at the bar.

    We’ve been many times for brunch, but never for dinner and it was amazing! We loved everything we orders of the menu. That tomahawk pork with za'atar *chef’s kiss*. My partner isn’t into sweets so they ordered the Carrot Tartar for dessert while I had the Coconut Panna Cotta. Thank you so much for the bday champagne and a wonderful birthday dinner. We ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ you guys!

    Really good . Great local spot for dining , taproom and for drinks ! From beers to cocktails and sours . Nice patio for brunch and afternoon drinks too Highly recommend . I’ve been countless times and never have had a bad meal or drink . They do free samples too . Well known for their coffee beer .

    Everyone we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. Everything from the beer we had to the cocktails to the food were high quality , well presented and delicious. Long time guests, will always recommend to everyone.

    Wolf's Ridge was, for my money, the best Restaurant in town for many years. Bold & complex dishes with amazing flavor. Just went back after not having been since the start of Covid, and was seriously disappointed. Most dishes were passable, but one note, lacking a lot of the complexity they had previously. Ended up getting Walleye as my main course (a favorite of mine, having spent a lot of time in & around Lake Erie), and it was quite dull. But more than that, I ended up encountering 5 or 6 bones while eating it, which more than anything, was kinda the straw that broke the camel's back. You can't be serving bony fish as a main course, especially lake fish in Ohio! Really disappointing. The Tap Room is still fun & affordable, but I can't see myself ever eating in the dining room again, which is a real bummer.

    Value for the money was poor. Service wasn’t great, the dining room seemingly had 1-2 servers which weren’t very responsive. The pork chop was bland. Flat bread with burrata and summer vegetables was lacking flavor and texture.

    Such an excellent Father’s Day experience! Our waitress Gabi was exceptional- she took care of one person at our table with seafood and shellfish allergies with such grace and care! The menu offered great choices and the special brunch items were perfect choices for our family. We’ve never had anything but great food here but now we will dine here more often and ask for Gabi- she is amazing!

    Great food and service. We have enjoyed every experience we have had, including this visit. We enjoyed great cocktails, one of the best summer salads we’ve ever had, and a delicious Walleye entree.

    Literally everything the menu was bitter. The ideas were there but the execution was lacking. The ambience and the staff were great but the restaurant experience itself needs a reevaluation. Beer is great.

    Excellent service!! The space was used for a bridal shower. The Staff was very helpful- getting decor up and office supplies for set up. As far as food goes - amazing! Everyone was very pleased with the selections. I had the Scotch Eggs 🍳 they are amazing on a plate of hash. Matt & I will have to come back for a date haha; thank you so much!

    Very disappointed with the food at Wolf’s Ridge. Over-salted beet salad, cold pasta, incredibly small portions for exorbitant prices. I’m so sad because WR was a place we had loved. The atmosphere and service were stellar, but the food was nothing like it used to be in terms of portion & flavor. I would have filled up on bread and butter had it been offered. Very strange to have spent a fortune and gone home hungry. Maybe I’ll just stay on the tavern side next time.

    Every time we come here we are blown away. The quality of food is outstanding!!!! Happy to join for brunch this time around. I had the smoked salmon Benedict. I’m usually not a big fan of smoked salmon, but this was incredible. And the cocktails are worth every penny. Everything served here is obviously very carefully curated and executed. Highly recommend!

    We were looking forward to dining here as we’d heard good things and we were sadly very disappointed. The beer flights were good, however the food was not great at all, particularly for the price. My husband ask how fatty was the pork belly entree and based on the server’s answer decided to try it and it was not at all to his liking. I couldn’t find an entree I really liked so I ordered a salad and two starters. The mushroom starter was not at all what I expected and I didn’t care for it, and the veggie tartine was good but the bread it was on was so charred that it just tasted burnt and I couldn’t eat it. Another friend in our party ordered the quail and didn’t think it was very good. So, overall we did t enjoy our dinner and will not go back to the restaurant again.
