Everything was amazing other then being yelled from the host for not having my mask on. We had literally just opened the door from walking off the street to the restaurant and was getting my mask out of my purse to put on and she chastised me instantly. Once I got to my table I took off my mask off right before I sat down and she literally yelled at me from across the restaurant. It was so humiliating and really unprofessional.
Everything from the cocktails thru to dessert was outstanding and incredibly thoughtful. An absolutely delightful culinary experience!!
We have really enjoyed Wolf’s Ridge in the past. Also realize the pandemic has been hard on restaurants; our recent experience at best was mediocre. I had the blackened walleye and my wife had the cauliflower steak. Both were misguided. On the bright side, the peaches and cream desert and service were noteworthy.
Wish you would cook the cauliflower steak for longer. The center was hard to cut and eat. That should be totally eatable
Everything was very enjoyable. A little surprised by how much it cost for two but that’s more of my fault. Definitely recommend.
The restaurant has taken steps to provide more privacy, replacing the large dining hall style tables with smaller groupings and some very cool curved wooden dividing walls. Much more intimate experience and helped to cut the noise a bit. Menu was creative, as always. Watermelon salad and pork chop were outstanding. Branzanio was a solid choice. The mussels were large, but the meal was not memorable - broth could be much better. Pate was average.
The food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommend the mezcal pineapple cocktail. We had a great date night, worth the trip.
Service was excellent. Food and drinks were great, although a touch expensive. Will definitely be back
Loved this place, went for Sunday Brunch and everything was outstanding! Highly recommend starting with the donut holes and Chantilly. They wee warm and cinnamon and sugary and melted in your mouth.
Our server was great; however the food was a bit heavy-handed. The menu looked wonderful, but the execution didn't quite hit the mark. Husband's fish was not hot and grits were under-seasoned and lacked flavor. My fish was hot, but one too many strong flavors on the plate and would have appreciated a simpler plating, so I could see what I was eating.
Good food, ales so so, very overpriced, hence lower “value” score….
The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic! I would highly recommend!
We hadn't been to Wolf Ridge for a while - but were as satisfied as always. Appetizers were well prepared and favorable - the steak tartar could have had cracked pepper, but I didn't ask. Drinks great. I had the duck and my wife the steak. Always a beautiful presentation and a mixed of flavors that blended so well together. Dessert of the blueberry-lemon was really the right way to finish off a great experience. Only comment is that due to COVID, sitting was limited, but was all along the one wall. We thought it would have been better to pull every other table out to the center to provide more room for the patrons. Felt like we were in on the conversation of the people on each side of us - there is plenty of space to do that. Still recommend as the uniqueness and blending of flavors is exceptional. Don't pass this place up - come for the beer but stay for the food
Our first time back for brunch since Covid. Menu is much smaller. Food was good. Bring back the cold- brew cocktail!
All around great brunch experience
Great food, service, and beer selection…great bourbon selection was a nice bonus. Bourbon and bananas dessert was to die for…we’ll definitely be back when in Columbus.
Food was subpar, not terrible but underwhelming. Especially for the expense. Service was friendly but slow. Overall would not recommend, will not be a repeat customer. They took our beer off the table without asking when it still had beer in it. So disappointing to not be able to finish the last few sips.
As always the food here was excellent. So much flavor, attentively prepared, beautifully presented. The cocktails are also expertly prepared and wine selection is very good. Wolf’s Ridge remains my favorite Columbus restaurant and it was so nice to be back there to eat in person!
Food & Service was good. Would have liked a few more choices. They were also out of several items. Would return once they expand their menu.
Service was amazing. Drinks and food were outstanding. Nothing but great things to say about our experience!
The host, server and staff were excellent. Engaging, knowledgeable, pleasant conversationalists and courteous.
Fantastic dinner with excellent service. It was a bit noisy but mainly due to the exuberant millennial ls at the table next to us.
Delicious, as always! Their beer is some of my favorite
Wolf's Ridge has consistently been one of my favorite go-to place since they opened. Some of the best food around, and this was my first dine-in experience in 16 months!
Great all around experience
This return visit to Wolf’s Ridge was our first following COVID and thus we were excited to share it with two of our best friends. The best description I can provide of the evening was that it was “adequate” and certainly stopped short of the spectacular experience we have had other times. Upon arriving, we were informed that our table was not ready and that we were welcome to visit the taproom. After walking to the taproon and ordering drinks, we were notified that our table was ready. A 3 minute waste of our time. Our waitress, was friendly and informative and disclosed that almost all of the main plate proteins were sold out. At 8:30 on a Saturday night, this is unacceptable. I asked for the pork chop, and she quickly returned stating that it too was sold out. I opted for the salmon, but no measures were taken to even remotely make the dish more special - it was simply take it or leave it. A poor attitude for a restaurant to adopt in these uncertain times. Most of our mixed drinks were quite tasty (props to the mixologist on my delicious mojito) however the white negroni is best described as tasting like someone blended black pepper and cucumber with a white spirit. One of the most acrid and palate-destroying drinks I have ever experienced. I hope to return to find this was a one off experience, but for now, my penchant for mediocre $200 dinners is sadly complete.
This place was the bees knees! Great service, unique and tasty food & great drinks. I’ll be back!
It was a nice time. We appreciated the foam under the table to try and kill noise
Brunch at WRB never disappoints! We make it a point to visit every time we’re in the area. There are no bad choices—everything is delicious. They also have a delicious oat milk cappuccino. The service is also excellent. Best servers and bartenders!
This is the perfect restaurant. The food. The service. It’s all so great.
Good food. Limited menu. My husband thought he left his wallet at the hotel. He took an Uber back to the hotel to get his wallet. It took him quite a while to get back. While he was gone our server never stopped by the table to help look for the wallet, or asked me if I needed anything, or even bothered to refill my water. It was truly one of the most awkward and appalling experiences I have ever had dining. Had anybody bothered to help us look for the wallet, or loaned us a pen light, they would’ve discovered that it was underneath the bench where I was sitting. They called the next day to let us know.
Fantastic dinner. Menu full of interesting choices. Kudos to chef and kitchen for inspired and unusual dishes, presented beautifully. This is what we missed during the pandemic. Also props to the bar… excellent cocktail list. Great servers too.
Nice as always!
Uniquely creative, well prepared meals with a courteous, knowledgeable staff. Wooden benches became uncomfortable after an hour.
Food was just ok. Service was Excellent. Dessert was fantastic. I had the lemon blueberry cheesecake ice cream selection.
Wolf's Ridge has always had great food and an awesome selection of drinks! This visit did not disappoint when entertaining out of towners! Dropping the service star level only because the drinks took a very long time to come and we got the order in much later than usual. I think they were understaffed. That said, highly recommend this place and we enjoyed it greatly!
Father’s Day brunch
We absolutely loved the brunch at Wolf’s Ridge. The food was delicious and the daybreak cream ale is a perfect beer to have with brunch. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!
The food and service was great! I can't wait to go back and try the outside patio!
I had he pork chop this time. It was the best I’ve ever had
