Bottomless brunch on Sunday is only available from 12pm.
Food was great, although my friends portion was really small (huge pile of mushrooms on one small slice of sourdough toast - just add another piece of toast and this would have been fine). Service was slow and not particularly well informed when we had questions. One question was from the menu that specifically said to ask your waiter/ress for options. The first server said she didn’t know because she was new and that she would find out, but she just left and didn’t ever come back and the second server gave us some kind of answer, like oh it’s this type of thing but there are loads of options and I’d have to go find out ‘sigh’ do you want me to check? (By this point it was 25 mins after we asked the first question so decided against it and just ordered something else). My tofu poke meal was delicious though. I like the decor.
The food is really yummy and the service is slow but if you are not in a rush then it’s ok
Great food, both eating in it taking a coffee & pastry away. excellent service. Love the decor & atmosphere
Food is stunning. Would highly recommend the wolfox
Good coffee, that is always important! Highlights were açai and poke bowls.
Booking was easy. Service was not so much.
Please be warned the outside tables to the right of the decking are placed on a slight slant, the tables have slats to the top. Our waitress served a cup of coffee in what looked like a small terracotta cup with no saucer to it. I know can you imagine what happened next....
The cup of coffee was placed straight onto the table, to which it topples off the table onto my friends lap...the waitresses did nothing to help my poor friend who was covered in hot coffee...she said we'll give you your food for free. Great we said ...we had to re arrange our table as the waitresses didn't even clean up the coffee that went everywhere 😳
But when we arrived at the till to double check and chase the waitresses down she said no we didn't offer you that...just 25% off the bill. WHAT AN UTTER INSULT..
I wouldn't rush back there again after such poor service. And just wanted to pre-warn anyone sitting on the tables adjacent to the decking area. Please watch your hot beverages.
Unfortunately, the brioche French toast wasn’t great. Also, the chia latte was cold and tasted more like milk than a chia latte.
Good brunch selection!
I loooove the ambiance in Wolfox, and the staff are lovely. But their black coffee (Americano) tastes awful!!! It’s really sour! Black coffee should taste butter, not sour! They need to change their beans. They did get my husbands food order wrong, so had to wait double time while they brought the correct order, but they were very apologetic and did have us a discount for the error. It was the Wolfox hash, which was not nice. Would barely give it a 1star.
I will go there again, but PURELY for the ambiance of the outdoor terrace. I really do hope thy will change their coffee.
Also they do run out of the same things every time, things like the breakfast bowl.
I love eating here & whilst the staff & food & ambiance r good, I was shocked by cleanliness. We are at 10am on a Sunday. The floors were filthy, the mirrors smeared & dirty & the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned. It takes very little to keep on top of these things & definitely made me think twice about recommending it to friends. In light of COVID, visible cleanliness really is key. Get this right & this brand has it dialled!
Good brunch menu, nice decor, plenty of space. Worth a try
The decor, coffee and cakes are excellent at the Wolfox, however while the brunch all looked great, it was very much style over substance.
The french toast with bacon and syrup was the worse dish on our table; The bacon was so crispy you couldn’t cut it but instead had to fold it over to shatter it in half. The french toast had a powdery aftertaste, which then reacted with the left over orange juice to give a quite awful taste after the already bad aftertaste.
The Wolfox breakfast was the ok, but had the same over cooked bacon.
The best dish we had on the table was the eggs benedict, however it was just served on a brioche burger bun, cut in half which still had sunflower seeds on it. I.e it looked like it had been brought from Sainsbury’s.
The poached eggs where good and runny, but apart from that I did not rate the food this morning.
Wolfox is a nice addition to the Broadway Haywards Heath, it has a nice ambience and comfortable seating and good decoration. The staff were helpful and service was good. The food was very good.
I've only eaten a sausage roll here which was tasty and had a good amount of pork meat rather than just pasty.
The coffee and lager were also enjoyable.
Friendly service and very tasty good. My first visit and I was very impressed, I’ll be back.
Imaginative menu. Great value and excellent service
Service and food amazing!
Excellent meal and coffee both well presented. Lovely staff.
Great fresh tasty food and really welcoming staff. Food is very good value for the quality.
Really lovely breakfast at the Wolfox, I have visited the Brighton one before and loved it and this did not disappoint either! We are returning again this weekend!
Food was great, staff was friendly and helful. Only downside was that we waited for our acai bowl for over half an hour, but they realised and apologised for it. Overall very good experience, recommended.
Very excited to have a Wolfox in Haywards Heath. Its a cool and beautiful cafe, with delicious cakes and food. We've been twice since it opened and lovely to sit outside (finally) and have a nice treat. The service is a little relaxed at the moment, we waited 15 mins for menus on the first visit. Hoping it will step up once they are fully up and running. Also it would be really nice to have a tea pot for the tea, because the cups are small, and also the tea gets cold quickly when drinking it outside. Just a couple of small points though, then it would be perfect. Oh and I lived my bad dream when going to the loo and there is no door on one of them yet. But the other loo is up and running. Otherwise love it, we will be there all the time!
We were the first to be served outside and sitting so we were still on the pavement but we had been explained that. We also knew there would be noise from the building of the decking so lovely food, staff were still finding thier feet, and will be even nicer when we can sit on decking. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable
