Wolf in the Fog serves fresh seafood right from the ocean and much more. It is nestled near the coastline in Tofino. Wolf in the Fog's interior creates a rustic setting with comfortable seating and beautiful wood throughout. Patrons can feast on small plates of Moroccan-spiced octopus, potato-crusted oysters or a celery and apple salad. Tasty entrées like grilled cornish hen with cauliflower and charred squid with pork belly grace the menu. Wolf in the Fog has a sizable bar that offers wine, beer and cocktails. So happy that I made the reservation to come here. Atmosphere, service, food and drinks were excellent. Portion size is more than generous.

This was not our first visit to the Wolf in the Fog. We are repeat customers. We return for the creative food that has subtle layers of flavour, the amazing cocktails you can't find anywhere else, the servers, who make you feel like family, and the comfortable, classic, west coast atmosphere. We will continue to frequent this superior restaurant.

Love, love, love Wolf In The Fog! You wont be disappointed. Definitely a must if your in Tofino. Everything is delicious, somethings could be a bit bigger portion wise for the price. But overall really great.

Eric looked after us so well and the cod and the smoked trout were outstanding. We'll be back again during our annual visit to Tofino next January

I had been here twice before and was looking forward to introducing it to someone who had never been. Even though there were many open tables, we were seated right next to another couple and felt like we were in a cafeteria (I had made reservations weeks earlier) Food was average for the price. I would not go back based on this last experience.

Our most recent experience at the Wolf in The Fog was as great as it was when they first opened. The staff were excellent from the time we walked in the door until the time we were leaving. Excellent advice from the staff regarding wine and food choice and happily surprised the wine was one of the moderately priced wines - thanks! If you are on the west coast of the Island, this is a MUST! See you next time for sure.

Amazing dining experience after going to Wolf in the Fog on the recommendation of a friend. Loved the ease of making online reservation! Catch of the day cooked to perfection, oyster tart left me wanting to lick the plate! Just wish I'd had room to try dessert! Bravo to the staff! I'll be back and will be singing your praises!

Whilst on vacation in tofino myself and my fiancée came across the wolf and the fog and dined here twice, as well as calling in for coffee and pasteries one day. We really enjoyed the food there - block party sharing platter was amazing and very generous portions for 2 people (after being afraid that it wouldn't be enough for outer large appetites!) On our last night we decided to make a reservation and dine upstairs. The decor and ambience of the place was amazing. Really nice romantic feel. We both had the winter catch (ling cod with gnocchi, Brussels sprouts, bacon) and it was amazing. I found it very expensive dish though at $32 - especially when it was caught locally. Working in a casual fine dining restaurant in Vancouver our seasonal lingcod dish is a mere $26. Apart from this we had brilliant service food and a good time dining here and will return on our next trip to tofino!

This is our second time visiting the "Wolf". And the food was, once again, mediocre. With all the hype and great reviews we are wondering why we are not impressed. We are in Tofino 4 or 5 times a year and would love to make this place a regular stop but .... The last time we were there the food was cold. We did mention it but our server said it was supposed to be "not that hot". Hmmmm...I like my fish, or anything else, hot when it comes out of the kitchen. This time was not much different. We had the "Block Party". The ribs were okay but the chicken had a weird texture and the pulled pork was no better than I would get at a fast food joint. The sauce was pretty ordinary. The atmosphere is great, the wine list is respectable and our server was excellent. For thise reasons I would recommend it but be careful what you order and specify that you would like it hot.
