Excellent food y great service!! One of the best sushi in town
Overall still as good as pre pandemic visits. Prices have gone up and quantity down
New year eve…
Great sushi at an amazing price! We will definitely go back!
The food is good as always. The service is outstanding. The best kept food secret in NYC.
Third time or more here. Never disappoints. Everything is on par.
Affordable and high quality sushi, amazing service
Excellent food and good value. Make sure to order the limited items early!
I already brought more than 10 people to Wokuni. All of them love the dishes and service of Wokuni.
The lady at the front was very cute, and she was very nice for us. Thanks.
I will bring another friend again.
Good food and environment
Wonderful food and friendly service. Like the calm atmosphere.
Superb Japanese fish. Get there early and have a Wokuni Don, for a fine array of fish and tempura, and a terrific value. Their miso soup is the best. (Early means seated by 11:30 and get your order in - - they only make 8 Wokuni Don per day.)
The service was very poor. The waiter got our order and served us the wrong food. When we asked that he would rectify this he charged us for his mistake. For a restaurant that wants a Michelin star, I would say they are far away from it.
Service was good, but food only average compared to other sushi restaurants.
Good food, decent service and ideal for business meetings.
Fantastic restaurant if you want to experience the best quality fish available. Beautifully prepared and everything delicious. They offers a variety of fish that you don't commonly see available in the USA. If you're a true sushi lover, you can't get much better than this. Even the shrimp tempura was on another level. Highly recommended.
The food was excellent, fish was so fresh, sashimi melted in your mouth. The ambience is sophisticated and yet very simple. Noise level a bit high with music playing in the background which I would stop if I were the restaurant’s manager. Better to dine without loud music. Hlglhy recommend
The food the best for price. Good food great service, how can you go wrong.
Terrific food, service & atmosphere! The four of us enjoyed our meal! Will recommend!
Always comfortable if you get a table at wall side on reservation.
The service is so bad…I was very very disappointed. He didn’t even wanna talk to me or recommend anything, only a few seconds he said do you order or not. Feel like because we are Asian. He was so energetic with white customers, talking for 10+ minutes….I was so mad and left quickly
Omakase was awesome. Would absolutely return here to order it again.
The best Japanese restaurant in midtown. Very affordable and delicious during lunch time. Wokuni don is a wonder!!
Excellent sushi and we are particular with our sushi.
All the foods are so fantastic! Everybody should go there!
The vibe was great for a date night or anniversary type meal. The cocktails were excellent! The edema was ok, not great but the fish was fresh, well presented, and outstanding. If definitely recommend.
Great experience overall!
Always a great place. Friendly and courteous staff, great food and atmosphere. Fresh fish from Japan is remarkable. Koichi-san as the manager, and Jo-san as the service made it a very nice evening for us.
Incredible quality, will be back
Excellent food and service. Everything came out very quickly (maybe too quickly but that’s better than the opposite). Sashimi, spicy salmon role, shrimp tempura, wagyu skewers - all delicious. Would definitely go back.
Great sashimi and tempura veggies. Tried the grilled tofu, but it wasn't our favourite. We'd have the creamy chilli prawns again.
Dinning at Wokuni would never go wrong. It always exceeds my expectation.
We expected Happy Hour Oysters as we enjoyed before, however reasonable priced oyster was gone and now $3/ea. Hope they'll come back...
Why was there no box to earn 100 points?
I would like to earn but no chance to do it.
I'm really disappointed.
The restaurant was nice, but much more expensive than anticipated. The portions were much smaller and so we had to order multiple dishes to build a proper meal. The food was good, but the portions could have been bigger especially for the price.
Even though we were told the table was needed after one hour and 45min when we were seated, we were allowed to stay way beyond that which was much appreciated.
Great place and great good.
went there for a birthday and no one acknowledged it at all. there were two other large parties so i understand things were hectic but it wasn’t a great experience honestly. service was lacking but i understand it was probably a tough night for the staff
Very fresh Japanese food. Love the lunch sets. Sashimi was delicious. Some of the sets are a bit pricey, but so worth it for a great lunch.
There was a hilarious tuna auction and everyone was wearing fish hats and having a ball
