The Wokuni-don is as excellent as always. A bit pricy but the quality is truly stunning. Service is spotless. Will visit again next month.
Very much meh. Sushi was good, service sucked and their wasn’t a good selection of drinks.
Wonderful ambiance and quality food! Highly recommend it even for celebrating special occasions.
Their Sashimi are Very Good and Fresh. I always eat Kaisendon for Lunch.
Great place for get together
Food and service is always excellent
I’ve been here before and this time it was just sub par. I doubt I’ll come back. We sat there for 20 minutes before someone even walked over and it wasn’t very busy. Not even a glass of water or a hello I’ll be with you.
Next and more importantly the fish was not fresh. That’s what I loved about the times I had been here before but this time you could tell by the color that the fish was starting to turn and the texture reinforced this.
Better to throw out the fish than give it to customers. You just lost a loyal one because of the poor quality.
Excellent food excellent service
This was so far the best restaurant for raw fish that I went to in NYC. They have professional Itamaes; they treat fish in a peculiar way to take away the fishy smell. The waiter is amiable, he even remembered me from the last visit, the appearance of the dishes is gorgeous. Miso soup was delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Great quality food and drinks. Service was great too. Will be coming back for happy hour soon.
Best sush! Quality is very good and fresh. Not cheap but worth it!
Food and service was not goodI will not be back I will not recommend it
Wokuni remains a restaurant of choice. I refer friends there, and I will return again.
Although they offer omakase , it’s not really their thing. It was disjointed and all over the place. I will say that the sushi and shashimi were very good. Good portion size and very fresh. Outstanding uni and o toro. However, service was inconsistent and challenging. Overall a 3.
It was one of our coworkers Bday and we had an amazing time
It was my nanny’s 88th BD and they made it very special. They gave her enough time to eat (it takes time for her to eat), never felt pressured to be slow customers. Food was excellent and service was very good. I’m just surprised there were many napkins and toilet paper on the floor of bathroom. Otherwise excellent like always.
The food was so good and I love their reasonable price without bubble.
Quality/freshness was on point. Sushi rolls were good. Scallops were overcooked a little on the chewy side. Salmon sashimi was finest quality. Service was lacking. We had to continually ask to refill water and remove plates. Wait staff wasn't friendly or inviting. Don't think I will return again.
Very nice new place. Great ambience, excellent service and fresh delicious food. Highly recommend.
Booths are superb but the main chairs were also comfy! Very reasonable prices especially for the quality.
Very nice restaurant. Highly recommend to go with family or friends
The fish is top notch. The sushi rice is missing flavor. Overall excellent.
Delicious, fresh sushi. Very happy with the food, decor and service .
Very fresh food! We enjoyed hot pot & many others! Service was excellent! Definitely want to come back again!!
Always amazing service and food. Sushi is to die for. Kids will love the pirate ship special.
I love lunch here in Wokuni. It’s great value and very fresh fish. It totally satisfied my cravings for sushi. My favorites are Wokuni don and Kaiden chirashi. Both are amazing!!
We love this place, one of our favorites in Manhattan. Terrific food, serene ambience, professional polite staff, all at good value. Was out of NYC for awhile, and on our return Wokuni was top of our list for first meal.
Always delicious and easy to get into I’ve been there at least seven or eight times now and will continue
Great service and excellent food as always. My family’s one of the favorite places
Takashi was our waiter and he took super good care of us! Food was great, a little bit on the pricier side. Worth it! Would come back again but maybe just for special occasions!
Great service and amazing food. Will definitely come again
Great food and service!
Server was very attentive!
i went there with my friend. we were very satisfied. we absolutly go again.
We love barachirashi which they only serve for lunch. Fish is very fresh and looks amazing, tastes just as good as it looks.
Went for happy hour and it was a great value. Had 3 glasses of wine @7 dollars each and a dizen delicious oysters. The tuna tartare was out of this world and we reordered it. The other dishes were excellent too. Wish there was more ventilation against covid but building controls thermostat. Will definitely be back but not too comfortable eating indoors there until vaccine.
Very quite place with really good food and great service.
Beef over rice and seafood nabe are truly recommended.
Amazing food and great service.
They did t have a lot of things that they have in menu. That’s sad because we particularly came for that specific food.
