We, Tokyo Ichiban Foods, started our business in the restaurant industry. We continue to pursue serving quality food that will delight our guests, and we cherish our relationship with them. Today, pivoting from our strong origin, we are also expanding our scope of business to aqua-farming, seafood processing and distribution.
We oversee the process through professional culinary eyes, from when the fish is cultivated until it is served to our guests. This allows us to build a sustainable and traceable system that will lead to higher customer satisfaction.

    Wonderful food and saki, went twice in a week. Set lunch is really worthy and dinner is nice too. Fresh sashimi is very tasty and love the uni most! Tempera is crispy and tasty too.

    Service, food, drinks blew away my expectations. Such attention to detail, such a unique and personal ambiance. Would give this place a 20/10 if possible . Definitely recommend to serious sushi lovers, and those looking for an intimate experience with your food

    Restaurant is beautiful inside and a very chic, intimate environment. Servers were very attentive and our food came out really fast. Sashimi Bluefin tuna was my favorite dish 🤌🏻Don’t forget to leave room for dessert, their Anmitsu is phenomenal.

    Everything was great. We shared a Spicy Tuna roll, O Toro, wagyu skewers, udon, and karaage. The fish was absolutely delicious and so fresh. It was a great experience all around.

    I wanted to find some excellent sushi in NYC. I read, and settled upon WOKUNI. I was not disappointed. This was hands down the best sushi I have ever had. The fish was exceptional, the preparation beautiful. The atmosphere was great, very minimalist with a focus on the food. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The sake/wine list is deep and the staff was happy to lend an excellent recommendation. I will come back here, it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time.

    Super Essen und toller Service. Absolut empfehlenswert! Für europäische Verhältnisse etwas komisch: Der Tisch ist nur für eine Stunde reserviert. Danach muss man mit dem Essen fertig sein oder an der Bar sitzen.

    We did the omakese experience and found it to be completely overpriced for what it was. Part of the lineup was fried tempura and veggies, a cucumber roll, carrot soup, etc. these things shouldn’t be on an omakese experience and really should’ve had more sashimi and sushi in its place. Also there are huge tvs that were on random channels that made the place seem like a Buffalo Wild Wings and was extremely distracting for a good date night.

    We had an AMAZING meal at Wokuni! Our waitress was the Best! So helpful and efficient. The manager made great recommendations of which we ordered. Such a lovely, authentic Japanese restaurant that is not a sushi only cafe. We've already told all our friends and plan to return soon.
