Service was excellent...attentive and pleasant. Food overall was average. My husband's pad see eiw dish was a bit too sweet and sickening and my pad thai was so incredibly spicy that it was painful to eat. Ambiance was good and great family friendly restaurant.
Our go to spot for date night, sushi and service are spot on!
Food not customized - we had to send it back 2 times
Second time bad experience
Server looked new and was confused
The lettuce raps are so delicious. The black widow sushi was also very good. Service was nice and our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely go back many times.
Everything was great!
It was great!
Nothing says St. Patrick's Day like Asian Fusion...my wife and I wanted to avoid the craziness of St. Patty's and we went to an always solid Wok n Fire. You can always find something to enjoy. If you're in the mood for sushi, stir fry, noodles or a salad, you will not be disappointed with the tasty variety of this menu.
Excellent food and service!!
We love coming here. Everything is always wonderful and the staff is beyond friendly!
The hostesses, wait staff and manager were extremely pleasant and attentive. The salmon entree was excellent and loved the creative maki rolls.
Wonderful as always! All of our dishes were yummy!
Wasn't impressed. Seemed kind of dirty and the food was just ok.
Very good Pad Thai. My husband had the Spicy Scallops but thought they weren't very spicy, but they were good.
I really enjoyed the peace and quiet and my food . The waiter knows her stuff
Everything was impeccable from food, service and ambiance. Manager was so friendly and she even bought us a dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We will be back!
Hostess was very friendly but very confusing! Finally able to find out that everyone at restaurant was seated in lounge area for fabulous happy hour! She was seating us in a large, completely empty dining room. When I was finally able to get the info from her about the happy hour appetizers and sushi specials, she said she never seats people w reservations in the lounge. Ok I understand that but when the dining room is 100% EMPTY dontcha think your customers want to know why?
We dined on Saturday, February 18, and arrived to a relatively empty restaurant. The space is nice, with high ceilings, and a nice long sushi bar, although no one was seated at the bar. We began with a couple of appetizers, one order of spring rolls, another of crab rangoon. The spring rolls were uninspired, nothing special. The crab rangoon had NO crab, not even a bit of fake crab. Just a lukewarm glob of cream cheese fried in a wonton skin. Blech!
One person had sea bass which looked well prepared, but more like a hotel banquet dinner than a restaurant entrée. One person ordered the macadamia crusted chicken, which honestly, was massive, the size of a small turkey breast. It was moist, but bland and had no seasoning in the preparation. I had a Thai curry noodle dish with steak. The entire dish had no flavor and was completely bland. It was spicy, as I ordered it extra spicy, but other than the heat sensation, there was no layering of flavors, it was completely flat. The steak was tender, but again, had no seasoning. I never use salt in restaurants, and rarely at home. But, imagine if you will, an Asian dish that is so bland I actually had to ask for salt so I could eat the meat. The rest of the dish was so terrible that I left the noodles and didn't even bother taking home the leftovers. I love when I can take home leftovers from restaurants, but this was so bad and such a disappointment that I didn't even bother.
The meal was so bad that we didn't even bother with dessert, but I did order coffee, and even that was awful, tasting burned and bitter.
The server was completely indifferent, and we had to track him down in an empty restaurant to ask for our check. I would absolutely never go back to this restaurant and found it to be very overpriced for the quality of food and poor service.
Food and service was great except our personal server was slow and did not check up very often but other staff members were great
Their happy hour on Sundays is such a deal. Delicious and fresh food. Great combinations of flavors. Can't wait to go back.
We always like to go out in a regular date night and often come to Wok & Fire! Have NEVER had an experience other than INCREDIBLE! Thank you!
Always a great experience. Our Hostess Heather was awesome and keen us form our previous visits. She was very friendly and served our guests very well.
Food as always is consistent and fresh.
The crab rangoon was absolutely fantastic! The service was very good Hannah quick and attentive. Enjoyed the meal very much and would definitely go back
We enjoy the food at this restaurant!
We have eaten here many times and prefer the lounge area. The hostess told us they normally do not give open table credits if you eat in this area. If we spend $80 in their establishment why should they even worry. Most of the appies we're very good except the Vietnamese spring rolls. They were fried and very oily. The owners may want to retrain their hostess/greeters. No way to run a business since it was clearly stated on our reservation. The place was not full so maybe they offended some other long-term regulars too.
Friendly service, good food and beautiful decor. Wok N Fire has become one of our favorite restaurants!
We got seated immediately. Our server was very attentive. The food is delicious. I especially liked the lemon cake.
Server was attentive. Appetizer was tasty but entrees were extremely bland. My Mahi-Mahi was tough and most likely frozen before cooking. My asparagus was not cooked enough while pieces of kale were mixed in that were really mushy. For a $20 price tag for my entree, I expected a better meal.
Great place. My family loved the food, ambience and service.
The four of us came to celebrate a birthday: my wife’s! The food was great and the server was particularly good. Her name was Heather, and she gave us good advice about the food and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
We love Wok N Fire. We usually dine at the St. Charles location but decided to try Wheaton. Great location, very nice restaurant, good food. The only bad thing about it was our server was not up to par. Not sure if he was under the influence or new, but his head was not in the game for work. Otherwise, would totally recommend this location!
great food and fun environment
Server was very nice and very attentive. Food was great, and gor our bill in a timely mater. Overall great experience.
The place was freezing, pretty sure the heat was not working,on the coldest day of the year.
Our annual NYE family dinner
Disappointed, compared to previous visits. Food not served hot and service slow. Our server had at least 6 tables. Also a very cold dining room. My wife put her coat back on.
Food was phenomenal! They accommodated my wife’s mushroom allergy so well. Polite and attentive staff, excellent food and spirits. My whole family was impressed.
Wonderful sushi place
Sadly we had to sit in the lounge on Sunday for our 12:30p lunch...the bar is not great for conversation and since the music was so loud, my senior parents had a hard time hearing all parts of the conversation. I’ve eaten in the bar for lunch during the week and on Saturdays and every time, I’ve asked to reduce music level. Only eat in the restaurant part if u desire to hear the people u are eating with for a meal. Love the food and all times we get great service!!!
Outstanding food and service. I’ve had several different dishes there and they never disappoint. The Szechuan chicken is hot and spicy as you wanted to be
Location, food and service were superb! Even better was finding out it was ladies night on Wednesday in the Bar area! Half price rolls!
