Great service. Super waiter and great food!
First time there for me - absolutely delicious
This place was ok. Requested outdoor dining, however when arrived, there was no out door seating. Possibly due to weather, but would have been nice if it was acknowledged that outdoor dining was reserved, however unavailable. Or a phone call prior.
Upon seating, the hostess advised of viewing the menu and I think ordering via mobile, which makes sense with everything going on. Told the waitress we needed a few more mins to order as this was our first time, she left and didn't come back for a while, which in turn we just ordered at least appetizers via the mobile to get things going. She finally came back, and we told her we ordered the appetizers on the app, and with a slight attitude advised, "She preferred if we ordered through her" which I guess made sense, maybe she was worried about her tip, however it's that's the case, you should probably mentioned that in the beginning.
After the above, we made sure to order our entrees through her as to not offend her. During the meal, she came back a couple times and got my drink refills, but other than that she wasn't really anywhere to be seen, and it wasn't busy.
Ok overall, food was avg but not great for the pricing. Ambience was nice. Also noted in my reservation that it was for a birthday event, but nothing was done.
Good service - good selection of menua options, allow you to order how you like. Sushi is excellent.
We always enjoy the experience. The service is great. We always eat in bar area.
Overall experience was just OK. Edamame was a bit over cooked and the sushi contained too much rice for the portion of fish. The rolls were fine. Service was ok. We had not been there in a while, so things had gone down quality wise since our last visit.
Excellent service very attentive waitress. Food was outstanding! Beautiful atmosphere I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Went there for lunch. Only a handful of people in the whole restaurant. It took nearly a half an hour to get my Hot and Sour soup. (I was told it was made to order, but it tasted nothing like it has on my many other visits.) I asked for hot green tea and was told that they were out of it. How does an Asian restaurant run out of green tea? The sushi rolls were delicious, but took forever to get to our table. Waitress was gracious.
I can't imagine how slow the kitchen would have been had a few more customers showed up.
Very disappointing visit to a restaurant that I eat at frequently. It makes me less likely to take business guests there.
I was never asked for water..2) appetizer and entree arrived 1 min apart 3) sangria was good
Nice place to have drinks with a girlfriend on a Friday night. Drinks and food are good, atmosphere is lively and service is attentive.
Love this restaurant and the location. I’ve only ever sat in the bar area, and it’s an amazing vibe; awesome house music in the background; great cocktails, and sushi. Service was impeccable. Still one of my favs.
The food was amazing! Service was great! The tables were too close for comfort with covid. We ate fast and left.
Service was very slow. Food was brought out lukewarm. Did not see waiter for long periods of time while drinks sat empty. Thank goodness for the busboy whom we could communicate our needs, though we all felt sorry for him as the rest of the staff was very incompetent. Will not repeat.
I have been here a couple of times. They absolutely butchered valentines day ruining my plans with my girlfriend for the night. Despite reserving a table for 7pm when we arrived we were told we would have to wait in an extremely overcrowded (no social distancing) waiting room for at least 35 minutes for our table. Other guests made it clear to me the wait would be much longer than the 35 minutes. We ended up leaving. It is a shame this experience was so negative because usually they are a great restaurant I would recommend. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
We waited an hour for
Service was not good. Waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by a server after being seated. Food took extremely long to come to our table; waitress informed us after we ordered, roughly 25 minutes later, that the wait time was upwards of 40 minutes. One meal came out wrong- not as ordered. No water was brought to table until we asked at the end of the meal- no offers of refilling sodas for kids. Our dirty appetizer plates were left on our table even after our main course was served- we moved them over to be removed. Seemed like the restaurant was overbooked with not enough staff to accommodate. Bad overall experience.
Very incompetent and unprofessional!
We had a waitress that suggested instead of cocktails to order beer or straight shots, reasoning it that the bar prefers them to do so (less work? for the bar, or the waitress?), this was very odd to hear as well as to hear from that same waitress that the bar doesn’t have a blender, so no blended drinks can be ordered as well as some slushy kids drinks we wanted to order for our kids. As we were asking about different choices for noodles from the menu, the waitress kept writing everything down, so in addition to just grilled chicken with fried rice, we got pad Thai and pad see ew, we mentioned that to a person who brought it to the table, and agreed to keep pad Thai but not the other noodle dish, to which he said we can keep it at no charge, until our waitress came by and took it away. No silverware, no napkins, we had to look for those on our own. What a shock it was, when we were leaving and walking by the bar, to see two bartenders working hard mixing drinks/cocktails.
Waitress was by the name Tina.
Very interesting experience we had.
Was nice to be out to dinner.. nice crowd. Need more wait staff. Our server had way too many tables
We absolutely loved our waitress and the food was wonderful, however we were EXTREMELY disappointed on how little they cared about COVID. We made a reservation thinking that they had limited capacity due to the pandemic, however the restaurant completely filled up without any room in between tables as we were about halfway through with our meal. We were definitely within 6ft of all other tables around us and they were all full, the dining room was packed. When we left there were probably 20-25 people in the foyer waiting for a table too. They didn’t care at all about capacity restrictions and I felt super unsafe.
Our server in the bar area is great. She has more than taken care of us the last three times we were there. The food is great.
My bartender and server were prompt and friendly.
Our server Carlos was fantastic - no longer offering Happy Hour so pricing was high but we enjoyed the food, drinks and ambiance
Service was a little slow, we waited a while to be able to order our food. Also, it seemed they may have been short staffed because it was tough to find a waiter when we needed them. The roll we had fried tempura tasted like it may have been left on the counter for a while. Our server was awesome though, really nice and you can clearly tell he was running around a bunch. It was definitely on management.
The tofu pad Thai is fabulous!
Our server provided amazing service and we loved the ambiance! Wr will definitely return. Thanks!
Always a great experience and good food.
On this occasion one problem was doors were locked and no one was answering their phone line. Had to wait about 15 minutes to get someone I side to acknowledge that the doors locked and should let us in.
Food was good but a little expensive. Service was a little slow.
Ate inside. Manager had his mark at his chin the whole might. What’s the point? Won’t go back
Poor service, and the only table waitress had! No silverware/plates/water until we asked for it, and no prompt refill. The place was also super un-tidy, not standard what we want to see mid-pandemic. Sushi was par at best, but $100 check for all this? We will never return, and will be telling our friends the same about the experience.
Server wasn’t very timely, there was an issue with our food and it took 30 minutes for someone to come assess the problem.
Excellent Food and Service! What a nice experience
Waitress was amazing. It was windy and we chose to eat outside. Our fault. But table was in corner and next to alley. Kids were playing in the alley otherwise great experience.
Free birthday dessert, great drinks and delicious meal. Occasional train could make conversation difficult outside but not unreasonable.
I can't believe this was my first visit to Wok n Fire! It was fantastic. The food is excellent, loved the Chilean sea bass and wrinkled green beans. I'll definitely be back--with more friends.
Great service from Carlos, great sushi and drinks. One or two trains breaking up the conversation.
Steak over cooked and waiter pushing cocktail too hard.
Very good food, drinks, service, and management...
Always good food at Wok N Fire, however we had a reservation and the manager/host was greeting guests and when a friend came in he walked with them to the bar and stood and talked while many of us waited in the vestibule, he then told us that they were short staffed (I understand times right now are different),and when he seated us told us he would also be serving us - there were other servers and they were doing a great job, needless to say our server was not really focused on us and our service was not very good. But, again the food was very good!
Food is always great. A/c was not working it at least not turned on. Otherwise had a nice dinner.
