   My wife and I like to find good BYOB's because obviously the food is the focus. I was looking for a place in the Old City area out of convenience and I liked what what I read on the website. The owner, Joe, turned out to be our server and recommended the duck to me, it was delicious. My wife had the fish and loved it as well. It was a slow night, typical for a Saturday in July. Joe sat with us afterward and was very charming and genuinely enjoyed telling us stories about his father and grandfather and how he became a restaurateur. Great experience all around, we would highly recommend.

   The restaurant is so pretty Excellent lighting The service was impeccable and friendly I had the beef dish which was excellent and a teen salad My date had the duck special Excellent place

   Great meal and service. Owner came to talk to us and sent us free dessert. I’m reading these reviews and all of them sound excellent.I see one or two that aren’t great. Being a server during college I would get a table that you just can’t please. My conclusion was they want free food usually looking for a comp. They were the worst tippers ever. Wister was 80% full and our server she was great. I can’t understand some people think there food bloggers. My wife made me write this review. If I didn’t care for a place I just wouldn’t return. But to write something bad about a server or restaurant is just being rude.i can’t wait to take friends and family here. Cozy place and octopus was best I ever had. Megan our server hats off to you and good luck in Villanova.

   The host/server ignored the fact that we had a reservation (none really needed as the place was empty). He did not know the details of the specials. He served the food piecemeal, despite being asked to serve it all together. The various pieces of the meal came at random times, after a lengthy wait. One dish did not have all its components so even those were served piecemeal! The food was good but the overall experience was not great. Will not go back.

   My wife and I had a great meal at this charming restaurant. We shared the octopus appetizer which I would recommend. Our entrees were branzino and chicken piccata. They were both cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

    We had a 6:15 reservation for a pre theater (8pm show, around the corner) meal. Salad was served in a reasonable amount of time but was boring, nothing interesting. We then waited almost 30 minutes for our main course, stressing us about timing. When finally served, the fish filet was under cooked. By the time it was revised, we had to run to the theater. We called the manager, who was not apologetic or very helpful. I would NOT eat there again and would NOT recommend this restaurant.
