   We ordered the ricotta stuffed olives for an app and boy were they delicious! A must try. I ordered the Wissota wagyu burger with mushroom risotto because they were out of truffle fries. The burger was tasty, juicy and tender! The mushroom risotto was creamy and had a lot of mushroom flavor. My Fiancé got the 45 day dry aged pork chop and it was cooked to perfection. It was glistening inside and the seasoning was perfect. For our sides we got the truffle bacon Mac n cheese for 2. We maybe finished half of that. For dessert she had raspberry tiramisu and I had carrot cake. Both deserts tasted fresh and home made and I would get again for sure. Since it was her B day her dessert was free. My dessert was also free because there was a party in the banquet room and our food took a long time to come out. The wait staff were super friendly and very good. I’m sure if we had dined at a different time without a big party we would have got our food promptly. Overall it was a great experience and we left feeling satisfied. Prices are on par with fine dining restaurants. I would recommend to anyone who wants a nice night out for something way above average.

   Delicious food and a nice, cozy atmosphere. It's a little on the pricey side and the side options are all for two or more people so it's hard to order exactly what you want without getting a ton of food. We ended up sharing side dishes. I will definitely be back!

   The steaks , shrimp and side dishes were very good. However the kitchen or other assistants need help, 1 steak dinner was incorrect. another entree was served after the rest of the diners were more than 1/2 finished with their meals. Side dishes came out sporadically. A good Bread and cheese were served , but came out after salads were done. Salads were excellent. They did give us a credit for the delayed delivery and incorrect steak. Staff was very nice and apologetic.

   This is one of the best restaurants in the entire Fox Valley area! Food was amazing and the servers was great! I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem and I plan on going regularly.

   Food was good. I was disappointed with my steak, especially for the price. It’s convenient if you are staying in the hotel but we probably won’t be back.

    Disappointed with lamb chops- $40 for two small and overcooked loin chops was way too much. Shame on me for not asking about preparation or what “lamb chops” actually were cut from. Appetizers were great and wine list was good coupled with attentive service from Alex, we were generally pleased. My suggestion is to stick to the steaks!

    Had the lamb and mushroom risotto, excellent! Service was wonderful. Steaks seemed priced rather high so did not order one. I would definitely go back for lamb.

    My husband had scallops and they were yummy, cooked really well and not rubbery. He said best he’s every had. Very nice presentation. Sides: asparagus and desert raspberry Tiramisu, delicious. I had 5 ounce filet mignon. Steak was eh for the price point. Not much presentation and flavor average. Good Service, wine was good, nice atmosphere. We would go back.

    First night of Restaurant Week. It was our first time there. We were asked twice for our order. My sister was brought the wrong drink. The soups came out after the entrees. The chicken was just a plain piece of chicken, and the risotto seemed to simply be rice with cream of something soup (I typically love risotto). We never received the bread we were told we would receive. It was all very odd. However, the lobster bisque was quite good, and the chocolate cake (they ran out of the advertised dessert on night 1) was delicious. They were likely not prepared for Restaurant Week staff-wise and supply-wise. Would I go back? Not likely.

    It was good, but not great. I had heard great things, but was not impressed. Had the Ribeye and Prawns. Prawns needed some sauce and the Ribeye was under seasoned. Certainly not worth the price, very expensive for the geographic area. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere is really nice. There are better places to eat for far less money.

    Nice atmosphere, waitress was very nice, but was not attentive. Food was ok. My fiances steak was very good. Mine, was okay. Dinner did not include any sides. You had to order ala carte. For the cost of the steaks, sides should have been included. The side that we did order was supposed to be for two. But, it was only enough for one. We did get free bread, but it only consisted of three tiny slices of bread the size from a baguette. Definitely would not go there if I don't have a gift card.

    This place is great. Very nice atmosphere, great food, staff was excellent. They were very short staffed when we went but the people that were working were professional and working hard to make it a great experience. The food is excellent but it’s pricey, not an everyday dinner kind of place. I would highly recommend trying it.

    We will never go back. We had a party of six and this is a recap of our evening. After quite a long wait one person in our party received his entrée, followed by three people receiving their salads, followed by two of our side dishes for dinner, followed by the other people getting their salad and one person getting soup, followed by our other side dish for dinner and finally followed by our other five entrées which were barely lukewarm. So at times we had people eating side dishes with salads and others just sitting there waiting. The most messed up dinner ever!

    The atmosphere since we walked in and the greeting from the staff was perfect. Because we used Open Table App our table was set and ready for us. I personally choose the specialty of the the 3 Oz. Japanese A-5 Certified Wagyu and cooking and the flavor was perfect; as a side I chose Garlic Chive Whipped Potato while my lovely wife chose the Petit Filet with Gourmet Mushroom Risotto. Even though we are not from Wisconsin and we was visiting, definitely this place is in my list to visit again with no doubt when I return to Wisconsin.

    The wait staff was very attentive and the manager was great. Our table was ready right when we got there- they even had a high chair waiting and ready for my baby! They accidentally gave us a wrong appetizer and they immediately made the right one and charged us nothing for the wrong one. Great service, and our food was cooked perfectly.     I would strongly recommend going here and it will on the to visit especially for special occasions. We went for my wife’s birthday 🎂 with friends and they were very accommodating . We had a few extra guests and they accommodated us which made her day. The staff are very helpful and wonderful. Great service and not over priced. Very good food and you get great food at an affordable prices. The atmosphere is amazing and great setting for its location. I would strongly recommend .

    We are so glad that our friends wanted to meet us. Between the four of us we had two ribeyes and two New York strip. I ordered my ribeye medium rare and for me, it was a little over cooked but the taste was still excellent. Our sides were grilled asparagus, brussels sprouts, and mushroom risotto. All were excellent and we would order again. We are hoping to get back in a couple months.

    Really a super nice setup. Contemporary chic -- very knowledgeable staff. Food and drink top shelf. Connected to the Cobblestone Hotel which looks awesome itself. Definitely a special night out kind of place that's kind of hidden. I hope more people find out about it as should be busier.

    The food was incredibly salty and soaked in butter. The potatoes were more butter and oil than actual potatoes. A steak shouldn't taste more like salt than steak itself, either. The asparagus was perfectly cooked, but that alone is not worth paying $100+ for food that we could make much better at home.

    First time choosing this restaurant. Lobster Bisque was excellent. Had the 45 day aged bone in ribeye. was good, not outstanding, but I have never had this aged steak, so I can not compare it to others. For the cost, I do not think I would order it again. My wife had the Lamb. Was good, but not earth shattering like she had in Scotland while we where there on vacation. The staff were outstanding. For the cost of the meal compared to our other visits to various spots, do not think we will be back. Not sure we would recommend to friends.

    My scallops were only cooked on one side...Thats pretty uncool. My $70 wagyu was cold to my lips. I actually ordered 2 only got one. My mothers lobster was rubbery. French onion soup was to salty. Was comped other steak and given some cake. The mush risotto was fire as was the brussels. Waiter was phenomenal and was the only reason i didn't complain. Nonetheless i left feeling i couldve cooked the food better myself. Was def quite the let down. One side cooked scallops with a sub standard sear is not a good thing. Was told it was a new crew etc. Not sure how that makes up for paying $70 for a steak that was cold. Hope they improve cuz it had potential but that execution was sad.

    This was our second time at Wissota Chophouse. The server was very attentive and kind. The only complaint with the food was the side of truffle fries were so horribly salty the kids wouldn't even eat them! I had two gift cards to use towards the total bill (for 8 of us) and they did not take off the correct amount, shorting me about $40, which is unusual since it is a computer system. I am waiting to see that the correct amount is what is processed on my credit card. I am hoping this was just an unusual occurrence for this restaurant.

As for gift cards, our system only accepts our gift cards 100% while other gift cards such as visa, mastercard, etc. our system only lets us process a certain percentage of the gift card if any at all. We are looking at a new system for the restaurants to make the process much smoother!
