Went to Winvian for lunch on a very breezy sunny day, which made it super nice! Ate outside, food was great and had a real nice time! We absolutely enjoyed the dessert which was so nicely presented! :)

The entire staff should be complimented on making our lunch visit a rare pleasure. The attention to detail and friendly interactions made us feel “at home” and welcome. The Chicken Paillard was perfectly executed, moist and flavorful. The gravy was delicious and subtly complimented the grilled chicken and vegetables. The dining venue has an extraordinarily unique history and ambiance. The resort “campus” has individual themed cottages of notable design. We live about 1.5 hours away yet the drive is well worth the experience. Well done! We look forward to returning.

My arancini d Riso were delicious, as good as I remember them in Italy. My Paillard delectable, and the accompanying mushroom , asparagus , artichoke medley ...divine. Eating at Winvian is always a delight, the scenery and ambiance so lovely. My dining partner has a gluten intollerance. Not much was on the menu she could eat, we tried to ask for help, got a 26$ burger patty on a piece of lettuce and a slice of tomatoes. I understand its difficult to substitute but charging the full 26$ for a portion of the meal was unfortunate.

Our meals were prepared perfectly. Great flavors, colors and textures. Cant wait to go back in the summer months to enjoy another awesome dinning experience outdoors overlooking the beautiful landscaped setting.

Winvian is a special place, tucked away in the northwest hills in the tiny little town of Morris where nobody would know it was there in an area surrounded by farms and estates. The grounds are spectacular and the food beyond reproach, truly world class and we've been around the world dining at the best places on the planet. Every course was spectacular and tastes exploded when you bit into every item. Staff is incredibly friendly and they work hard to please. The experience was tainted by their nickel dime approach at this elite level of hospitality, unlike most of their peer group. They don't include your after dinner coffee in the dining package and actually charged $5.00 extra for a cup of coffee when you're spending a couple hundred dollars per person for a fixed price luxury meal. That act is quite the put off to an otherwise lovely evening, but the rest of Winvian was wonderful.

It was simply amazing. Every single staff member was personable, kind and professional. The chef came out to greet and serve every table. The experience and history behind each room was incredible to hear. One of our waiters Anthony was phenomenal.

The rest of my food were excellent, except for the entree. It was salty for me, that was the reason I didn't finish it. I like the portion/size of serving. The service was excellent. A little noisy. Maybe because your regulars mostly seniors need to raise their voice a little bit. While us don't need to raise our decibel. Next time we will try your dinner. I love our server. Thank you.

A beautiful place, great food , great service. However, FYI! Lunch for 2 with 2 appetizers, bread and butter, shared 1/2 bottle of champagne, 2 main course, 1 shared dessert with 2 cappuccinos , and tip =$300.00

Didn't know what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised by my dining experience. Consensus amongst my guests at lunch was that the food was absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly and after lunch showed us around the upstairs dining rooms where dinner is served. Definitely considering hosting a special occasion there in the not too distant future.

Our first time here was pleasant, we came for lunch and the food was good. We liked it enough to book the restaurant for dinner for our anniversary of our first date, a few months later. I proposed to my then girlfriend the weekend of our anniversary and came here to celebrate our engagement. The staff was friendly and welcoming aside from our waiter, who seemed to not be particularly interested in serving us. He was short with us when we had questions and seemed to assume that we should have known about their specific menu. He didn’t ask how our day was going or anything of the sort, which was frustrating because we wanted to share the news of our engagement. We ordered, and he was short with us up until the point of our payment. When we paid, we also asked to get my fiancée’s coat back from the coat check; he had us follow him downstairs to finalize the payment, rather than bring it to us while we waited at our table. Some of these notes may seem nit-picky, but when someone is paying $350 for a dinner (before tip), proper hospitality is to be expected.

The restaurant at Winvian Farm is all kinds of special. It’s hard to evaluate individual components because it is such a lovely total experience — historical setting, the typically thoughtful Relais & Chateaux attention to service, delicious, creative cuisine presented beautifully. Of course, colored by the absence of opportunities to enjoy indoor dining and hospitality during most of the Pandemic, to have the privilege to experience an evening of relaxing cocktails by the fire, followed by a leisurely four course tasting menu, delightfully exceeds the boundaries of a review. Winvian Farm is simply a special place to enjoy yourself in the hands of talented staff.

Every dish on the menu is not only a work of art by Chef Eddy but a true delight to the palate with every fresh and savory delicious bite. Staff is so friendly and accommodating, the service is always very attentive, even magical as each course is readied and served with impeccable timing.

This is a very unusual, and yet very creative Resort. The restaurant is top notch, the cabins are unlike any other we have seen. From converted helicopters to treehouses, this is a very fun experience. Two thumbs up!!

Wonderful experience at Winvian Farm. We arrived early and spent some time in the Lounge area with comfortable seating and a warm ambiance while we sipped on some champagne. The dining room was also warm and inviting with a woodsy aroma from the roaring fireplace. The service was spot on and the food perfectly prepared and presented with fabulous flavors.

Exceeded expectations. This a three course prix fixe with generous portions and amuse bouche - so we were well sated. Preparation of the food was terrific and the setting is lovely, and was quiet the night we were there - an added bonus. A lovely venue for a special occasion in NorthWest Connecticut

We arrived 1.5 hrs early for our dinner reservation on Saturday. The staff, from the voice at the gate to our waiter and hostess, was so warm and welcoming. After playing shuffleboard and having a drink fireside, we were escorted to a large round table with a pretty view. Each dish was fresh with outstanding flavor. All four of us were very impressed and happy with our choices. The chef added some intermezzo and cookies to top all the deliciousness off! Thank you Winvian... we’ll be back.

I can't believe I hadn't heard of this place before! We went here for dinner the day before Valentine's (less crowded). Valet took our car at the entrance. Service was impeccable. The place itself is set in a historic yet well maintained house from the 1700s. We got the 3 course prix fixed menu for $100 and a couple glasses from their extensive wine list. Each course was an amazing experience, interspersed with a complimentary snack from the chef. Highly recommended for special occasions!
