   Reserved igloo but received a tent. Service was good but food took a very long to come out and portions were small for cost. Odd flavors and dishes didn’t really go well together. Perhaps communal seating would’ve been better.

   Even though the description says igloo, the pictures show igloos, and the $35 charge on your receipt will even say igloo rental, you will not be sat in an igloo. You will be sat in a fully enclosed private canvas tent with one small window to see outside. If you want to sit in a plastic igloo like the picture shows, do not book this experience. If you do not want to sit in a fully enclosed private canvas tent, do not book this experience. If you would like to sit in a fully enclosed private canvas tent, definitely book this experience. But do not book this igloo dining experience with the expectation that you are booking an igloo. You’re not.

   The tent was decorated beautifully and the staff was great. We had a wonderful and romantic dinner together and looking forward to returning. The food was fantastic.

   I booked the Winterfest menu for Valentine’s dinner. The website listed it at $50 per person, plus $35 per person for wine pairing if desired. We were seated promptly in our personal tent and handed a Valentine’s pre fix menu at $70 per person with no wine pairing option. I asked about the Winterfest menu and they stated they weren’t doing that menu because of Valentine’s Day and they tried to contact all of the reservations to let them know that. I didn’t receive any sort of notification about that. Long story short, I was then on the hook for $40 more total for the night (plus price difference of drinks since there was no pairing option). Obviously leaving and going to eat somewhere else was not an option at the last minute. The food was good, the atmosphere was great, but the service was quite slow, which is understandable given the holiday. I’d say overall it was an average to below average experience given the slow service and inconvenience of a higher bill.

   It was just as wonderful as I imagined it’d be despite the rainy day. The staff offered outstanding service!

   The restaurant was wonderful and good for the value. It’s a quaintly situated home in NoDa and the food was so fresh! I would definitely some back again. The only snafu were ran into was scheduling the igloo dining - we never actually got our seat but we actually were relieved because the inside seating was nicer and warmer. The staff was very friendly and definitely were immediately willing to change it as soon as they noticed. I would definitely recommend them.

   I have been to The Goodyear house a few times before and their food and drinks have been excellent. I was so excited booking one of these igloo experiences for my 3 friends visiting from out of town. I was sad to find out once we showed up for the reservation that the experience was not an igloo but the tents someone had mentioned about in previous years. It was my understanding that it would be an igloo and not a tent. They tried to make the tent look homey and cute and it was a fair effort but some of the decorations were broken or not holding up in the tent. Our waiter was fantastic and incredible. He was very attentive and friendly making the experience much better. Food was delicious but the drinks were only ok, especially for the price. I would recommend this place for a normal lunch or dinner, not for this particular experience they were trying to put on.

   I really had no idea what I was booking when I made this reservation. I did not do my homework— I was just trying to book a table somewhere with a patio because the weather was nice. I did not realize it was restaurant week, and I did not expect to be seated in a private tent for a 3top table. That being said, it was a really cool surprise. The service and food were both great, and it was definitely the most memorable dinner we’ve had in a while

    Bring back the igloos. The tents are not nearly as good an ambience.
