Fun fact—there’s no Winnie or Ethel here! This charming diner is the brainchild of life and business partners Aaron Lee and Mal Gott. After winning The Great Las Vegas Coffee Shop Giveaway in 2023 (like a local Shark Tank for foodies!), the duo brought their shared vision to life in the heart of Las Vegas.

At Winnie & Ethel’s, every dish tells a story. Our food is crafted from scratch by award-winning chef Aaron Lee, honored in the Las Vegas Weekly 40 Under 40. Whether you’re digging into our fan-favorite Diner Breakfast, savoring the tender flavors of our Pot Roast French Dip, or indulging in Malted Pancakes or Waffles, every bite is made with love and a nod to classic diner nostalgia.

The coffee is really good. We both ordered a cinnamon bun, it had lots of frosting, but a bit on the dough side. My over easy eggs were cold, the potatoes were good. My husband had peaches and pancakes. The pancakes tasted like too much baking soda was used. It was okay, but I don't think we'll be back.

The food was very very tasty, and large portions. The staff was fun and attentive. Overall an excellent dinner and a VERY reasonable price! I would definitely return, and gladly recommend this restaurant to friends and family!

Excellent food. We had the carrot cake pancakes, fried french toast and the southern breakfast. The andouille sausage was incredible! The fresh lemon zest on the french toast was an added layer of flavor. The french toast reminded us of churros. The white corn grits were made to perfection and the sausage gravy on the biscuits was incredibly flavorful!

We went for our nieces birthday, which was put in the notes for the reservation. No one said a word until we were literally walking out of the door and the host said “hey wasn’t it someone’s birthday?” The food was not good. I sent back my biscuits and gravy because the biscuits were very hard and the gravy had a weird consistency. It almost looked like mashed potatoes. My husband recommended as his office is nearby and they went for lunch and liked it. Maybe their lunch service is better? Really not a great experience, but it happens.
