Fun fact—there’s no Winnie or Ethel here! This charming diner is the brainchild of life and business partners Aaron Lee and Mal Gott. After winning The Great Las Vegas Coffee Shop Giveaway in 2023 (like a local Shark Tank for foodies!), the duo brought their shared vision to life in the heart of Las Vegas.

At Winnie & Ethel’s, every dish tells a story. Our food is crafted from scratch by award-winning chef Aaron Lee, honored in the Las Vegas Weekly 40 Under 40. Whether you’re digging into our fan-favorite Diner Breakfast, savoring the tender flavors of our Pot Roast French Dip, or indulging in Malted Pancakes or Waffles, every bite is made with love and a nod to classic diner nostalgia.

The best meatloaf ever. The malted pancake and southern breakfast were fantastic. Very generous portions. The service was great Quinn and Katherine were very attentive and friendly. We will be back and very happy to have found them. Make reservations.

Our server Charles gave us great service, attentive and genuine for sure :) Quinn as always kind and accommodating! The food is always outstanding as expected! My favorite breakfast spot in the entire city without a doubt! Have to give a shout to our last server as well Kathryn, she is lovely as can be. Great job Chef Aaron! We love Winnie’s!

The food was mediocre at best. The service was amazing. Our server Brandon was right on top of things. I had pork chop and eggs for breakfast. The pork chop was dry with way too much breading and very overcooked. The biscuit was mediocre and tasted as if it had been made with water instead of buttermilk, I think they forgot to add the salt to the mix. The sausage gravy tasted as if the flour had not been browned before adding the milk. It desperately needed pepper and salt. My friend had chicken fried steak and eggs. Unfortunately the steak was overcooked as well, just like the pork chop, and he didn’t like the sausage gravy either. The best part of the meal was the potatoes. There was nothing that could’ve been done to make them any better. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of food, because I had extremely high expectations. I will say the marketing is great, too bad the chef wasn’t.

Absolutely awesome! We went for our anniversary and the food to the customer service is amazing. The owner personally greets you and makes you feel at home.mwe will be back soon and bringing family this time

We were greeted by Quin as soon as we arrived and she was an absolute joy! After our party was sat down Charles our server and his trainee came and began to take our orders. I only had two suggestions that the servers should be the ones in charge of bringing out the food because that was the only confusion and frustration for our family. Overall we had a great experience and it is definitely worth the wait.

As soon as we walked in, it felt like family. We asked for a booth and got seated in under five minutes. Our waitress, Cheri, was super friendly and answered all our questions. The family photo wall was a cool touch and gave the place some real nostalgic vibes. We ordered the catfish and grits—huge portion, definitely enough for two people. If you’re in town, this place is 100% worth checking out!

It was very busy and they obviously couldn’t handle the volume of customers. Food took over 30 minutes, came out wrong and barely warm. Waitress was very sweet but extremely overwhelmed. Not worth the time or the price.
