Wined Up Wine Bar

Didn’t have food but drinks were great. Perfect martini and nice table by the window!
We had a pleasant experience. The waiter was very knowledgeable of the wine menu. Based on the taste of the food/wine, I would recommend this spot.
However, the service was lacking. We ordered three appetizers between the two of us and one of them did not come until I asked where it was (after we were nearly done with the first two). We waited a long time to be checked on by staff, and waited a long time (about 20+ minutes) for our check after we asked for it. The window seat was nice, though the windows are drafty and you can feel cold air coming through.
We started with a party of 4 and grew to a party of 10, the server was incredible accommodating and everyone had a wonderful time - thank you Wined Up for making our friend's birthday a load of fun!
Great location, good food, excellent wine selection and pricing.
Disappointing, overpriced, awful food. Skip this place
The bartender was fantastic and on point. The food was very good. Loved the guitars! The two very loud drunk women at the bar were obnoxious.
"I loved the intimate and comfortable feel. We had the margarita pizza, half bottle Saracco, Moscato d’Asti (moscato) and a bottle of Pinot Noir suggested by the waiter - who was very busy but still very pleasant. I will definitely return and look forward to trying more dishes and wine. The smaller tables were a little close but the music was at a pleasant level that you could still have a private conversation. First time there and won't be my last.
Not a tapas restaurant. Large portions.
Pretzels- 3 large frozen pretzels. and not good.
Queso- pale yellow. Didn't eat it. Friend said it was bad.
Pizza- Raw dough
Caprese salad- tomatoes shouldn't be refrigerated.
Great. Quick seating. Seemed under staffed but had a great time. Good selection of excellent wines.
One of the most enjoyable times I’ve had eating out in NYC! Lively but also pretty easy to get seated, wait staff was super accommodating, wine was great, live music was excellent and suited the vibe! Thank you!!
Great service, amazing ambiance! Thank you for making my birthday enjoyable :)
Unexpected gem. Perfect place to meet for a drink after work.
Get a res for a table and enjoy all the great wine!
We were disappointed by our experience. The service was good, but not great. The wine list was reasonable, but the pours were short and the wine glasses substandard. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but this is not the place to sample good wine in a nice atmosphere.
Great service. Great wine. Great evening. The meat and cheese platter was delicious as always.
Great food, service was very slow, but this was a Tuesday and there only appeared to be one waiter on- so they may have been understaffed. The noise level was low when we got there, but live music started around 7PM and at that point it was very hard to have a conversation. Food was delicious and really reasonable portion sizes for the price.
Excellent and very knowledgeable waiter!
I would definitely go back and recommend highly!
Great place. We were there most recently on a Monday so its was peaceful. I've been there on a Thursday and it gets quite busy and, hence, a bit louder. But overall, we highly recommend it.
Good wine list but every time I make a reservation here there is confusion with upstairs vs. downstairs etc. I do love their wine list so i keep coming back.
I celebrated my 28th birthday at Wined up and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was very classy and laid back. I ordered a glass of Rose and ended up drinking two more glasses of it. The food was very tasty and well done. My party enjoyed the food as well, I received many comments about the food tasting really good. The waiter was okay, his memory was sharp when it came down to our orders. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
Love this place! Great wine list, and delicious food! We literally drank wine and ordered several small plates to share. It was the best time.
I got really upset here as you can only have happy hour at the bar, but you can't grab drinks and sit down you must sit at the bar to eat... They explained it by having to different systems but I couldn't pay for my drinks and then just sit down at the table I reserved, but you are not allowed. Don't have happy hour at that point, but would not go back.
Although we loved Wined Up when we arrived - beautiful place, superb service, excellent food and wine, fun view...by the time we left it was so noisy that we were screaming to hear each other. We will return again and again. I will tell others about this place. But will only go early, when it is a quiet paradise in the middle of the city.
Terrific selection of wines, nice combination of wine bar along with option of seated dinner.
The service was wonderful. I appreciated the personal touches. They picked the perfect table. Our server, Rudy, was one of the best servers I've ever had. He has a lovely, friendly personality. He knew how to pace his check ins and small talk. He has an EXCELLENT knowledge of the menu. Everything that Rudy recommended was delicious. Please let Rudy know that his service is one of the reasons we stayed for hours and hours, ordering more wine and food.
Great place, great food, great service. Clearly a recommendation.
Good wine at decent prices and very well priced food. Service has some room for improvement but they were very pleasant during every interaction.
It took one hour to bring out a platter of ham and cheese - by when we were ready to leave
Great wine bar and appetizers. Love the Sancerre and ordered the gaucomole with chips. Will be back!
I was really jazzed to go here and catch up with my boyfriend after work. The most notable part of the evening was splitting a bottle of wine, which was rare as my boyfriend and I have very different red wine tastes.
It didn't seem as if there was a host/hostess - it took me a bit to get seated despite being nearly empty on a cold Monday night, and the servers rarely came to us. The server got our order wrong, and we had to remind them of the second half of our order.
The food was ok, but there is better food to be had in NYC.
Mainly go here for the wine.
Horrible place; they must up our reservations then the food was not good!!!! Don't waste your money on this place.
Loved the two wines we drank. We tasted them before we decided on them. I got Sancerre and my husband chose Chenin Blanc. We also ordered gaucomole ( great) and chips, edamame and white bean and pita.
Cant wait to go back. We might just stay for dinner. The food menu had enough to chose from to be satisfied.
The food was disappointing.
Always love this place. Can always count on it for great glass of wine. Good service, never too crowded or loud
This is a lovely place for just about any type of get together, but Rudy, the bartender (manager?) is truly a reason to go in-and-of-himself. Personable, funny, knowledgeable, and conscientious. Viva Rudy!
food and wine -- menu and list, respectively -- very good...interesting without being weird and the quality terrific. The space (upstairs a flight of long and carpeted stairs) is British-barlike, attractive, though many of the tables (in rows) are squeezed tightly next to one another. The crowd is mostly 30's, 40's, but also older wine-interested people, a nice mix. We went for dinner, but it would be a great spot for just wine and cheese/charcuterie, and healthy apps too.
This was a great find! Nice happy hour, nice smal plates, good service and sophisticated ambiance. Centrally located to many subway lines.
Overall was great. Some of the tables are very close together though, which can make it feel like you're also on a date with the table next to you.
Don’t eat here. Food was sub par and cleanliness of restaurant was questionable. Won’t ever return
made a reservation for the wine bar but evidently even with a reservation they didnt have room for us, so we were put downstairs in a regular bar next to a bathroom.
I made a table reservation for 10 for Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 7:00 pm. When we arrived there, there was no table, they reserved some chairs on the Bar. They said “we have a private party and the bar is all we have”. It seems they have a pattern for disregarding reservations and not calling customers to notify. Food was average, so overall very poor experience.
