Thanks for a great dinner! Our server messed-up our dessert order and then compensated by brining our original order plus the dessert he recommended most. Its these little things that make you appreciate a great service.

Return trip was very disappointing. Menu revised since first visit with fewer more ordinary choices. Food quality and preparation was just ok. Service alternated between unfriendly and disinterested. It was a real let down after first experience , place has a real whiff of failure now.

Great neighborhood find. Food is terrific. Wine was terrific. Service was terrific. Went with two friends for early dinner during the week. Got a suggestion on the wine that was spot on to go with seafood dishes on the menu. All in a very nice experience.

A very cool, hip place, yet not at all snooty. Interesting wine selection, good food. Nice people.

The food was delicious (grilled octopus, ragu, pea/ricotta ravioli with mint and a pizza for the kids) and the servers were very helpful. While they don't have traditional premium vodkas (Grey Goose, Belvedere, etc.) the staff suggested a boutique vodka from Colorado that was excellent. The wine list is mostly European - no California Cabernets.

Was so excited to try this place only to show up and sit at our table 15 minutes without being waited on....and the place was empty. We got up and left...never ate. So sad!

This restaurant was nice to duck into for a quick meal, but I'd strongly recommend going for the appetizers. The pasta was too al dente (I like mine al dente; this was simply undercooked) and the portions were modest at best. Our waiter was a bit standoffish and rarely smiled. Prices and wine selection were decent.

I've worked in this area on 7th Ave in the high 20s for years and we finally have some terrific restaurants. Went to Wine Disciples on a slow Monday evening so take that as a caveat. It wasn't noisy and the service was extraordinary, but there weren't many people there either. We split 3 dishes and they plated them very nicely in the kitchen. Every dish was terrific -- The warm radicchio salad , the fregola pasta with lamb ragu. The haddock was just a bit dry.

Unlike Lupulo down the street, this mid-block restaurant isn't crowded with wanna-bees, but the confident been-there, done-that group. Consequently, everything works. No drama. Just a very nicely curated wine list and some pleasant dishes. The only reason it's loud is because of the hard surfaces.
