Very professional. Great food and great service.
Went there for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly. Everything was delicious!
This has been our "Go To" place for many years and will continue to be for years to come. We live out of town now but whenever we are back visiting we must go to Wine Cellar a minimum of 2-3 times. The waitstaff are always so courteous and accommodating and never rush you. Food is always wonderful and plenty of it. We especially love the Chicken Picata and the fondues!
Good lunch menu, excellent service other than trying to sell older people who eat lightly too much food and drink, good ambiance. Haven’t been here for a long time. A nice reminder of such a nice place to eat.
Waiter was amazing. All food and drinks were great except for the ribeye. It wasn’t anything to write home about.
Wine Cellar is always great and the service and drinks are awesome!
Lots of food choices.
Great food and service
We came in for a birthday brunch. Waiter was nice but seemed unorganized. We asked for mimosas but once our food arrived we were never asked if we would like more drinks or if our food was ok. We asked for the bill and he came back with desert menu’s...what?? Overall disappointing for our birthday girl. Our group won’t be returning
Great food and wine! The ambiance at our corner booth/table was perfect. Our server was EXCELLENT! I wish I could remember his name.
Food and service was wonderful. Only down side was when we asked to move to bigger table as we were placed in tight booth for party of five, we were seated at a table for 4 and they added extra setting/chair which wasn’t much bigger.
First time visiting - enjoy an excellent meal - all four of us had a great time.
Food was excellent as expected. Slightly noisy at the beginning but got better later on.
Always a very good meal at the Cellar. Waiters are experienced and very good. The food is plenty and cooked just right.
I’ve eaten here at least 4 times before and had wonderful food and service. It has been a special place to go with my 92 year old mother when I am in town. This time, however, the service was slow and I was always looking for the waiter. The food was good, but not great, perhaps it was because it was lunchtime not dinner? We had a shrimp salad and chicken piccata. Sometimes the dessert will rescue a lackluster meal but not for this meal. The apple tart was cold and the crust was soggy, not what I expected when served á la mode. What made me feel worse about the quality of the dessert is that I had asked the waiter whether the apple tart or the tiramisu was better. He said that most people did not eat the crust of the tart but that there were no ladyfingers in the tiramisu, an answer which I understood to mean neither dessert was great. My mother, an artist, said her berry dessert was not arranged attractively, a very small criticism, indeed, but something we had come to expect at this restaurant. I wondered if the waiter gave us slow service because he expected a small tip from two older women. A very nice bus person was the one who brought me a coffee finally when our waiter disappeared again. We were sad that our special luncheon had been ruined.
This is one of my favorite places to eat. Everything on the menu is worth trying. I love the tune tartare and fondues. The drinks are spot on and the wait staff is always friendly. They are opening up another part for large parties in the future which will be a great place to have larger events.
Excellent all around
Great as usual.
Fun to sit on patio with friends. Food was OK but not special or creative. Good wine and drink choices. Service was exceptional -- waiter let us chat and didn't rush us in any way. Really nice!!
Wonderful experience and service as always.
Weeknight dinner for four of us was very good. Steaks, Duck and Ahi were all perfectly cooked and delicious. Attentive service, appetizers, entrees and deserts were at a good pace. We were there for about two hours.
Had an excellent lunch.
Fantastic brunch and excellent service. Very relaxing to sit at the patio and enjoy my eggs Benedict. I’ll do this again and again.
Food is always consistent, servers are a pleasure to deal with, drinks are great. Lovely atmosphere. one of my favorites for many years now.
This is a lovely restaurant and the abalone was incredible! I will be back for that alone. Loved that we could get corkage fee waved on Monday night, which made it a bit more affordable. It's expensive, but a nice splurge. Hostess paid no attention to our request for a booth -- she said she knew we requested a booth, but she'd just given the last one away. I didn't push, but if you make a reservation and that request, then they could say we can't promise. If she had said we don't reserve booths it would have made sense. As it was, I felt like she was saying we got there too late to get what we wanted. So the hostess was off putting, but after that everyone was charming.
If you enjoy drinking special Manhattans, this is the place! The food was delicious too. We shared the scrumptious beet salad-just perfect! We each ordered an entree which were huge. Kind of wish we had just ordered one and split. The food was perfect-short ribs and Macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi. The wine pairings were perfect with the entrees. The only problem was the server started out kind and offered great suggestions. But it was my husband's 80th birthday and we never saw a dessert menu after waiting a long time. Finally, a bowl of ice cream with a candle arrived at the table and we had to ask for the check.
Great food in huge portion. Service was excellent, too. Would like to come again.
Te best thing about this restaurant was the service, and wonderful attention from waiters.
Next best things are dessert, and salad!
Great food and drink! Love the patio ambiance! We had a terrific waiter who took great care of us! Thank you!
Five plus baby for Sunday brunch..... eggs Benedict was served cold. Menus were dirty, cutlery was dirty.
Waiter was rude, slow, inattentive, and just plain bad. We had ordered apps and main courses at the same time and asked that the apps come first. Later he came back and asked us to remind him what we had ordered for the main course! He misjudged the distance to the table with my wine glass, letting go about an inch above the table. He failed to deliver my friend's wine until about halfway through the meal. Yikes.
Food was delicious. We waited for a patio seat, but it was worth it because it was a beautiful day. Did I mention the food was delicious!!
Our food took over an hour to get, so we were really upset. And when I got my food, it was cold. The server had to take it back. He brought us free ice cream to make up for it though. The drinks were great and fast, so props to the bartender.
Wine Cellar never disappoints. Went there several times and tried different things and chef work is outstanding. Good service and interior
Great food, great service, just too loud
I always enjoy the Wine Cellar. Good food, but especially good atmosphere and wait staff.
The food was absolutely amazing!!
The menu was amazing, I had a very difficult time trying to figure out what to try first. I had the ribeye steak and it melted in my mouth. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
We met long time friends for lunch, we sat outside in the patio area. A nice view of downtown Los Gatos.
The food tasted great, the wait person did a fantastic job and kept our drinks refilled. The entire experience was as we expected and would reccomend this to anyone.
Poor food. Over cooked duck. Disappointing
By the time we'd been sat down and told the specials (with totally off-hand manner and inability even to make eye contact), we'd decided the service was so bad that we didn't even bother to stay and order. Certainly not at those prices!
