Wine Bar at the Marketplace
Great food and great service! Our party of 4 went to grab a drink and a bite before a concert. We had a reservation for 6:15 and were promptly seated at a high top table. The vibe is very cool with linen napkins and beautiful flowers on every table. Our server gave us excellent recommendations. We picked a bunch of apps and the girls ordered the organic Pinot Grigio, guys ordered Sam Adams. They do a great twist on eggplant parm with the eggplant cut into ribbons. We also got the meatballs, roasted peppers and prosciutto and the charcuterie board with 5 choices (3 cheese and 2 meats.). All delicious. Prices were super reasonable for the Borgata. We will definitely go again.
Been there a few times. Excellent once again!!! Great food, great value!
We really enjoyed our dinner at The Wine Bar downstairs at the Borgata. We had a reservation and were a party of nine. Very nice staff. The menu had great options for everyone. We shared delicious flatbreads, two trios (hummus, tzatziki and artichoke dips), Mediterranean beans and the housemade mozzarella. The mozzarella was outstanding. For dinner many of us chose salads which were large and plentiful, plus some chose Eggplant Parmesean and other options. Nice cheese selection and nice wine selection. Ambiance is interesting since there is a food court next to the restaurant, but we didn't mind at all. Value was terrific. We will return.
Second time we've eaten at the Wine Bar, and it just gets better. ( we are bringing friends next weekend) Great food, and the staff and chef are friendly and know what they are doing!! Highly recommended.
We have been several times and usually look forward to it. However, this time around the service was poor and slow. The chef came over and gave us attention, so we did like that. However, the poor service somewhat ruined our experience.
Very good last night
It was just excellent on every level!
Highly recommend! The happy hour was an incredible deal. Food was exceptional. The service was great too. Location is in the middle of the food court aka "the marketplace" but that didn't bother us one bit. There is a curtain separating the two areas. Go here for a casual Italian experience meeting or surpassing many Italian restaurants in the NJ area!
Hidden gem at The Borgata.
A great Birthday dinner with family !!!
Overpriced and in a food court. The staff was inattentive and we had to send food back to the kitchen. Salads were terrible and included frozen chicken. Do not go here
If you don't want to go to the casino's fine dining restaurants and buffet or fast food doesn't work either then try this place. Limited menu, but relax with the tapas style selections or homemade pasta in laid back atmosphere. Afternoon happy hour added plus.
Group of 6 ladies went here for dinner before a night out. Food was great, wine selection was great and our server was very personable. Location is a bit strange as it’s in the middle of a mall type food court but we were genuinely surprised with the quality of everything.
Definitely where you want to eat at the Borgata, without spending too much, without feeling nasty afterward.
This is definitely kind of a hidden gem in the Borgata; it's downstairs in the "Marketplace" area, sort of tucked underneath a corner of the casino. Compared to the rest of the casual restaurants on the property, the price is great, and the food was terrific. Great service too!
Food and service were good. Happy hour prices were great. Eggplant appetizer was yummy. Wine was okay. We’ll be back.
Tried the $30 3-course dinner, very satisfying! Tasty Caesar salad, my wife had beef and pasta while I tried the lobster ravioli. Both were great although my ravioli could have been a bit hotter (her entree came steaming while Mine was just warm - still delicious however). The cannoli dessert for two was quite small but a good ending. Our server was very courteous, attentive and made sure we received our food quickly as well as got us on our way to a show in Borgata with plenty of time. Only real complaint I had was how difficult it was to find the restaurant in the first place.
A hidden gem in the Borgata marketplace... great food, great staff. Would definitely go back to this place....
Really enjoyed casual atmosphere and great food. Loved the selection!
Originally when I found out that this was located in the middle of a food court, I was not fond of our dining choice and wanted to back out. But dining here ended up being a very great decision. We were looking for something different and we certainly got it here and I mean that in a good way. It is a unique experience that we haven’t found elsewhere in AC. The food was delicious and the staff are all very kind. I highly recommend sitting at a high top table.
Great affordable option at the Borgota, limited menu but all selections were delicious . Fabulous service .
Worst service ever.
The absolute worst service in my life! My waitress was Tanya N.
The "chef" was actually mopping while we were eating.
