Wine + Garden
Beautiful location! Wednesday was ladies night and wine glasses are half price!
Terrible food. Nice atmosphere
Great wine. Great ambiance.
Great food, ask for fire table! Friendly and quaint. Fun flight of white wines!
Amazing ambiance. Manager/Owner came over to check on us, made small talk. Great staff. Fantastic wine selection.
Beautiful outdoor setting in garden/courtyard. Excellent service and food; owner even check by few times remembering a small detail of where we were both from. Small touches like that make the difference!
Love love love love love this place!!!
Outstanding ambiance, professional staff from the moment you’re greeted. Don’t take for granted all the open times shown on the OT app, the place was packed when we arrived. Regardless we were seated right away and staff was very appreciative of our reservation.
The place is beautiful and cozy. The food is great. Unfortunately, the service was poor. There were several tables that were waiting a very long time for the waitress to come over ,or waiting to long for their food. Patrons got up and left next to me.
We love this little gem in our neighborhood!
Was there this past weekend and was a little disappointed. Service and food were off. Perhaps some staff didn’t show up?!?
I will be back soon and hope they are up to their usual awesome standards.
Love this place...will definitely bring all my friends and family
It was perfect! The ambience was So peaceful and romantic! My husband abd I loved it! Right down to roasting marshmallows for our s’mores at our fire pit table! We have been to all the tourist restaurants and this was by far our favorite!! Can’t wait til next time!
Love the atmosphere. Great happy hour! It is our go to romantic, peaceful place while on vacation in FLL.
It is a very walkable and local restaurant for me which is great. The setting is unusual but terrific. You eat outside in a very lush tropical setting . The service is great and the food is good. The wine selection is varied and good value for the money. I wish it had a liquor license because I don’t always want to have wine when I go out. However, the atmosphere and setting makes up for no liquor.
Great establishment. Loved the ambiance and atmosphere from the intimate lighting to the firepits. The only drawback was that our food took over an hour and twenty minutes to arrive after we ordered. Some complimentary slices of warm bread would help to ease the wait time.
This was my second visit and the owner is great but our server was not informative or pleasant. When we inquired about menu items the response was, "I can't tell you more than what's written on the menu" and when asked about a particular wine (we bought 2 bottles) the response was, "It's good" Really? that's not selling it or knowledgeable. I would think a wine bar would have better trained staff to describe wine beyond, "Good." They have a limited menu and were out of a lot of dishes. Too bad I really loved this place when I visited last year and it was an embarrassing disappointment when I brought friends to revisit.
Very nice atmosphere, good service and amazing food, highly recommended.
Seated next to an uncovered water meter, but the vines and string lights made it appear ok. Service was very good , but the food was prepared ahead and who likes a filet mignon that tastes like leftovers with a gravy to help mask this? Furthermore I asked for bread and all they could give us was crackers which tasted stale. The owner was very nice , apologetic as this was a what I gather a quick throw together New Years Eve dinner menu and event, since they are normally closed on Tuesday. Hopefully, their regular menu far exceeds this dining experience but we won't be back.
I wanted to love this restaurant. The owner was kind and attentive, explaining that they were one server short. No big deal. The Garden is charming but the food was horrid. My husband had Chicken Marsala and the chicken was thin, tough and inedible. I asked for a Caesar Salad with very light dressing and Salmon. Salad was swimming in dressing. Salmon was overcooked and a little smelly (I'm from the coast of Maine - I know good seafood). Our server seemed to have limited English skills so maybe she didn't understand...but still. We won't return.
Charming little restaurant, delicious food.
Very nice restaurant a block off to the main line. Great food and nice ambience. Bar server, Michelle, was fantastic. We visited there twice — once for a family dinner and then again for a happy hour. Neither disappointed! Had the chance to spend some time talking with Gregor, the owner, who made the visit even more special.
If you can get a chance to speak with the owner, Gregor, when you are there he really can give you context about his restaurant and make it an evening you will never forget. The garden part of Wine + Garden is one of its defining features and what makes this restaurant worth going back to. It is a great spot for a date night on a Wednesday, but get there early so you can get your pick of spots, although all the tables and books have their own particular appeal. Really a great night out
Service has declined.
a little hidden gem one block west of the beach. the atmosphere is unique for fort lauderdale- there should be more places like this! an enclosed outdoor courtyard surrounded by some foliage & string lighting. the staff is very friendly and accommodating. they were happy to modify menu items for vegans.
Thank you for your review and for coming in. I hope to see you here again soon. Cheers //Greger
it was just too hot and humid there! should have chosen indoor dining that time
Hidden local restaurant. The owner is so nice and very attentive. I went with three girl friends and we had a lovely time. Loved the ambiance of the space, the area is surrounded with trees and they have a small lounge seating with a fire pit. The food was really good and they were super accommodating with my friend's request of a vegan pizza. It was perfect.
Hi Jashira. Thank you for coming in and it makes me really happy that you had a good time. As you can tell, this restaurant is my baby. I hope to see you soon again. Let me know when you in next time. //Greger
Excellent , quiet atmosphere to enjoy good wine with good food. I would recommend it to all friends and family.
It was so good we returned the following evening , which was a Sunday, only to find it was closed.
Delicious food with great outdoor ambiance. Cheese board was very large with great meat selection.
This place has great potential. It’s quite charming.
Service was ok, waitress was not very friendly. One of the cheese on the platter was still frozen and the crackers were definitely not fresh. Pizza was good.
Would I go again or recommend a friend. Only to have a glass of wine.
The location is cute and kitschy. Unfortunately, this was a meal reheated from Costco. Everything was over salted, not fresh and came from a package. We started with charcuterie - it was thick prepackaged meats and enormous chunks of cheese. difficult to eat. It came with 4 stale sesame crackers. We tried the antipasto, which came straight from a jar - cubed salami, olives, a few veggies. It was so cold the olive oil was congealed. We decided the skip any pastas and try the pizzas. Sadly, no better. Premade crusts and limited toppings. To top it off, the wine was warm. The restaurant is called Wine Garden. At a minimum, I expect them to respect the wine and serve it properly. Don't waste your money or time - too many good restaurants out there.
Charming hidden gem. The food was delicious and we were served by a lovely, friendly waitress. I had the Penne and my husband & daughter had the Bolognese. We'll be back!
Server was definitely new and wasn’t great with understanding English. Pizza was amazing and tomato salad was just ok, you can tell that everything is made to order and super fresh ingredients! Flies buzzing around and not the cleanest spot we’ve ever been to. Definitely a topsy turvy review but that was the experience.
Wine list wasn’t very extensive and quality of wine was okay
We always have a great time when we ‘re here. Beautiful and vibrant atmosphere!
Wonderful environment, as if we were in Europe. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the wine and pairings. Highly recommended for a date night. The two of us shared the meat and cheese platter and a pizza! Perfect amount of food for two. Will visit again next time we are in FL.
We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and food was good. Loved the appetizer plate!
Our server was fantastic!
This was a great find! Wonderful al fresco dining. Wine flights were a fun option. Food was very good. Will definitely go again!
