   The daily special was beef bourgignon - which was bland , without flavour and extremely dry/ tough meat - served on a huge portion of fettuccine noodles . We sent it back . The replacement meal was ok . The staff were busy setting up tables and washing floors which distracted From the ambiance of what could have been a reasonable experience. Cafeteria style ambiance. I do think the empty wine bottles stacked along the wall unit are a health and safety violation and attract the many flies in the restaurant. Disappointing.

   Faded glory. Furnishings were old and well worn. Poorly staffed: one waitress who couldn't keep up. Tablecloth stained, and glasses covered with film. View of bay obstructed by dockage of large boats. Shrimp scampi with vegetables was colorful and fresh. Fettuccine alfredo was pedestrian, and grilled chicken dry. All in all an uninspiring experience, not to be repeated.

   Sunset dinner for four friends overlookimg the Marina. Indoor window seating in an uncrowded setting guaranteed quiet conversation. Service was attentive and prompt. Food was first class and expertly presented. Wine list is extensive and prices are good value. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone appreciating solid American fare. P.S. Outdoor dining is available.

   Our server didn’t seem too happy to be there. Menu was average as was the food. Veal Oscar was on the tough side, stuffed shrimp was better. Would have loved to try the special of stuffed haddock, but our server didn’t share that option with us. The special complimentary dessert was a nice touch. Wouldn’t go again.

   For the price, the food was not great. Filet was overdone, Mahi mahi special, was not special and who needs 1/2 lb. of meatballs but no sauce on spaghetti? Just not a good meal.
