If you're looking for a unique dining experience....this is definitely the place!

The numerous menu choices are wonderful, and make your decision very hard. But that's a great problem for a restaurant to have.

Cool place with live music. Food was ok. I ordered the tandoori half chicken and when it arrived I thought they served me a 1/4 chicken. Good thing my wife didn’t eat all of hers. She ordered the orange chicken and it was good. We had a side of rice to with it. The martini I ordered came with the smallest olives ever. It has a lot of opportunity but it isn’t quite there yet

Excellent food and ambience. Though the menu was limited for vegetarians, the starters were good and Kulchas were also awesome.

What a beautiful space overlooking the water at Grandscape! We opted to sit at the bar where there were 3 bartenders who were unbelievably attentive, friendly and worked well together. I tried Brine Damage, which I was told was not for everyone. It tasted like a pickle with a note of sweet in the end. Different and tasty! I had the lead belly marg and it seemed like a basic marg. Not all drinks online were available. We had the wings, Texas Twinkie’s and naan for starters. Wings were basic wings but the twinkies! Yum. The naan was the finest naan I have tried. Hubby has been to India and said it was just as good. We felt we needed two orders of it. Hubby is on a diet and asked to get the pork chop without sauce and medium rare. The manger said they could not do that because of health code. Hubby begged then not to overcook it. It was so overcooked he couldn’t even eat it. Manger offered to take it off but we said no...should have said yes...so he offered dessert on the house which actually wasn’t. I ordered the ribeye. This was a very fine steak cooked to a perfect medium rare. Delicious! Our sides of broccolini were dry but ok. My potatoes were undercooked but the dill sauce and pork belly that came with them were great! Dessert was the chocolate cake. It was good. The bartender made me a water lily and fussed over the beautiful lemon garnish. It was delightful. We cannot wait to go back and have the chaat and some bourbon drinks!

Very disappointing... picked this venue for Mother’s Day to celebrate my wife based on very positive reviews. The menu looked great and we were excited.
Our appetizer took a solid 40 minutes to arrive which was surprising but we assumed our mains would come quickly after. Nope.
Eventually our daughters main arrived but with nothing else. 15 minutes later she’d finished and we were still waiting. Our waiter never once came to explain what was going on. Meanwhile tables who had been seated 30-40 minutes after us were digging into their mains.
At this point we told the waiter to forget our order and bring our check. What food we could see other tables receiving looked great and smelled good but after almost 90 minutes we’d had enough.
A member of staff has reached out since and asked for an opportunity to make things right but we won’t be in a rush to return. What a shame.
The manager did also waive the balance of our check but this was still one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’d rather pay for a mediocre meal than not pay for service of this quality.

The live music was great - maybe a little volume control would have been perfect. Was a tad too loud.

It was Mother's day - so it was packed and the kitchen, I am sure was backed up. The staff did the best they could and they did great.

The food was great as usual. The starters are spot on - Kulchas are the best and the Sheekh Kebabs are succulent. They should put Kathi rolls as a regular dish as opposed to no certain days only - certainly on the weekends. The Potatoe Tikki Chaat was also great. The Kerala Beef fry disappointed, but that's not easy to pull off when you tend to succumb to pleasing local palate (the spice level) - there are some dishes, you just need to maintain the authenticity, else don't put them on the menu. The Texas Twinkies - spot on ! The Veg Kofta - huge disappointment - Way too sweet. Again a failure on account of trying to please the local palate. Whereas the Dal was wonderful. So really a mixed bag, but more good than misses.

The beers are a really very good. I tried the Imperial Stout and the Coffee Porter - both were excellent. I did try out their Old Fashioned the last time I was there for dinner - did not disappoint

The manager walked around and handed flowers to all the ladies - great touch !

Loved the atmosphere, food and music. It's a very unique space with the stage and the band. Service was a little slow but attributing that to it being busy on Mother's Day.

Really love this place overall. The food, beer, wine, atmosphere, and service are far above average. Just wish they would offer options for vegans and those with food allergies. Surely, with all of the creative dishes offered, they could come up with equally great options for people somewhat out of the mainstream diet.

Servers should understand basics about dietary restrictions. Food was fine. Very over priced for what we got. Beer was good. But they got several of our beer samplers wrong so we are not sure which beers were our favorite favorite. It was our anniversary and not acknowledgement from the restaurant.

Windmills is a fairly new restaurant, but is a wonderful experience (think a night at an upscale jazz club). The seating area is designed with acoustics to enhance musical performances at the front of the area. When we went, there was just lovely music in the background. It is open and airy (offering a peek at the craft beer tanks up above) and intimate at the same time, with books lining 2 walls and available for guests to enjoy.

The offer a nice selection of hard-to-find bourbons for that special evening. The food presentation is flawless, as were the recommendations made by our attentive server.

The Orange Zest Chicken Kabob was suggested as a starter. It was wonderful! It was a tiny bit spicy (I'm a spice wimp) and, when we order this again, we will get a side of naan to mellow the spice.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I wanted something light. Our server recommended the Vegetable Kofta with a side of Basmati rice. I had never had Kofta before, but trusted her suggestions. It was amazing!

The only hiccup of the evening was undercooked risotto on one entree. While we hated sending it back, we really had to. But let's face it: Some of the best information in a review lets you know how a problem is handled. They didn't skip a beat. The server apologized (of course, it was not her fault!) and took it back. The manager and owner both stopped by our table to let us know they were working on the order in the kitchen. But they both thanked us for letting them know so that they could be sure it did not happen going forward (which is a great outcome for both guests and the restaurant).

We will absolutely go back. Pricing is such that you could pick items to make it a moderately priced dinner. There are also some items that can turn your evening into a memorable event. The best of all worlds!

Sunday morning, 75-80° outside and blue skies so we wanted someplace where we could enjoy the weather and view. Windmills has a wonderful outdoor seating area and we luckily snagged a table. Incredibly busy and we did have to wait a little bit for service. But because we were outside enjoying the weather, we didn’t mind. (Also, we could tell that they did not have enough servers and I understand most restaurants have that problem today. That certainly is not the server’s fault.) Our server gave excellent service. Very nice young woman and extremely patient with several large parties around us. We went for the Indian side of the menu - having spent two years in India, I can say that the tandoori chicken and Indian broccoli were outstanding. Beautiful presentation.

You were not busy this afternoon and yet your service was slower than a snail. To make it worse, your waitress had to be called several times and she would be hard to find.

Above all this, you were testing your sound equipment’s for a concert at top volume with guests seated and dining.

Your Moscow mule always needs an extra shot to feel normal. Why saving pennies when you claim to be fine dining. Tandoori broccoli was average at best.

I visit your place at least once a week.. and have recommended it to several friends. Today’s experience shows you are unable to sustain the quality.

Order came out wrong and was not handled well. After we finished our meal , which we shared since only one salad was done properly, they brought us a corrected item, but we had already eaten! It was not dealt with at the beginning and could easily have been a good experience. But it was instead very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend.

No energy in servers, they were looking extremely tired and exhausted. At 1.30pm, when we ask to do some small variation in dish, they told that they are transitioning for dinner, and they can’t do anything. I am surprised to hear that at 1.30pm. Overall very bad experience, tasteless food, full of oil. Over-rated and over-priced. Not recommended if they offer at 25% of their prices too.

The food was very good, the IPad menu needs some help, needs a favorites button where while you are searching you can save items that interest you to refer to when the wait staff returns its not very convenient scrolling back and they are probably losing sales because people are not remembering what they were interest in, also having to share it with 3 other people makes it a little complicated. The beer was good but had no head what so ever, would I order it again? Probably not, but if someone offered it to me.... sure. I feel they are missing out with non alcohol drinkers by being a brewery and not offering a Root beer made in house with some added inspired flavor. The rest of their drink menu needs to be expanded they offer 6 house drinks which didn't inspire.
Again the food was very good and we were happy with what we ordered, but at a $129.00 for 3 people it needs to hit all the marks to make us come back.
