   Very basic limited menu. Children’s pasta was small and dry with some cold coagulated cheese on the top hardly any sauce. The £20 curry was clearly a microwave job and I’ve had better from Sainsbury’s. The breakfast buffet was fine for continental elements, but the hot options were poor. The bacon was clearly cheap and a mass of fat and rind, eggs ok, cheap sausages, coffee dreadful. Why cheap out on the ingredients in your restaurant, there’s no excuse when people are paying to stay at a spa hotel. Dining room felt like a conference room with some tables shoved in it.

   Was a lovely afternoon tea for Mother’s Day food was delicious service was excellent lovely setting and beautiful place

   Basic food, underwhelming service. Burgers are precooked, so could not order medium rare. This made me suspect the rest of the menu. Ended up ordering fish and chips, nothing to write home about.

   Edible but mediocre food, friendly but inexperienced staff, huge and very chilly room. Limited menu compared with what is advertised on the website. Ate there because we were staying overnight before going on to Southampton for a cruise but wouldn’t eat there for dinner again. Breakfast the next morning, however, was actually very good. And the suite was lovely. Drinks were expensive but par for the course for a hotel. But given the usual standard of Macdonald hotels and catering we expected more. Disappointing.

   The restaurant was dated with plastic laminated menus. The staff were very inexperienced. The food was mediocre but expensive. Would rather have stayed home .

   Very good service and food. Staff pleasant and unhurried. Lovely table decorations for 80th birthday celebration (afternoon tea). A very relaxing ambience.

   The food was of poor standard, especially the salmon pate, it was just chunks of salmon, the fish and chips definitely had better. On top of that the restaurant was FREEZING, no way could you have enjoyed even a decent eal, when we mentioned this.! She just shrugged her shoulders. We regularly stay at your Frimley Hall Hotel, in Camberley, of which we can say we have always had good food. It would be interesting to read your response

   We booked a table for six and if we visited this hotel again we would certainly not visit the restaurant for dinner and cannot recommend it. It is very expensive for what you get. The burgers, for example, were very small and in a tiny bun with some poorly cooked frozen chips. Cost - £21.00 - extortionate!!!! Three small scoops of ice cream will set you back £9.00. Honestly, you get better value and presentation at McDonalds! I had a glass of house red wine which set me back £13.00. There are plenty of pubs around where you can get a better deal and meal. So disappointing and never to be repeated! We stayed at the hotel for two nights and actually enjoyed the breakfast (included in our room price).

    Very limited options for anyone with a dietary requirements and what was available was not worth the money. Staff were lovely but you could honestly get better quality at a wetherspoons.
