The food was really tasty! Lots of vegetarian options for brunch. However, we did the bottomless brunch, which is $36 (fairly reasonable on paper IMO). However, the place got pretty busy after we got there and we were unable to get service in our last hour there, and also had to wait half an hour after to get the check. I don’t blame the servers as they were fast and friendly when they were available. However, there were only two working the area, so they were too busy to get to us after the first hour. Essentially, we only received half the service we paid for. What good is a two hour bottomless brunch if you have to sit at an empty table for the last hour of it trying to receive the service you’ve already paid for? Again, want to emphasize that this was in no way the servers’ fault, but we did not get the service that we paid for. The restaurant was not staffed for a Sunday noon brunch-sized crowd.
We came for HH to show my friend what Wilson’s was like. HH deals were pretty good, The new server was great! The food was okay, nothing to be excited about. The calamari was very disappointing but We ate it because We were starving. Calamari didn’t seem too fresh, it was not crispy at all. I really enjoyed the fritters and the Brussels sprouts. Lastly, we order charcuterie. Now the charcuterie was really sad. I didn’t know that you get 9 pieces of thinly sliced meat and cheese with three apricots for $22. You get way more bread than the meats and cheese which was ridiculous. I’m sure the server went to talk to the manager about the situation but never came over to us to talk about it so whatever. So they took the board and took it off our bill which was okay with us. I definitely do not recommend the charcuterie at all. It’s not worth $22 to spend. Overall vibe was chill, and we did have a good time.
A bit loud, average but fun for a party brunch
Lovely sitting outside for happy hour
The staff was absolutely wonderful!! The food was amazing!
The food was really good but the service was not. Our server could not get the drink order right so our friend just told him to forget it after two wrong attempts. It was a simple order for cranberry juice and vodka. Our table was close to the bar and some of the people hanging out at the bar kept bumping us. The restaurant was not so crowded that this was the only place for them to stand. As I mentioned at the beginning, the food was really good.
Food was bland, and mostly uninspiring. It’s very expensive for the quality. I think the best part of my salmon dish was one of the carrots it came with. The fish just tasted like salt. My wife’s braised beef mash was almost totally tasteless. A waste of a date night.
Cold, meh food
Everything was mediocre at best. They wouldn’t sit us outside even though all of the tables were empty because those tables were only for parties of 3 or more.
Nice evening overall. Great outdoor table. Relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to management for setting it up for our party. Food was good. Service was spotty.
Hostess was very welcoming and accomodating. Food was delicious. Great experience.
My friends and I went for dinner on a Sunday evening. The location and ambiance were great. The food and drinks were delicious! We’re definitely coming back and will recommend to others.
The only thing that gave us pause was that our waitress did not know the menu and it took a little while to come check on us.
Other than that, everything was great. The servers were really nice and they were able to accommodate my friend’s picky eating.
Server was great, food wasn’t what was expected and not very good. Drinks were terrible tasting.
A nice experience. But the menu said root vegetables with no explanation what those veggies would be. I assumed it would be beets, potatoes, carrots and ordered that. I also ordered asparagus. Turns out the root vegetables were also asparagus. So had two orders of asparagus. It would have been good if the menu or the waiter could have been proactive and indicated that root vegetables were asparagus and I was in fact placing an order for two orders of the same thing. Very disappointed by the lack of attention on the menu and the service on this point. Other than that we had a nice meal.
One of the best all you can eat brunches around. Lots of healthy options and delicious food. The $4 carafe of mimosas (recommend the grapefruit) was icing on the cake. We were so full we didn't have room for the dessert that was included.
Perfect for a night out but also having dinner conversation.
Every experience I've had at Wilson Hardware has been a great one! Whether it's casual happy hour drinks with friends, or a nice sit-down dinner, I can always bet on the customer service being top-notch. The food is fresh and ever-changing, the drinks are on-point, and the overall experience is just unrivaled in Clarendon.
Food and drinks were fine but nothing special - stīck with the pub food and avoid entrees. Ambiance was odd - felt more like a bar than a restaurant.
Tuesday's half-price wine night is an excellent draw. The menu has a number of options for vegetarians. Unfortunately, the inattentive and slow service diminishes the overall experience.
All in all a decent place. The only issue I have is the service was lacking seems they forgot us.
Food was excellent. Loved the hibiscus mimosa!
The pictures shown don't really capture the type of ambience that exists; moreover, the place has an identity crisis. Trying to be a sports bar and upscale dining under one roof. My wife and I witnessed 3 couples sit at one table for several minutes and then leave..That all said, staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Can't praise them enough. Also, the upstairs patio bar is AWESOME. I would definitely go back for this.
If you go for brunch be warned...the food comes out way to fast. I am sure for bottomless brunch it is easier for them to cook things ahead, but for those diners not coming to get smashed it is a poor experience.
My daughter and I had dinner here on a quick visit and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was great, drinks were interesting and refreshing but the nicest things was the manager came by a greeted us and because I mentioned that my daughter was visiting for the night, brought us a special cocktail to celebrate. What a great touch that made the evening special. Things like this make a place
Special and we will definitely be back!
really nice place with great service. the staff is excellent, the food is really good and we will definitely go back!!
Folding table and folding chairs. Like in a church basement. Server friendly but couldn’t get the drink order correct. Food average. Won’t be back.
good quality food - good service - great vibe. Worth a visit
Incredibly loud everywhere in the restaurant. The food was predictable and trendy. Typical apps of brussel sprouts with bacon, etc. Nothing original. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food prices typical for the area. I probably won't go back for dinner although the happy hour is supposedly hopping. I was there at 7:15 and the happy hours folks were still going and loud. Young crowd.
Great service, very attentive staff, and food was delicious
Went to Wilson Hardware with a group and had a great time. They did not have cocktails that I normally get on the menu, but I ordered off the menu and they were all really good. They service was exceptional. The woman that sat us kept checking up on us and took a lot of time to sort through drinks and food. I plan on going back and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
It is good to have a nice roof top in Arlington
Industrial modern decor
But my first impression when entering the restaurant was a lazy host who could barely acknowledge us!
Then we were seated on chairs full of crumbs !
And plates and cutlery that were I cleaned properly
The food was another let down
Service is as lazy as hostess
Food took a long time and would always come out cold!!! Very expensive for the type of cuisine. Not impressed. The manager was very accommodating trying to make sure that we were comfortable bit you can’t fix the kitchen.
Our server Ben was nothing short of amazing. And our food, fantastic!
It was nice with good food but the service is slow and honestly if the menu was $5 cheaper it would even out but it’s not so it didn’t. I know they have good brunch and maybe they were just understaffed but I don’t think my friends will be going back for another meal anytime soon.
Took 20 minutes to get service and ended up having the hostess take care of us. A waiter finally came to take our order 10 minutes after the hostess did. Nothing was comped from our meals for the inconvenience. Food is amazing though!!!
Have taken advantage of their awesome brunch special before and absolutely love the food here. The service however, was less than ideal. Took a long time to get our food and even longer to get the bill, seeming as if the server forgot to put in our food. Something also always seemed to be missing or arrive a bit after the other food.
The food and the ambience was awesome....
Food needs to improve. Everything we had didn’t taste good at all. The service and ambiance are outstanding but the food must taste better.
Our server was fantastic. The food was pretty good, especially the Monsieur Hardware and Deviled Eggs and Biscuit. We did the bottomless brunch so were able to try most of the items on the brunch menu. The hibiscus mimosa was pretty tasty, too.
The food was good, but the service was a little haphazard at first. The restaurant is very short of menus, so we had to share one copy between 2 of us. That was doable, but odd. They didn’t have any Happy Hour menus for us to look at, so the server just told us what the specials were. Again, workable but odd. Why doesn’t the owner just go get some more copies printed at Kinko’s? A saving grace was the hostess who was super helpful and pleasant. The food itself was quite tasty, but it seems the vibe is more bar than restaurant.
