Wilson Cafe is our go to date night spot. Of the many times my husband and I have dined here this is the only time we have ever left disappointed. Both of our dishes were subpar in presentation, taste and quantity as well as quality. It may have just been an off night but it was certainly not the experience we are accustomed to.

We had the crab cake as an appetizer & it was AMAZING. I ordered a strawberry margarita..soo good & my husband always tries the IPA beers. Tonight in tap was the zipping pippin. We also remembered how well we liked the bloody Mary's & the 2 we shared did not disappoint. Main entree ;I had the steak & fries with a ceasear salad that was wonderful. The steak was tender & juicy. My husband has the collosall shrimp & grits & they were very very good. For dessert we took home the pineapple cheesecake & I already had a bite. We LOVE the town of Wilson & the Wilson Cafe is definitely worth the almost 2 hr drive.
