Risotto was inedible, chips under cooked, rest of food very average and not worth the price. Whole building needs to be knocked down. Staff were lovely and attentive.

Great location and wonderful old time feeling but the food was disappointing. The chips were cold and the salmon dry and overcooked

Overpriced and disappointing food. Prawn pasta was bland and tastless- prawns individually were nice, wagu burger small and average tasting, Risotto looked the colour if scrambled eggs but tasted was passable, bresettas looked underwhelming. We booked a table but waiters had to ask people to vacate so we could sit down. (No reserved sign). Very long queues for drinks... Not a pleasant experience for our table of five.

Hi Julie, thank-you for your feedback - we will pass this on to our team including Chef. As it is a Pumpkin Risotto, it does tend to look 'egg' coloured. Friday was one of our busiest days of the year so we appreciate your patience while we had a Function of 100 guests & another of 25 guests on at the same time. We look forward to welcoming you back to Willows again - as we are a family friendly venue, we would recommend a day other than Friday if you are looking for a quieter ambience.

Great to have live music but this duo was way too loud for what they were performing.

Thanks for your feedback. We will talk to the musicians about balancing their sound better in future. They play every second Friday and usually get it right, apologies if that was not the case for your visit

Trivia very good, host engaging and genial. Food ok, my schnitzel was overdone. Service was perfunctory at best. Bottle of red was a 2021 - is it not possible to carry an inventory of red with 3 years' age on them? You certainly charge enough to enable it. Not talking whites here. You asked about noise - well, two children from another trivia team were allowed to run free on one side of the venue, kicking a football and screaming whilst the trivia was underway. Really?

We pride ourselves on a great value wine list - out of the 8 Red Wines listed, 5 of them are under $50/bottle. We do also have Red Wines with more age on them - next time you're in, feel free to ask the Bar Staff & they can direct you. We are a family friendly venue, so often there are children in the venue. We look forward to welcoming you back to Willows
