   Great selection of sausage and beer. Non-meat items are also on the menu. Staff are wonderful, helping to navigate the menu choices. Service is quick. Food is reasonable.

   We sat outside on a very warm and sunny day - having an umbrella would have been great. There was also someone sitting at a nearby table, smoking away, accompanied by three loudly barking dogs, which spoiled the atmosphere a bit. But the food and drinks were good and service was very efficient and very friendly. We love their beer and their sausages and will be back, maybe to sit indoors next time (it's air-conditioned, too!).

We're working on our umbrella situation, but the wind this summer has been gale-force and has destroyed roughly 20 patio umbrellas thus far. I'm really sorry you had to deal with that smoke - smoking is strictly against the rules, and I'll remind my staff about enforcement. As far as the dogs, inside - we could do something. Outside is bit tougher to control, but loud barking is *super* irritating - so here's hoping next time is quieter! Thanks again, Jim Furman, CEO

   The food is o.k. The waiter and hostess came just over an hour and wanted our table, even though we had a reservation. As we were leaving, there were other 2 person tables they could have sat people at. Completely open tables. There was a woman dining at a 2 person table beside us. She was seated right after us, but they did not bother her. We were not loud or crazy and we spent $100.00 for dinner. This was our first time and possibly our last time here.

    Had a great experience there last night. The food is always good, but a special shoutout to the pretzels, which are outstanding, and to our waiter who was nice, fun and very good at his job!

    The food was okay. The staff had a major overreaction when a man was asking outdoor tables for money. They called the cops even though the guy walked away when asked. Please don’t call the police on Black people.

    WillkommenResponded on August 16, 2021Thanks Pete. We do not tolerate racism in any form, and are compassionate and friendly within our limits. The man was hissing racial slurs at some Asian patrons, stealing beers off tables, issuing death threats and flashing his genitals. He was slapping people as they exited Detour (the establishment across the street), shadow-boxing people, and he charged and threatened our manager and servers. He was arrested under an outstanding warrant by four officers. Race had nothing to do with it.

    Really impressed by the level of personal service. Reached out to the restaurant before our visit with some menu questions and received a very helpful reply. Received a call on the day of our reservation to confirm and talk about seating options. It was clear that Willkommen was invested in making sure our experience was positive, even on a busy holiday evening. Excellent variety of sausages served in good portions. Everything was delicious but the standouts were the spaetzle (creamy and enough to share), hot pretzels (buttery and soft) and the bratwurst and knockwurst. There were so many Black Hammer Brewing craft beers on tap -- we are already planning to go back to try some more!

    With the recent opening of the state and city, reservations are a must. The place is lovely because of the quality of food and beer. The only thing is that there was just one young lady who was both hostess and server and person who took down your order. She was amazing, I felt so bad for her because she was a one woman team but she executed the best she could. There was a crowd of people outside and that will tell you how good it is and that you need to make a reservation! Please tip well, the people who work there are great and are trying the best to accommodate the crowds.

    The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the duo with the nuremberger bratwurst and smoked hot beer sausage and a hefeweizen. It was delicious. My friend had the green with the nuremberger, which he liked. The table next to us ordered the schnitzel with a side of sausage that looked really appetizing. Next time. Overall, nice ambience, good food, good value and nice staff.

    This was my first experience dining at Willokemmen since February 2020. Keep in mind it was the first and only time I had eaten outside there . The situation with the homeless population makes it a challenge and why the ambiance was rated at just a mid level. The staff all get very high marks, and food is great. Next time I might try being seated on the Sanchez Street side .

    They are the perfect place to have outdoor seating - and we LOVED our little outdoor nook. Their partitians protected us from the wind and the privacy protected others from our loud toddlers and preschoolers. It was also a relief to be able to book a table in advance. With kids we are not going to take our chances on walk-ins. We will def be back for the inventive beer, great food and super relaxed atmosphere. Dankeschoen, Willkommen!

    We sat outside which was not a good idea as it was cold and windy, despite the sun. When it's a hot sunny day, you'll love it outside! The food was great, we had a variety of sausages and the pancakes. The pretzel bread was a bit too salty and the obatzda cheese a little too fatty but otherwise tasted good. The beer selection was also inspired. Especially enjoyed the Midnight Luau, a pineapple stout; Starshine (Trappist Singel); and Sparkle Pony, a Belgian Blonde. Would love to come back for more delicious beer and sausages!

    Things seemed a little frantic/scrambled. Also reserved an outdoor seat but a walk in just before us got it so we sat inside. Service was spotty but perhaps because there wasn’t enough help. The food was amazing though!
