I did not have a good time mainly due to bad customer service. Our waiter was not friendly or helpful at all.
This is the fifth or sixth time we have visited this location on a weekend for a late lunch. On every visit the service has been good but very slow. For example we can order a drink as soon as a waiter/waitress comes to the table. But the bar staff produce drink orders very slowly. It’s not uncommon to wait 8 - 10 mins for a simple cocktail to arrive back at the table. Followup by staff has been sluggish as well. Food and ambiance are outstanding.
Beautiful back room reservation for 5. Quiet and peaceful celebration for daughter. Waiter service excellent and precise. Manager was on hand and aware of all details.
We were not pleased with the waiting area with regards to social distancing. We arrived early so it felt like we had to wait a long time (my bad) but even still - we got no info about when we would be seated. I definitely felt like others were seated before us. Sashimi appetizer and oysters were very good. Red snapper and sea bass good. Amazing blubbery cheesecake!
We had a 7:00 reservation but when we got there, right on time, we were told they didn’t have an available table unless we wanted to eat on the patio. We opted to wait for an inside table and at 7:25 we checked with the hostess who told us that they were still trying to seat people with 6:45 reservations. Luckily, we were called within about 7 minutes. The waiter was nice and helpful but not that attentive. The food was fine but not great. I had red snapper and my husband had amberjack. The real mess happened when we went to pick up my car from the valet. There were a ton of people waiting on their cars and a bunch of new cars were waiting to be parked. There were cars blocking the valet lanes with no drivers because they had not been parked yet. We waited almost 20 minutes for my car. It was crazy and there were several small traffic jams from all the different lanes trying to merge into the valet parking area. I don’t know if they wee short staffed or what but I have never seen anything like it, especially at what is supposed to be an upscale restaurant.
We celebrated a special occasion (a birthday), and it was great! We were well taken care of, the food was excellent, and my fiancee had (in her words) "the best time". We'll make plans to dine there again, and our waiter Owen will be who we ask for!

I know COVID creates issues but our server had a large party and several other tables and needed support to give everyone the attention to make it Excellent.

Our waiter Roger was most excellent and attentive, as it was my wife’s 50th birthday.
We arrived 5 minutes prior to our 8:30 reservation time and was told that our table wasn’t ready and the hostess couldn’t advise when it would be ready.
We waited for about 25 minutes and were finally greeted. We were walking to our table only to be sat at a 3 top (when there was 4 of us). We then had to walk back to the hostess stand, wait a few more minutes, then were seated at the proper table.
Service was awful. We saw our waiter twice and constantly had to ask service runners for items.
We were seated in a private room with two large groups, so we were having to speak louder then normal to hear each other.
This was our clients first time here and we were quite embarrassed with how the evening flowed.

The food was amazing. Hands down, some of the best combination of food I have had this year. The Mac and cheese does need work; It was a bit dry. Service however, was more thank lacking in a restaurant that is considered 5 star dining. From the parking lot valet to picking the bill it, should about the standard of excellence set by the restaurant. The hostess was a little rude when I called to inform her I would be late due to traffic. Then, when my wife got her food, we had to send it back because it was cold. They gave use another plate of food, but the plate was sloppy. In my opinion, if you are not just heating up the plate, it should come out the same way it would first come out.
Lastly, the waiter took off his mask while we was talking to us in close proximity. I don’t want to sound Covid snobbish, but it could make other guests uncomfortable in this climate.
Lastly, the valet were inattentive. Neither opened the door the door for my pregnant wife.
Overall, good restaurant but I think the service has to catch up with the quality of the food
After spending more than $200 on dinner, I had a horrible experience after I left the restaurant. I left an item on the table by mistake and called back to see if it was still there. I was placed on hold three times and no one came back to the phone to respond to my inquiry. I finally called back to speak to a manager. I told him about my experience and he only made excuses for the hostess. He was rude and when I asked him for his name, he refused. I had to call back a fifth time to get the manager’s name. His name is Brian. He is a very poor customer service representative. He was aggressive and should not speak to customers in the manner I was spoken to. He definitely needs more training on customer service!
Food was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant is super nice. Javier our waiter provided excepcional services. I look forward to my next visit to this place.

We celebrated a family birthday at Willie G's last Sunday. The food was terrific and the service was excellent. Our server was on top of all of our needs and the menu variety was outstanding. Willie G's is becoming our go-to restaurant for family get-togethers. We think this is the best seafood restaurant in town.
We expected fresh food, elegant yet energetic dining and expected a higher price. We felt like the food came from the freezer and there wasn’t anything exceptional about the food. The wine was great and atmosphere was good but we were disappointed with the quality of the food.
Our service and meal was excellent. The dining room is very attractive which makes the whole dining experience even better.
We set at the bar and celebrated our anniversary. Service was outstanding!

Woke up craving eggs benedict, so we decided to dine here (Willey G's) for brunch, so I made a reservation... long story short; We were disappointed! It was pretty pack, but I think they were understaffed. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes for a waiter to greet us, then 30 minutes more for our order to be taken and we had to flag someone down to get the order taken. Our order included mixed drinks, eggs benedict, chicken and Beignets. The food was okay, not great; we were definitely disappointed. I doubt, Willie G's will be my first thought next time I'm craving brunch.
Server was very nice but it seemed too busy without additional wait staff helping. Had to wait a long time for drinks, dishes to be removed and check. Also, super disappointed that the dessert menu was so limited. We did enjoy the food very much and will return.
My husband and I haven’t gone out to dinner since the Pandemic started. I must say our dining experience and the food were excellent. We did appreciate the necessary precautions you took to ensure our safety. Thank you.
