Great Food BUT Kayla the server was outstanding !!
It was wonderful for the most part! We love the atmosphere of the bar. It’s very loud but I’m not sure you can do anything about that. Also my salad wasn’t the best. It was the seafood trio. The salmon tasted a little bit fishy. The avocados tasted too lemony and there was too much dressing on everything
Great service. Great food.
Wait staff was nice and accommodating. Enjoyed the meal .. whole fried fish.
Great food; staff was very nice, professional and knowledgeable
Food was very slow. Restaurant empty
Well, since they don't offer free desserts for birthday celebrations, I'm going to have to re-think my outing to the restaurant.
The ambiance of this place is great. The service staff at the bar weren’t so great. They werent knowledgeable on the menu items, they didn’t know the specials and had pretty slow service being I was at the bar area. The fried snapper appetizer was great, the crab cake wasn’t very good at all and they prepared my fish perfectly.
Our waitress was wonderfully awesome!! This is the 2nd time I’ve had her and she’s consistent with exceptional customer service!! (I don’t recall her name, but she’s our waitress on the patio)
My first visit since the relocation. I've visited the previous location many times. Friday night dinner with my husband. Service was slow in the beginning. Waiter was not attentive. I love the Landry's group as I am a Landry's Club member. I will return for a second shot at better service.
We tested the HRW dinner menu. The choices I made were good. The meals were simple, but well prepared and tastes were good. We were a group of 12, and the restaurant was busy, so the service wasn't excellent. I will go back to test the restaurant another time, but at a less busy time and with less people :)
Great food and service that more than lives up to the legacy of the long-lived much-beloved original
Food was excellent. One drawback was that I ordered a daiquiri, and waiter said they didn't have them. We also asked if there would be any special dessert for our anniversary, but waiter didn't offer anything.
I fine dine with my wife all the time. This was my first time trying Houston Restaurant Week because we had some friends with us. When my friend asked for the HRW menu he was ignored. I didn't think anything of it and asked for the menu when the waiter came back. He didn't seemed too thrilled to bring it to us and walked away. Moments later we had a new server bring us the HRW menu. He told us sorry for the mix up and that he would be our new server. He was great but the first server almost had us walk out of the restaurant.
Don't think i will be returning.
Good food but too much butter in the veggies. Whole fish selection was excellent
Very consistent as far as food quality selection and presentation goes. This is an obvious Houston classic that is one of the rare exceptions in that it got better when the concept changed. Our server, Rita, is a holdover from the old location but she is clearly among the best and most attentive wait staff in the city. A true testament to the company for keeping her as part of the transition into the future.
We always love dining here. Staff are great. My house salad had great makings but the flavor was lacking. Was very bland. The red snapper and crab was delicious. Passed on desert, although tempting. Watching waist size otherwise decadent deserts are delicious I am sure. Valet parking only, easy in and out.
Great time and great company at Wilie G's this weekend. The new location is beautiful and the food is top notch.
Service was great!! Abby took great care of us! We will definitely return soon
My new favorite! The appetizers and craft cocktails are interesting and the fish was cooked perfectly.
Birthday. Janelle is the best waitress on the planet.
We all enjoyed a great lunch!
Lo cambiaron a unas cuadras de distancia, el restaurante quedó muy bonito y elegante pero cambió de comida muy buena y reconfortante a un lugar más para citas y diversión, me gustaba más el de toda la vida.
Very nice restaurant with plenty of seafood options
The service was a bit slow. In fact, my waiter completely forgot about me.
This was my first time ever dining at this restaurant. I would really like to take the time out to say to my waiter that served us that night. She was very nice and sweet and took real good care of us.
We had a great time on a Saturday night here. There were many reservation times available and we reserved for 8pm but still had to wait at the bar for 20 minutes to be seated. The ambience and decor was great but there should really be a stricter dress code to match as we were dressed up for the occasion and sat next to people in tank tops and flip flops. We ordered quite a few appetizers to share and they were all outstanding, especially the hamachi crudo. Our waiter mentioned a tasting dinner with wine pairings which we signed up for and are looking forward to.
Willie G's was awesome. We had a great time, the service was great and the food was delish!
Excellent service, atmosphere and food. Food presentation needs work though.
Food was great. A little loud for our taste, but that’s guest preference dependent. Good service. Had an issue using the open table points gift card, but the manager was great working though the problem. Will return, but maybe at a less busy time.
Fish was dry and overcooked. Potatoe puree tasteless. Corn, Bar Trash and Greek Salad good.
But with a bill of almost $300 (including tip and a bottle of wine), I'd much rather cook at home and have a great piece of fish.
Nathan was an outstanding waiter.
love the new location food and service always good.
Service is always excellent and along with the food.
I love the large selection of fresh fish! It's pretty cool to see what your fish looks like before it's cooked.
Was never a fan of the old restaurant and not likely to become one, even though the restaurant itself is lovely. Great furnishings and fixtures. Food continues to be too greasy for me. Service was lousy - I waited another 10 minutes for my entre but glad my guest's didn't have to wait.
It was a very nice meal.
The service was amazing . Our waitress was so attentive and made recommendations due to it being my first time . I was celebrating my birthday and the waitress brought me a candle for my cupcake . I thought that was so sweet .., she said I needed to make a wish . I will definitely be back .
We went after a matinee at the Hobby Center. Great food and great service. We really enjoyed the Chilean See Bass bites appetizer.
