Loved our dinner. The tiger prawns and short rib flat bread appetizers were really good. I had the short rib entree wuth broccoli and cauliflower risotto a bbd it was excellent. Enjoyed leftovers for lunch the next day even more. Hubby had duck which was moist and yummy. Their house wine was good too. Service with Clarknnwas excellent. They even validated our parking. Will return
My first visit here & it was for Brunch to catch up w/an old friend. The service was decent. The food was pretty good. I had the berry French toast & sausage. Good portions. My friend had the chicken fried chicken & enjoyed it. I appreciated that it wasn’t a spot with loud music blaring or where you can’t hear yourself talk. Would recommend.
Visiting our daughter in Arlington - she lives just blocks away, but had never been because she didn't think it looked like much from the outside. I thought the brunch menu looked good so we decided to try it. We had a great time, lots of personal attention, and stayed for a football game!!! We didn't try the brunch omelet and belgian waffle bar, but will definitely try it next time! Was surprised about how nice it was and how much space there was once inside. We had our own little "private room", but we still felt like we were part of the bar scene. I think this is our daughter's new hangout for football games!
It was an awful experience. I have called the restaurant a day before to ensure that vegetarian options without garlic and truffle oil will be available and I was told "Yes". When we reached there, we were told that all vegetarian dishes have garlic and all they can give me is Nachos. The chef refused to accommodate us, which is entirely not acceptable. We had already ordered the drinks so we decided to stay back and I asked to make quesadilla with spinach, red peppers or any other vegetables they had, but instead I got the one with cheese and jalapeños only. I felt bad about the server as she was very nice, but she could not do anything. It looks like that food is not freshly made as all different vegetable side options were already cooked, which is surprising with the price that they ask for. Noise level with time was too high and it was impossible to talk. Next, we both parked our cars in the garage that they recommend and validate for 3 hours. But, at the time when we got out frustrated we were both charged for the car parking for $11. This is a complete scam place and please be aware as they are not even close to what they advertise it. I never had this bad experience in any place in my life.
Great restaurant, can't believe I've not checked this out before considering it's so close by. Party of 6. Everybody enjoyed their dinner & desserts!
Great drink selection and selection of unique sides and appetizers that paired well with the menu.
Bit loud with nothing to attenuate. Wait staff were in a meeting when we got there so a delay in our order, but once the server came, things were okay.
Absolutely wonderful service for our large group. Very friendly staff. Great place to take the team for a lunch.
Service could have been better, my tap root beer had a weird taste of dirty dish water, my soup came out cold. Good place to go drinking, but not necessarily a place I would recommend for a great meal.
First time visit to the Tavern -- Outstanding in every area. Our waitress, Stephanie, was simply wonderful. Food service was quick, complete, and attended to requirements. Would highy recommend William Jeffrey's Tavern to all!
This place is right in our neighborhood and we love it. Food is reliably strong. Tavern atmosphere but it's not too boozy - doesn't stink of the night before. Hung with friends, brought my parents for dinner, had Mother's Day brunch for my wife. All were good times.
The restaurant was nice, they even made a mint julep although it was not on the menu. It was quite when we sat down at 6:15, but the noise become more energetic as the evening went on.
Restaurant was extremely loud and the entrees were mediocre at best but the appetizer and beers were good. It's more for a bar scene and not a restaurant.
Ruined a good dinner and drinks night by making the poor decision to upcharge .50 on ranch and bbq side. If your business needs to charge .50 for a side of bbq sauce on a $60.00 ticket you have big operation issues. They said they make their own ranch. Taste the same buttermilk ranch you get anywhere. If you're making it yourself and charging. 50 cents for a shot of it. Save the time and money and go to the grocery store and buy a bottle. Just stupid
A very pleasant surprise! The food was outstanding and the service was great. Be sure to park in the underground garage though, not the Giant garage.
Nice atmosphere. Sports bar meets ski lodge. Food was very tasty and the service was good. Would definitely go back.
Everything about it was superb. Our server was the best and took great care of us all evening.
The staff was accommodating and friendly. Our server/bartender, Johnny, was excellent all around. He answered all our questions and steered us to a beer that was excellent. We were a group of 8 for an early New Years Eve dinner. Food was great, the short rib was especially tasty. We also enjoyed a variety of oysters and the calamari as appetizers. I would recommend WJT, we look forward to returning again soon.
Highly recommend this gem. Always very welcoming and friendly. Love their daily specials, great seasonal menu. Food is fab
Everything was great! We had a group of 15 and they accommodated our group. Thank you so much and kudos to our server.. I believe her name was ivonne (this was Sunday night)
Our table was ready and we were seated immediately. The server was awesome and came to the table immediately to give us our menus. Service was great, as was the food. They did make a mistake on my food, and made the order right within a small amount of time. William Jeffrey's is just up the street from where we live, and we all agreed we will be back. Excellent experience from Open Table to getting the check.
I really like this place. It's the perfect combination of guys' sports bar and a date spot girls will like. The food is average, but the atmosphere and drink selections are excellent.
Always a great place to visit - excellent servers, great atmosphere, delicious food, and 2-hour validated parking in the Siena Park garage.
Quality food with creativity behind the dishes. Ahi tuna nachos are a must!
One of our favorites - casual but up-scale neighborhood bar!
Went there for a group meeting. Food was good, service quick and not intrusive-so we were able to get work done. I made a reservation because I didn't know if it would be busy, but there were plenty of tables. Must have missed the rush. Overall, would go again for a lunch meeting if needed.
Tavern has a Good Bloody Mary bar. I enjoyed the service also.
Went for a Saturday breakfast/brunch - the eggs, biscuits and gravy was a good, filling meal.
Discovered this restaurant in walking distance of my home. The word, 'Tavern' in the name scared me a little, but our brunch with mimosas were delicious. I will definitely walk over for future meals.
We went for brunch with friends from out of town. Great Huevos Rancheros!
Met friends from out of town and were pleasantly surprised to find this gem. Service was outstanding; food arrived well prepared and hot. Server was very friendly and took great care of our small party. She recommended coming back to try their brunch. Based upon this experience we certainly shall.
I met up here with a friend before we caught a show. While I was waiting I had the mussel pot which was delicious. The microbrew was also excellent. I then followed it up with a beet salad. I liked the salad dressing very much but the beets were bland - tasted like potatoes.
Went for brunch and ordered off menu instead of the bottomless waffle and omelette bar. The food was tasty and well presented. The special eggs Benedict with crab cake was really a special treat
Great food, great cocktails, and great service. Definitely one of our favorite spots for date night or a night out! Enjoyed the live music too
We started with the featured appetizer mussels. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. Then for dinner we chose the featured braised pork shank which was absolutely perfect! It was very tender, in so much it could be cut with a butter knife. Also it was super flavorful, it's hands down the best pork entree I've had. There was a great selection of beer as well. The service was spectacular too, all in all it was a great night!
